I really am sorry for not posting, been super duper busy. You guys guessed correctly and Chris is home, he got home late Tuesday evening and between Him, the kids, School and work I've not had much time for anything. I got up this morning at six am drove to school.... sat there learning (I've learned a LOT), then got home around 3:30, ate, passed out on the couch for about 40 minutes and then had to be at work at 5:30 this evening. It's around 1 am right now and Chris gave me the best massages (I'm so relaxed) and I'll be passing out soon... don't have to get up early in the morning. but I still have to work from 5-11 tomorrow night. No one is allowed to wake me before NOON, I've already laid down the law, lol. Daddy is here and he can handle it. biggrin
Tuesday when he got home was wonderful and great, all except I had to write a Dang Essay about Hematology SIXTEEN PAGES!!!!!! I could have died, so it was kiss, write, research, kiss, write some more, cuddle....smooch......grumble and write some more, lol. because it was due the next morning. I was upset but the whole class had to do it for a punishment because we were three minutes late getting back to class from lunch. No one commisserated with me and they all (family) thought it was funny, all my complaining and fussing. We phlebotomy students haven't been late anymore though and are paranoid as all get out about the time, lol. Other than that, I'm catching on great and learning lots of stuff (time keeping, lol) Well, I must be going, I can't keep my eyes open.
Pat, I'm glad you are feeling better and got those kinks worked out. I'm also glad you and tony are getting on so well. Good luck with the pooch.
Ya'll's Knuffles look cute, I may get one soon.
I'm glad Em had fun and is getting involved with all the cool stuff. Kaylee has been going to bible school all week and has been enjoying it. Kodi didn't want to go, I don't know what to do with her. She's too much of a home body and doesn't like to be around other people much.
My brain has went kaput and I can't think of anything else to write so I'm going to go snore for a while.

The Knuffles are so cute. My daughter was trying to convince me to get a pet on facebook. Told her I didn't want anymore responsibilities for pets, even pretend ones. But knuffles are very tempting.
Hope the puppy finds a good home soon. I'm sure he would be perfectly happy to stay where he is talking to you all night Pat. Wow, you're so lucky to have a massage therapist in the family. So glad she was able to help you. Wish I could adopt her!
Yes, Marianne a tenth birthday is a big one. Sounds like a great plan to have a party for Em and her friends. Thank you for the kind thoughts.

Have to get to sleep myself. Our granddaughters have been hanging out here a lot and I keep missing my nap. Not that I mind. They'll be off to school soon enough. One got a laptop for graduation. We have a wireless router and they don't so she was just grinning and singing and down loading music into it today. Told her I thought that was for University work. rolleyes

Hey the class sound great! It is fun to be learning new things.
Marianne, a 10th birthday? She will be a whole entire decade old!!!!! Gosh!
Shirley: the graduations are really wonderful milestones in a life. How neat that you are close enough to attend them.
Tony is coming by this morning and we are going to see if Aunt Jackie can schedule him in for a healing touch session. He's always in a lot of pain and if she can relieve that pain for even a few hours, that will be nice.

Hope Aunt Jackie can relieve a lot of Tony's pain. When you live with pain relief for even a day is a blessing.

Welcome back mendijo!! It sounds like your just enjoying life right now which is great. It's been awhile since I've been in school but you sound like your leading the life of a true student now with some extra workload/kids/family!! When I was in college I was going to school full time all morning then I would work at my first job from 12-5 at a dentist office then I would head over to my second job (Subway) and work 6-11. It was some crazy times and I really don't know how people manage it!!! I guess you do what you have to for you and your family!!!!
OK I love the new knuffels!!! I think they have been upgrading there site so they look very cute!!!
TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have been so exhausted this week with work and kids but hopefully we can all just do some relaxing this weekend.

I like that your Knuffle has a name Arena. Looks like the new ones just have the owner's name. I got one but since it was the same as Mariannes and Pats, I'll see if I can get a different one later. Hope you get some kickback time this weekend and get rested up if that's possible with two adorable little guys to chase after.

16 pages?! For being 3 minutes late?! burning_eyes Now that's cruel and unusual punishment! But I'm glad the rest of the class seems to be going well.
I can't resist those Knuffels. I always have to stop and feed/play with them until they're "satisfied."
I'm an introvert myself, so I can sympathize with Kodi there sweatdrop I did meet one of my best friends I still have today while at a summer ceramics class when I was around her age, though.

I've been volunteering at Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, which records audiobooks for people with disabilities. So far I've mostly done directing, where you follow along with someone recording a book and stop them if they make a mistake. (Most of the time they pick it up themselves, though.) I usually handle rewinding or overwriting it. I've also done file checking, where you make sure the person said the page number at the start of each page.
They read all kinds of material - so far I've worked on a public administration textbook, political science and ancient Asian philosophy textbooks, but other people were reading fiction books.
I'd like to be a reader myself eventually, but I'd have to do an audition first smile
I feel a little bad, since on Monday someone finally told me about a library that wants volunteers, but I'm already doing this. I made a commitment for the summer and all. I can try to find another library position during the next break.

The volunteer work for the Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic sounds interesting and very worthwhile! Glad that they were able to snag such a dedicated person for the summer. Is your major in library science? You have told me your major before, but my brain is like a sieve and holds nuttin'

Glad that Chris is back Mendi. I just wish you weren't so busy.
Can I ask I big favor of everyone here? For the past 3 days I haven't been able to get on neopets and I think it might be my provider which is AT&T. Can you gals try accessing that website and let me know if you can get on and what service provider you have?
