Beyond comic book based, I like AD&D Second edition. I LOATHE third . . .
Almost all Palladium games, but I like Rifts best. Especially Wormwood.
World Of Darkness . . . particularly Vampire, although Rokea (Sharks) are fun to play in Werewolf

City of Heroes is my current addiction, but D&D (second edition) was where I got into P&P games. We used to do it on camping trips because it travels well. I do enjoy the 3rd edition but have yet to give 3.5 a try (it's whre I introduced my Terra Sol character for those who've read the CoH thread). It's been awhile since I've gotten a chance to play. My regular group kind of parted ways. As to hero based ones, haven't really played any. Heroclix though is another addiction.


On a side note, sorry to hear about ER. It's been awhile since I've been in there. Used Terra there as well. And funny that they mentioned WBS since that is where domi first originated.

I've also played 2nd and I believe 1st edition as well.
Other outside games I've played are both Star Wars and BESM on the D6 system as well as the D20 system and a couple others that I don't recall offhand.

..is a fabulous system. I'd recommend it to anyone, I currently play characters in two M&M campaigns (the standard campaign setting of freedom city and a Nocturnals game) and just set up my own campaign which has set off to a rocky start as I've never run anything before but people appear to be enjoying it (which makes me proud as it's a futuristic setting and I spent hours creating an entire universe for them to play in!!)
