"Really now?" Reizo teased, a smirk spreading across his lips. "Do I get a reward or something for that?"

Sure the girl had just woken up from fainting, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to make a joke out of things. It was probably what the girl desired anyways. If she had dealt with fainting spells her entire life the last thing she probably wanted was him hovering over her, which would be even worse at the moment considering she was wearing close to nothing. She did have a killer body though, it was kind of hard to not notice. The only thought that constantly kept crossing the boy's mind was the line, 'if I told you you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me?'

What?

Tirza scoffed, rolling her tired eyes. "Sure. You want my virginity, too?" Sighing, she hopped out of bed, not even bothering with modesty around him anymore. Knees buckling a little, she made her way into the closet and shut the door. A few minutes later, she appeared wearing a black, long, tight-sleeved shirt with a pair of dark-denim jeans and a purple belt. It was practical, but, none the less, still fitting. Short of shopping at Lane Bryant, Tirza was screwed pretty much. Sighing, she turned to Reizo, blushing still. "Well, let's go walking." Arms folded, she waited for him to get up and lead the way, a habit often followed since childhood. After all, it wasn't respectful to leave the room when an elder was present.

Reizo chuckled a bit at her first comment. The girl was most definately an amusing character, someone who he would actually enjoy being around. Perhaps enjoy wasn't the correct word, more like he would be able to stand being around her, which was the closest thing to approval in his book.

"Aw, I liked you better without the clothes on."
He teased, upon her grand entrance back into the room. An apparent smirk was fixed onto his lips , which was soon erased as he followed the girl to the door. "So, where do you want to go, sleeping beauty?"

[tis short. don't kill me]

She scoffed once more, hands placed on her hips. "Well, keep that as a lasting image because I assure you it'll be the last time you'll ever see me that way." Tirza winked after saying that, a force of habit. For a moment, she seemed thoughtful. Where in the school would it be virtually deserted? "Let's go to the library and ******** around." She decided. As a young teenager, prior to her mother getting killed, she always loved running around the library, knocking things down, even when she didn't have the energy. "Unless you have a better idea of where we should go." Added Tirza, not realizing how dirty and inviting her first sentence sounded. She turned away from him and lead him out of the dorm, down the hall and towards the library, along the way singing to herself a tune she long forgot the name but remembered ever still.

[to the library? x3]

First the girl had invited him to her dorm. Then she had collapsed in just her bra and underwear. Now she wanted to go ******** in the library. Well, wasn't she just the promiscuous girl? She had claimed that he wouldn't be able to lay his eyes upon her like that again, but really they had just met and he already had so he really didn't doubt such a thing would happen again.

"To the library it is." Reizo said with a shrug, really not caring where they went. Besides, the library was an intriguing place. People just didn't know of the secrets it contained, but he did of course; he knew all the school's secrets.

Mmkay...So, dorm room? Check. Luggage...? Black pigtails swished back and forth as the girl took a quick look about her feet. Roommate...? After a quick dart through the entirety of the dorm, the girl had fully decided that she did in fact have roommates, but they were no where to be found. Why didn't she know their names even though it was posted on the door? Oh, she had just kind of snapped herself into the room to prevent having to drag her things through the pouring rain. Magic could be so, so useful when the need arose.

Dark hues flicked upward to the ceiling as they were expecting the rain to go right through the roof. It would make about just as much sense as the rest of her life did. After placing her hands on her hips, she gave the dorm room another once over. It would be nice if friendly people stayed there. It was a bit of a hassle to get to know chilly people, but it wasn't impossible. Kicking the bag she carried into a far corner, her feet found their way to the couch and she perched herself on the back of it. "I'll unpack later..." a gentle voice echoed in the silent room and a soft plop followed after it as she flipped backwards to hang upside down on the couch. "What to do...What to do..."

I really don't feel like doing anything...It was a really long ride here... Silky fabric slowly fell to rest around a sculpted waist, allowing her legs to be revealed up to her upper thighs. Covering her eyes with one of her arms, she rested there. "Gonna go explore!" she abruptly chirped, hopping to her feet. Snapping her fingers, she disappeared in a shower of glitter.

Dark eyes stared at the dorm room's door blankly. Then in confusion. Then in sheer irritation. What. The. Hell? Oh, Hikari, it probably would have been a good idea to look at who your roommate was when you were here earlier. But no. No. That was just toooo easy, wasn't it? Now you're screwed. Absolutely freakin' screwed. Whirling around, she opened her mouth and raised her index finger like she was about to shout something. It was probably something along the lines of 'why didn't you mention that we had to stay in the same room together?!'. With much more obscenities than that, of course. However, she snapped her mouth shut and settled for a sharp glare.

Turning swiftly, she flung open the door, stalking inside without much care whether Reizo followed or not. The urge to break something was nearly overwhelming. Fate. I hate you. I really, really, really hate you. You're a b***h, you know that? She stood in the middle of the room, one hand on her hip as she glared at the floor. Oh, how she wanted to cry at the moment... Or let out the frustration somehow. There wasn't time for that. And it wasn't the place. And it wasn't with the best person, either. Epic failure. Sighing, she mumbled something before flopping down on the floor. Knees pulled up under her, she cursed the world for all it was worth.

Which was nothing, of course. Hikari's chin dropped to her chest, fingers curled into fists as they rested on her thighs. Officially, the girl was miserable.

Reizo shared the emotions that Hikari felt as his eyes fell upon the names on the door. All except the one's filled with anger of course. For the boy was honestly surprised. Alina... er Kyoko... must've changed his dorm without him knowing. That wasn't surprising, of course Alina wished for him to be with her. She wished for her to get the girl for real this time; to win. Could he do it? Perhaps, but could he do it without falling himself... hopefully.

"Hikari?" The boy spoke softly, gently, the sincerity had to deny. "I'm sorry." He frowned, unsure of what to say to the girl, how to comfort her. Odd. He always knew what to do. He never had any struggle, but with Hikari he was different. He actually felt something. "I could switch dorms if you would like. I didn't put myself here..."

A wry smile appeared on the girl lips, despite how hard she was trying to frown. The attempt was so great that her face actually hurt from it. He was lying again, right? He didn't care if it bothered her, right? Reizo had been the one that said he didn't care about anyone at all. That was understood. And it hurt. Pain didn't matter, though. Hadn't she felt that empty aching for most of her life? It could be dealt with just like before... Doubtful. The source of the pain was standing right behind her. How did someone deal with that?

Slowly, she staggered to her feet, head still hanging low. "Stupid," she muttered, turning and lifting her head. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, but the oddest cynical smile played on her lips. "Why can't you hate me? Why?" A strained laugh then. "Why don't you...Just kill me or something...?" It'd be so much easier than this. Shaking her ahead, she turned on her heel to begin pacing slowly about the room. Stupid of her to be so upset. Hikari was a big girl. There was no reason for her to cry...And try to hide it with the best smile she could muster. Childish. "Because I can't make myself hate you...I never have been able to."

A shaky hand lifted brush a stray hair from her eyes. "God, I tried to, though. I could be angry. Yes..." She laughed again, one hand covering her face and the other clasping her elbow. What am I doing? Ah, her plans always turned out to be failures in the end. Yelling had benefited her, too. The stress of doing it hadn't. All that was left behind was barely enough will to stand up, let alone put up a mask.

"And here I am crying in front of a b*****d who's probably enjoying it! Thinking that he's gone and won the game!" Rather flamboyantly, she made a waving motion with one of her hands. Silence followed, but it was short lived. "Reizo..." she nearly whispered, not even bothering to finish her sentence. A bad habit of hers. A part of her liked to assume that whoever she was talking to could fill in the blank. But this time there was no blank. There was no point in saying what had almost slipped. Useless. Trivial.

Snaking her arms around herself in a hug, she seated herself on the floor again. Those lean legs of hers just couldn't support her anymore. And the tears wouldn't stop, but the smile had.

I don't want you leave. I never did. I never will...

Did her tears break his heart? No, but they sure seemed to at last scratch is surface. Seeing the girl in pain was one of the very few things that caused him turmoil. To see that lovely face of hers tainted with tears was a sight he never wished to see. He had said that a year ago, and he still felt the same way now. But why? Wasn't he supposed to be cruel? Why would Alina have done this to him? She had to have known he couldn't resist the girl, that he would fall for her. It was a test wasn't it?

With a soft smile gracing his lips, he walked towards the girl. He gently reached for her, slowly pulling her off from the ground so that he could look the girl in the eyes. Allowing his sincere smile to continue to be etched onto his features, he cupped the girl's face in his strong hands, gently wiping away the girl's tears.

"Would you be mad if I-" He stopped, knowing that she would probably snap at him for what he was going to try and say. Ah, hell with it. He might as well go ahead. With that thought in mind, the boy leaned closer to the girl, pulling her towards him. He pressed his lips against hers, lost in the gentle kiss.

For once he was glad to fail a test.

Frowning slightly as he touched her, she lifted an eyebrow. That couldn't be good. Close encounters were never good. And that look of his stirred up unnecessary emotions. Wait, he wasn't going to...? Ah, hell. As if she wasn't in enough pain and confusion already. What was adding another piece of torture? Once again, she found herself inwardly cursing anything and everything that had to do with fate, love, and emotions. Stupid life. Damned karma.

And when their lips met, Hikari almost relaxed. Almost. Until panic and logic slammed into her like a speeding bus. An erratic attempt at escaping ensued. Somehow, though her mind didn't register it, she escaped. And it wasn't graceful, either. In fact, she tried backing up and tripped over her own feet. Landing with a rather painful sounding thump, she let out a whine. Wincing, she gave him the 'why'd you do that for?' look. Her heart was racing and she could have died from embarrassment. Yes, she had had better days. "You moron, you almost stole heart again! You're mean! Very mean!" she sputtered, the back of her hand covering her lips. After a minute, she jabbed an accusing finger at him. "You! I'm not falling for it! Not again!"

Lies. Very convincing lies that she almost believed herself. After much debating, her mind decided to blame her flushed reaction on hormones, too. Anything to sooth her nerves. Something denied those concepts, but it was ignored. Finally, she settled on staring him down since her mind had, abruptly, ceased to function. Crap. Crap, crap, crap. I liiiiikkkkkeeeeddd thhaaattt. Shameeeee! Shammeeee!!! Those were the only thoughts that continued to repeat like a mantra in her head. Sighing, her stare softened to more of a incredibly confused gaze.

"Why? Why do that to me when you know for a fact that I still have feelings for you? I'm not even going to deny it. I still love you. A little bit. So don't even give me that 'I win' smirk. You haven't. And, are you trying to give me a heart attack? Cause let me tell ya, Reizo, you're doing a great job if that's your goal!"

"I hope you realize I didn't choose to leave." The truth in his statement was undeniable. The Alliance indeed removed him from his position at her school. It hadn't been his choice to abandon her; it had just happened. Of course it was to prevent him falling for the girl, which he unfortunately already done. Now he had only been put back in the former situation. However, this time he knew he couldn't get pulled out. The school was theirs, he could do whatever he wanted.

"And if I was trying to be mean to you I would ignore you completely. I assume that would only hurt you more." Yet again, the boys logic was flawless.

"Did you ever think I actually mean it? That maybe I do what I do cause I really about you?"

"No. I didn't think that. I hope you know that I'm pissed at you either way," she replied blandly, forcing herself to her feet to stand with one hand on her hip. So, what was he saying? The Alliance had dragged him off? It figured. Really. Now there was another thing to add to the epic she had named 'why I'm hate evil organizations'. Not that she would go against them or anything. Because to her that meant going against Reizo, and that was against her moral laws.

She scowled at what he said next. Read her like a book. He always had been perceptive, in a scary kind of way.

"No," Hikari muttered, her cheeks dusting a light pink. No, because someone like him couldn't care. No, because she had no reason to trust him. And, no, because she didn't trust herself. "What's it matter if I believe you or not?" Defensively her arms crossed. Her mind had decided to begin functioning again, at least. Sadly, that probably wasn't a good thing."You'll just leave again." Unconsciously she turned her back to him. That was right. The girl was positive the Alliance would find some ridiculous excuse to drag them apart. Separation had been painful the first time and she wasn't ready to go through it again.

"I don't have a reason to believe you anymore, love," she called softly, lowering her eyelids. "You're such a good actor that I can't tell what you mean and what you don't."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 28, 2008 9:55 pm

"I'm not going anywhere." For once the boy was actually being honest. The Alliance was going to be sticking around there for a long time. This time they were running the show, he wasn't just an actor in another school. He was there til the curtains closed. When that time came it wouldn't matter anyways. Hikari would be in the Alliance herself. She would forever be with him, whether she wished it or not. "They're controlling the school, Hikari. The headmistress is the leader of the Alliance." Saying such things was dangerous business, but it was Hikari, he could actually speak truth to her.

"Dammit, Hikari. I'm not acting." A frown was apparent on his features, the boy obviously distraught. He wasn't acting when it came to Hikari. Sure at first he had been, but that was apart of the game. Once he found that he could trust the girl things changed. To know that she cared about him changed the rules of the game.

"I figured that something like that was going on..." was her nearly nonexistent answer. "That's why I came here in the first place. That and hoping that you'd be around." She shrugged, finally turning to face him again. What did it even matter if they were controlling the school? All it meant to her was that everyone was screwed over. Including herself. "Don't expect me to join them with out a fight," she sighed, hardly any force behind what she said. That phrase was somewhat nostalgic. Ha. See where saying it before had gotten her? 'Cause she was just sooo good at making plans. ... Not. A skeptical look flashed through her dark eyes briefly, but whatever the thought, it wasn't voiced.

"You have no idea how badly I want to believe that," she smiled sadly. Poor guy. He had such an upset look in his eyes. An incredibly believable one at that. Not. Falling. For... Ah, it wasn't like it mattered anymore. She'd give in to her heart for the night and blame it on exhaustion in the morning. Believable enough. That is, if she even remembered to say something about in the morning...Oh well.

In a matter of seconds she had closed the distance between them. There was one last weary, disbelieving look before she slipped her arms around his neck. "Fine. You have one more chance. Only one. Don't screw it up this time," she warned. Thin lips were pursed in a way that clearly stated she meant it. If he pulled something on her this time, she was gonna unleash Hades on anyone she could get her hands on. Except Adeline...And maybe Jessica. They had been nice to her, so no punishment needed to be inflicted.

She muttered something unintelligible. Though garbled, it kind of sounded like "I like you better when you're honest." Why? This Reizo was the one that she remembered. The one that only she had the privilege of knowing. The one that she had begrudgingly fallen in love with. To think the first time they had met she had had to talk - rather argue - him into getting out of a tree and into her old school. She had been a little afraid of him back then. Actually, little was an understatement. And then they met up again only to argue with each other. What kind of relationship was that?

Apparently, one that Hikari loved.
