Ignoring the cool ninja gear because I still don't understand why so many people are obsessed with ninjas, I can't wait for some of that awseome desert that will eventually be released. Right, Qixter?! I want my desert!

I just want the damned thing to come out already. Yes, I would like to play it to death, but it's really sapping away time that the Creators *nickname I thought of for the creators of Gaia* should spend on the community. It seems like ever since they thought of the battle system, stuff's been going to hell.
What happened to the weekly comic? I liked those. Now we're lucky to get three or four a year. Even the events are going downhill. The Halloween event was golden, because you had to coordinate your attack plan and help eachother out. The Olympic games were good minigames, but damn, some were just insainly hard for some computers *dial up for myself*. And it seems like the Creators spend more time on advertising movies then in the community they created. What happened to all the money through the Collectables!?
Sorry for the rant, this just really got me thinking...But I'm all for training for the upcoming MMO. I like Well of Souls, but it really doesn't have the style that Gaia's MMO will have.

There actually aren't many developers working on it. All those things have some other unknown cause.
As for training, I don't know if anyone here has ever played Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, but its probably the most demanding game I've ever played in the area of teamwork. If we weren't all over the place, I'd say we should play somea lot of that to improve our synchronization. Too bad we can't.

synchronization huh? would help us out next time an event pops up where cooperation is needed. unfortunately the only multiplayer game i have been playing lately is team fortress 2. good team skill required, but very far off from a mmo.

Indeed, though a MMORPG/shooter hybrid would be great if it was made right.
On the note of synchronization and Crystal Chronicles, I was playing with my friend this one time and his brothers band was playing in the same room. It was pointless to try to talk to each other as the speakers were right next to us, yet everything we did was timed perfectly.

In order to train myself for the upcoming battle system I have been....just being myself. xp
I play far too many video games, it's true, but I'm proud! I can't say I've played a good RPG game in a while though, much less an MMORPG. I do play Quake Wars a lot though, but that's more the MMOFPS deal, like TF2. It would be epically sweet if we could somehow get together in an MMORPG and wreak havoc once more, I'm certainly all for the idea. I'm willing to try just about any game, but I can see the problem is getting everyone else settled on a game that they would want to play.
Also, this thread reminds me that I have that duel with Donte when the battle system is out.....where the heck IS Donte anyway? I haven't seen the dude around for a while.

hmm i have had a thought resently that our next team project will be this years halloween event, as i doubt the battle system will be released. I am sure, after the success of last years, that an event will take place, but that begs the question as to WHAT the event will be. looking at the evolution reports seems like a hint at what is to come..

I too realized that the Timmy situation could potentially lead into an event. But its current strangeness makes me wonder how it will play out.

Mmorpgs? I'm not much of a gamer. Lunia is coming Oct 7. Action/rpg style. Good reflexes are needed for close-combat classes. Teamwork is essential in raids and legend. Wizards need to be good at ice wall. Healers heal. The knights lure. Slimes basically spit potions and tank monsters. There's also the new puppeteer. I heard it's a really hard class to master. Fun game, especially when you get to ghost raid. I haven't done cobalt raid, but I heard it's fun. There's also pvp. I suck at wizard combos. Autostepping is hard. Knights and healers can shift combo. Thieves slide spam. Guild vs guild pvp might be fun. I want to see Kokujo Dfist monsters. ^_^

A post?! I didn't think those things still existed.
So, where's my nightmare class? Where's my sacrificing everything for speed and power?!
I hate fixed classes.

You could make a build for the swordsman that is for speed and power. Lunia has classes, but they're not fixed classes. The Sieg(warrior) could be built for pvp. It doesn't have the slow, powerful skills, but people put the fast skills together for long, devastating combos. I guess you could make a stage build with rage. For speed, just get good at running and dash attacks. There are also things called half dash and shift. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEF2D6B7-Ao&feature=relatedI think the combo is S-A-A-A-A-Triple Kick-space->>-AS-A-A-A-space->>-AS-A-A-S-A-A-A-Crosscut-Triple Kick->>-AS-space-Whirlpool Sword-Wind Kick
