It actually was in the Church hymnbook until the 1985 (current) edition. No idea why they left it out.

One of my favorites right now is Jesus Savior, Pilot Me. I think it might mostly be because of the ironic seaman imagery, since I'm out in the middle of the ocean right now.

Oh! Another one I love right now is How Firm a Foundation. It's my mom's favorite hymn, but I couldn't figure out why until just recently.

My mom sang I Am A Child of God to me as a baby, so I've always loved it. More recently, I've come to love If You Could Hie to Kolob. Weird, I know.
