I wonder where the word "bump" originated from.
Here's a silly theory:
One Friday night, a teenager was typing on the computer when her little brother ran by her seat and bumped into her chair.
So the teen was furious and started typing a rant, "BUMP! Oops, I'm just going to bump into you, big sis. Bumpity bump! scream "
So the person she was talking to online didn't like her rant so they said, "It was just a little bump..."
Angry teen: "Just a little bump...? JUST A LITTLE BUMP?! I'll show you bump *bump*"
Other pesron: "Don't take it out on me! *bump*"
Angry teen: "*bump*"
Random person: "Why do you put these * stars outside the word bump?"
Angry teen: "Because it's an action!"
Random person: "You don't need those stars..."
Other person: bump
What's your theories on how bump came to be?
