The temptation to stay and fight was decreasing as they sprinted farther and farther away.
"Why are those wolves so dangerous anyway? There just a bunch of dogs." Leah asks Blood, tightening her grip around his fur coat with her good hand. Leah could imagine how small she looked on this huge creature.
Glancing over her shoulder, Leah wondered what Beth was doing right now. Did she run into those wolves yet?

I start off after Blood, "If I know Blood, He will stick to the path."
I then cut through the forest to make up ground. I can see blood just ahead. As I get closer I hear Leah talking.
"Blood!" His ears perk up as he starts to slow down. I get right up beside them. Trying to catch my breath, I put my hand on his head to get him to slow to a walk.
"I believe we are safe for now." I then look over at Leah,"They are not dangerous when there is only one of them. As a pack they are a force to be reckon with. They are faster and stronger than your average wolves."
I stand up straight to take a deep breath.
"Blood, your as predictable as always." I start to giggle," When are you going to learn to stay off the path, my friend."
Blood then glares at me,"I am just kidding. Anyways, We are almost there Lets stop at Sly's. He will let us rest there."

"You can take on the most savage beast but, you won't kill a simple rat!" Lita just huffs as she lays on the floor trying to sleep. I swat the rat with my broom,"Gotcha.... Now was that so hard?" Lita then jumps up and runs toward the door and starts sniffing it.
"Now you decide to do something!" Lita starts to pant with excitement.
"Well... You only act like that when Blood or Beth comes around. Well I guess... I better get dinner cooking."

Leah giggles under her breath. "Ha, a pack of wolves just sounds like a fun easy kill. Speed or no speed." she replies to Blood and Beth. "I don't see why we were to run from them."
Approaching the little cottage, Leah's ears p***k forward, taking in the new scents of something big. Whatever it was, frightened Leah, and she did not feel like dying tonight.
"Ugh, I'm feeling much better now. Thank you. I can handle myself from here..." Leah says, ready to jump off the oversized dog.
Though leaving them Leah felt uncomfortable with. For some reason, she felt safe around them, protected. Like she didn't have to stay alert ever damn second she lived. Even if they were dangerous in there own ways.

The ground starts to shake from under our feet. It is hard to keep our balance. Trees start to fall behind us. We all turn around to take a look at what was going on. It looks like a mountain is starting to rise from the ground. I can make out what looks like a pair of eyes. As this thing starts to rise I can see it start to take shape. It is a GRAY GLUTTON.It is 30 feet tall and a good 10 feet wide. It has huge jagged teeth, that are they size of the average man. It's body is made of gray stone and huge massive claws on it's hands and feet. This beast lets out a massive roar that knocks all of us down and almost takes out Sly's house.

I turn to look at my cabin as it starts to crumble to the ground.
"MY HOUSE!"
Lita runs at the Glutton. She lunges at it. The Gutton swings one of its massive arms at her. It hits her with such power that it sends her flying a 100 feet.
"LITA!" I run to see if my pet is alright.

The Glutton lets out another roar. This time we brace our selves.

"I like your way of thinking"
I run to one of the trees that is left standing and start to climb It. I am half way up when the Glutton swings at me. I hop down barely getting out of the way as it hits the tree. The tree goes flying through the air.
"I am glad it missed." I look toward Sly who is running to check on his pet.
"Got any ideas?" I ask as I look to the others. "It is strong but slow."
