In the stickies I see that no advertising of sites is permitted, but asking for reasonable opions is. Where does one draw the line?
Well, if one were to say, "go to newegg.com! it's ******** awesome!", it would be advertising. However, if someone asked "How reliable is newegg.com's service?", they would be asking for opinions on the site.

Also, methnks more and more "rate my site" threads are appearing (or I'm just notincing them more). Would it be possible and useful to get a mod to make a sticky just for the purpose of posting sites to be rated and critiqued?
I doubt they will be in favor of making more stickies, though we could see if they could become Done To Death threads, and therefore, deletable.

Also, might I recommend moving the Post Your Computer Specs Here sticky back into regular C&T as many people seem to use it, but others do not know about it and simply create duplicate threads; if it was in regular C&T, methinks more people would see it and less duplicate posts would exist. Just my humble thoughts.
It's in Tech talk because NO computer specs listing belong in the help portion of the C&T. The threads you've seen are thread that are asking "what should I buy?", and I'm still a bit iffy on those, but we can't really make one specific build for everyone, since everyone has their own requirements.
