Admiral Dickface I'm currently working on "Paper Kirby", though it could take years before it's finished since it's a solo project. I don't understand why everyone wants that. Paper Mario was a boring game.

Paper Mario was probably one of the few stat based RPGs to do it right. Real numbers convert to real effects. The system is straight forward. Though to that end, people think it'll be easy to replicate. The basic system might be, but balancing and adjustments... have fun with that.

I'm with Nomad on that one. While I have a personal vendetta against Mario to begin with, both of the original Paper Mario games I didn't find very interesting. Turn-based RPGs I find very boring to begin with, but Paper Mario seemed to up the level of boring. I also thought PM2 tried way to hard to be funny and in the end, wasn't.
I liked Super Paper Mario though, that game was fun to play and the humor worked this time. Why does everyone hate it? I have no idea, but at least it wasn't that boring crap from the first two.

I'm really too lazy to give Super Paper Mario a try, but that might be 'cause I don't care for Mario games in general. I couldn't care less about what the Mario fanbase likes or dislikes.
I'm perfectly happy with Kirby games. (I'd be really happy with a Kirby RPG that wasn't ripped off of Paper Mario though.)
