Kia looked up at what Addy was looking at and realized that her new friends and all caught up to her." But they just acknowledged that Kia and Addy were there. Jeremy nodded his head and then they all went and sat at their house tables. Once they left Kia told Addy about her kiss with Nate. After Kia was done talking about herself she asked Addy whta she was so intently watching earlier.

Adara blushed suddenly. "Um," she started to say, trying to come up with some excuse, "I was watching...a student over there. He was doing a spell..." she trailed off. "Oh who am I kidding, I saw this really cute Hufflepuff boy. But it doesn't matter. He's obviously got his life." she said pointing over at their table at him talking with his friends. "And I've got mine. Besides, he's probably a jerk." Adara made a silly disgusted face knowing that it was probably the truth.

"Oh...I see" Kia said to Addy. Kia looked over to the boy that Addy was pointing at. "Ew", Kia said jokingly. Addy was still staring at him making it really obvious that she liked him. Kia tried to change the subject so she started looking around for her new friends, pointing them out to Addy. "Those three over there at the Gryfindor table are Jeremy, Makida, and Kayla. Jeremy is the boy obviously, Kayla is the girl with curly brown hair, and the other one is Makida and over there at the Syltherin table is a girl named Clarissa but I don't really know her." Kia felt cool now that she had real friends other than Nate.

Adara smiled when Kiandra was talking about all of her new friends that she met. "I'd love to meet them some time, but how on earth do you know that slytherin girl, it's that a bit wierd, i mean conversing with the other kind," she laughed while making fun of Slytherins. "I bet she's a real bi..." Addy suddenly cut herself off. The hufflepuff boy, was coming over to her table. This time he was definately coming to them. "Um...Kia is HE one of the friends you met...but you just didn't tell me about him, cuz he's coming this way, and I don't even have anything smart to say to him, I need time to plan something witty to say. oh shitty!" she said banging her head down on her plate.

Tabitha hurried into the Great Hall, barely paying attention to her surroundings. Subsequently, she took no notice of a fork that rested on the ground, tripped over it, and landed flat on her face. "Ow... bad day, bad day."
Clarissa burst out laughing when she saw her rival falling to the ground. "Oi, Tabitha! Watch yourself!"
Tabitha sprang up, fixing Clarissa with a glare. "Shut up! I bet you'd trip over that, too!"
"Over a fork? Unlikely."
Tabitha steamed, grey eyes narrowing, and turned away. "I'm not going to respond to that. It doesn't call for a response."
Clarissa sighed. "Of course, Miss Let's All Get Along doesn't want to clash with anyone. I see."
Tabitha glared, then stormed off, face red with anger, as Clarissa laughed to herself, happy to see her rival so flustered and pissed off.

Finnegan saw a girl point at him. She was obviously pointing at him because she kept whispering at her friend after she looked at him. "Sorry guys, I have to go take care of something." he said leaving his Hufflepuff friends. Man, they're probably telling rumors about me. he thought. He walked up to the Ravenclaw table and sat down across from Kiandra and Adara, took a plate and got himself a cupcake. He started eating it and they looked at him with pure fear. "Hi I'm Finn." he said with a smile trying to make this situation less awkward than it already was, "I just noticed you were pointing at me," he said as blunt as you could put it.

"Oh hi",Kia said to Finn. We were just pointing out the kids who might try out for the house Quiditch teams. See who we're up against. We heard that you were a chaser and that is the position that I play.
Sorry that we were pointing at you. Kinda rude isn't it? Again...sorry" Kia looked over at Addy"s facial expression.
Kia knew that Addy was very thankful that Kia had gotten her out of a really awkward situation. She was proud of herself for thinking that fast and getting her firend out of that weird situation.

Finn smiled at both of the girls, he liked it when other students knew who he was a Chaser. "Yah, I am a chaser. And I can't wait until Quiditch starts up again. No offense but we are going to whip your team's butt." He laughed. "Hey...you look familiar," he said to Kiandra, "Hey you're that cute girl from the library!" he said. Then Finn turned to Adara. She was definately new, but she seemed a little odd. "Um, You have a little bit of somthing on your face." he said as he scrunched up his nose a little bit.

Adara smiled. Thank goodness for Kia, what would she do without her. Finn seemed like a really sweet person AND he played Quiditch, what more could Addy ask for. "The cute girl from library!?" Adara whispered in Kia's ear, too quiet for Finn to hear. Addy suddenly blushed very bright and she whiped the pumpkin filling off of her face, it must have gotten there when she plunged her face onto her plate, trying to avoid Finn. How embarrasing! she thought.

"Oh...yes. I quite enjoy books. My boyfriend and I love to read. We spend loads of time in the library. And I think that we are going to kick your butt when it comes to Quiditch.
Anyways, I am really excited about Quiditch tryouts as well." Kia had made another new friend even if he was on an opposing Quiditch team. Kia told Finn and Addy to excuse her because she was finished her meal and she was going to go up to the common room to finished her homework. Which was due at the end of next week.

Addy panicked for a quick second. She clutched onto Kiandra's arm. "You don't have to go do homework. We can do that later. You don't have to leave, we were just talking and don't leave!" she said desperately but Kia left. If she thought before was awkward, she can't even begin to describe how desperate she felt now. What was she supposed to say? But thankfulfully Finn was good at starting a conversation.

Finn laughed. This girl seemed so insecure, but she looked really nice, just really close to her friends. "You play Quiditch?" he asked her, but when she shook her head, he replied, "Oh, that's too bad, I would've liked challenging you. It's a fun sport, I love it!" he smiled. Finn looked back at his Hufflepuff friends then looked back at Addy. "It was...uh, really nice to meet you. I'll see you around!"

Addy was lost for words. She wanted to say something memorable, so he would remember her and want to talk to her again...but she couldn't think of anything interesting or funny to say, so she let him start to walk away. "I LIKE YOUR HAIR!" she called after him, regretting it right after. That was SUCH a stupid thing to say, she told herself, shaking her head with regret. He's definately not going to like me now!

Finnegan smirked as Addy called after him. He got up from the table and headed back to the Hufflepuff table. He didn't say anything else to her, he let her say the last words. As he sat down beside his friends he said casually "Those Ravenclaw girls, they are so strange!" then they got into talking about their new homework assignment. "I've got to keep my grades up if I'm going to play Quiditch again this year. Last year was a close call..." he trailed off.

Adara found herself sitting there alone again.
Oh my god, this wouldn't have happened at my old school, she sighed to herself smacking her head in confusion. Addy got up and looked around, from the Hufflepuff table she saw Finn and he gave her a weird look, like 'wow, she's a retard'. "Eff, he saw me smacking my head like a little gollum!" she said outloud. Addy walked towards the door and looked back, she saw those people in Gryfindor that Kiandra knew. She smiled at them too, but they were busy amongst themselves. Addy ran out the doors and into the corridors, I wish I played Quiditch, she thought, then I might be able to get closer to him.
