Ria sighed into the common room. Nothing seems to go right when she was here. She walked over to the couch and sat on the letter seat. The tosty crackling fire was keeping her warm. Her mind would refer back to the Library but the thought of Aaron would always calm her down. Grabbing the nearest cotton pillow, Ria lied down. “Too bad. It just a Fantasy to dream.” She turned her body so her eyes were staring up at the ceiling. Lemon jumped up on Ria and curled up on Ria stomach. Ria reached her head out and pet Lemon’s soft and kind-of silky blonde coat. The cat started to purr while Ria just lay there thinking. “Maybe he’ll enter the house tournament.” She rolled over almost squishing Lemon until she felt something wiggle and a quiet cat scream. Ria lifted herself up and gave a ‘Sorry” type look.

Ria blinked and got up. Beside her, Lemon jumped on and meowed. She smiled and pets Lemon. "I think I'll go on a walk 'Kay?" The cat just meowed and fell back asleep. Shaking her head, Ria got up and left the common room. Really, Ria had no idea where she was going. All she knew was that she wanted to walk around.

Tabitha wandered into the Hufflepuff common room, holding her books and supplies in her arms, torn bag hanging off of her left arm. She dumped her supplies on a table, throwing her bag after it. Pulling out her wand, she pointed it at the bag, saying in a near monotone, "Reparo." The bag straightened, and the large rip started to mend itself. Once the magic had finished, she started the laborious task of fitting everything back in there. As she did so, her thoughts passed over Kayla and that murderous werewolf, and to the ministry's accusation. They thought she had killed them, that she was killing people. A book fell to the table as she thought, How in the world could they think I did it? Do they not know what I'm like? Didn't they bother to ask anyone about me? It's obvious that it's little more than coincidence! Tabitha started to cry a bit, but kept her tears silent, at best. She would get back to her dormatory as soon as possible, and hide out there for a while. She didn't feel like talking to anyone right now.

Aaron staggered back into the Hufflepuff common room, a wet towel draped around the back of his neck. His strawberry blond hair was still dripping wet, from whatever activity he had just indulged in, though his face had been dried. The boy's clothing was also fairly wet. In his arms, was clutched a rather large book. It seemed to have a leather cover with creative markings through out it's front, back, and side.
Aaron didn't look at around, only at his feet, though, if one looked hard enough, they would have noticed a rather odd, and stern look in his eyes. Thus, he did not see that there was only one other person in the room. He did, absentmindedly, note the unfamiliar silence. Usually, it seemed in the Hufflepuff common room there was never silence.
He began inching towards the stairs that led to his dormitory. His wet socks slid willingly against the wooden floor of the common room. He did not notice the other person in the common room until he heard a hiccough. While his attention should have been focused on the drunken portrait over Tabitha's head, he dark brown eyes focused on her instead.
Aaron slid back across the floor, flumping down into a chair across from her. He touched his pointer fingers against each other, wondering what one says to a crying girl. The young male felt his mind encouraging him to get back to his feet, run up the stairs, and hide under the bed. Instead, he softly gave a simple, "Hello?"

Tabby jumped, dropping the bag she had been holding. The books spewed over the ground, just as before. Tabby hit her forehead with her palm, and muttered, "Why does this keep happening?!" Hastily, she dove to retrieve her fallen posessions, only to hit her head on the table.
"Ow!"
She rubbed her head, annoyed, when her fingers touched something... sticky. Repulsed, she drew her hand away, to see spider web-like trails of gum from her scalp to her fingers. She stared at it, sickened, and slowly got to her feet. "Ew..." she gagged, forgetting what she had been crying about for the moment. Right now, her thoughts were centred on the mass of rubbery goop that had once been in someone's mouth... gross!

Aaron's arms quickly retracted to his chest in a defensive position, a mixed look of extreme confusion and fear on his face. He eyed Tabitha until she hit herself in the forehead, then he bent over and grabbed a book from the ground. As he set the book on the table, it bounded up into the air as Tabitha cried out in pain.
He grimaced as she spotted her hair. Leaning forward he cupped his hand under where the gum was. Jabbing the gum with his wand, and pulling it off so it left a trail, he muttered the magic word to the freezing charm. Quite happy spells weren't backfiring anymore, he watched the clump of gum freeze.
He paused, only now realizing he had thouched a girl without her premission. Aaron's face flared up bright pinnk, and he brought his hands back to his chest. They were held their oddly, as he averted his vision from the girl. "You ... You just need to tug it out now... You hair may hurt... a bit... B-But you shouldn't lose any hair."

Tabitha froze as a sudden icy feeling ran over her fingers and scalp, and realised the boy had frozen it for her. She looked at her fingers, seeing the rubbery goop frozen there, and was able to break it off with her other hand. "Thank you," she muttered, taking hold of the rest of it. Holding her breath, she gave a good pull, the terrible pain shooting through her scalp. Finally, it was removed from the strawberry blond locks she posessed, the gum laying on the ground with a few stray hairs locked into it.
"Uhg... some people are just rude..." she muttered to herself, picking it up and chucking it in the garbage. "They should really start considering others when they do something that disgusting." She shook her head slightly, then turned to Aaron. "Again, thanks... and I'm sorry, I didn't mean to drop my bag. I'll get it right away."

Aaron blinked, looking back at her and shook his head. His hands came together, joining in his lap. He grinned weakly at her, opening his mouth in response, "Don't say sorry. You haven't hurt me." Aaron's grin turned more warm, and he scouped another book of the ground, shoving his wand back into his pocket in the process.
He then curled is arm over his shoulder, and pulled the damp towel off his shoulder, holding it out to her. "You can use this to whipe your face." Aaron's other hand rested on the book he had dropped when he had froze her hair.

Tabitha took the towel weakly, nodding in thanks. She pressed the cold dampness to her face, wiping away the tears she had been shedding just a few moments before. However, as she did this, an eyelash got into her eye, causing a sudden irritation. She blinked rapidly, trying to get it out with her hand, but to no avail; it was stuck in her eye. She shut it firmly, hoping it would just go away if she kept it closed.
"Ah, damn it... eyelash..." she muttered, irritated, and the water seemed to just burst over the dam. All her hatred, anger, sorrows came tumbling out of the chest she had locked them up in back in her mind, over a stupid eyelash. "You know, it's funny... of all the things that could be upsetting me, something as stupid as this really seems insignificant to the rest. I mean, I've been forced to transfer here after three of my best friends died, and now... now the ministry is trying to blame me for the crime. I mean... what did I do for that?" Her grip on the towel tightened, her opened grey eye glassy with moisture. "I should be the least suspicious person of them all... and yet, they're such IDIOTS that they have me as their prime suspect!" These last words were coming out as faintly hysterical shreikings, but she didn't notice. She really didn't care; she was trying to get it all out into the open before it could crush her from the inside.

Aaron moved forward as she began rubbing her eye, though brought his hands back again as she began crying. He watched, listening, more confused, at first, by her emotion, then by his words. The boy jerked jumped as Tabitha screamed. His fingers opened and closed into the palm of his hands. Red marks began to form where his nails dug into his palm as he attempted to figure out what to say.
"Well.. Erm... If you know you aren't guilty, then you aren't. Because you are innocent you just gotta wait for everyone else to understand that. Just... be patient. Everything works out in the end." He raised a finger, rather "nerdishly", before making his final comment. "That's karma. Just wait for the balance to regain." Aaron smiled warmly, and pushed his hand to his ear, making he could still hear after Tabitha's scary screeching.

Tabitha quieted down a bit, eyes lowered. "I... guess you're right..." she choked. "It's just... hard to see the good sides of people some times, even for me. I suppose today just isn't my day." She folded up the towel, laying it on her lap as she stared at it. "I try and cheer everyone up, to keep everyone positive. I do my best to smile a lot and try to convince everyone else to get along with others. I've been this way since I was little; yelling and sadness just scared and depressed me, so I became Little Miss Ray of Sunshine."
Her hands balled into fists. "I continued being positive and trying to get other people the same way, even when my friends were dying and I couldn't do anything about it. I kept trying to cheer up the gloom, and I guess, in a way, I made a difference to some of them. But in the end... half of our group was dead. I... I just wish I could have shut up and cried along with the others. Instead... I told them it would be all right, that everything would work out in the end... but that was a lie. Did it work out in the end for Alana, for Crete, for Alexandra? No. In the end... they died."
She looked up, shaking her head. "But... I can't dwell on that subject; it would wreck my day even further. I'm sad about their deaths, but... I can't let it weigh me down every day. I have to keep going, no matter what, and get others to keep on going, too. A life that isn't spent with at least some joy isn't a life at all." With that, she stood up, gathering up her books, and running up to her dormatory to put them away.

"PollyJuice" Caleb said as he walked into the Hufflepuff common room. He looked around the room and thought to himself Wow this place is so differnt compared to Durmstrang. He knew that he had to change and get a new start. He needed to actually do his homework or else he would get kicked out of this school too. He didn't want that to happen. He loved magic. He was just to lazy to actually do school work. Plus he hated teachers he could teach himself magic perfectly fine.

Caleb walked up to his dorm and threw his stuff onto his bed. He did a quick spell and all of his stuff was placed neatly in its right place. Caleb wanted to take a tour around the school but there was no one in sight. He decided to go on his own. Besides...I don't need help from anyone Caleb thought to himself. He then walked out of the common room in search of the owlry. There had to be one of those in every school. He didn't show it but he was quite nervous for his first day at "HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY"
