The human girl got closer, and a look of hopefulness washed over her. I laughed slightly.

"Vampires can't touch electronic devices that have wires. It has to do with the electrical charges. Although cell phones are okay. They don't have any wires."

"Are you human?" The girl asked as she reached hearing distance. I held myself back from charging and sighed.

"A war over property emitted since we have the darker area. They don't think humans should be allowed to pass through the gates, but we don't care because if it's seen it dies. Your just lucky it was one of the Eternal Vampires instead of oen of our own. I wouldn't have stopped him then." I whispered before stepping closer to the girl.

She freaked and tried to run when she saw my skin. I smirked and looked at Cris again.

"Your not going to want to see this." I said before disappearing in one movement.

A few minutes later, I walked back to the spot where the human was standing, licking the blood off my fingers.

"You think we should live in caves? Well maybe you should live in mountains. It's closer to your precious sun. But humans inhabit the earth. Why can't we? It's martin luther king all over again. It's not our fault."

I smirked as I randomly sat cross-legged on the ground.

"You wanna know something? Vampires don't need blood. It just gives us a boost. We can live on simple plants. But humans choose to despise us, so we despise them. It's how it works." I said. I could feel cold eyes on me for betraying the secret and almost laughed, but I didn't want to scare the human. Much.

"We're surrounded by vampires at this very moment. They all want to kill me for telling you all this."I said as I looked around the place.

"Of course they won't go underground. Their stubborn." I said as I eyed one vampire getting edgy up on the roof of the building we were standing by.

"I recommend that you stay very quiet for the next few minutes. They won't attack. They wouldn't be able to catch me." I said with a small smirk.

"Humans started killing us off long before I was born. It became a struggle between us. Like I said before, blood gives us a boost. Most of us don't need it. But the weak and sick ones do. It is what keeps them alive. That's why I try not to. I let the sick have the pesty humans. But this city is only for the strong. Every single one of us are fighting humans and vampires every day. It's just the way we were raised." I said simply.

I smirked as I watched the human.

"Nervous?" I questioned. I looked around the city carefully.

"There are two on the building," I said pointing to the one at the edge of the street. "and there is one very restless one above us. There is one in every alley down this street, waiting for me to make one wrong move. And there is one that is stronger then me inside that building," I said as I pointed to the building on the other side of the street, two buildings down.

"As for you going out to war, goodluck. You might be able to defeat a few of them for a short period of time, but fire is the only thing that kills vampires. How can a human use that?" I asked.

Only one of them is. That will be the only one that attacks. The others already know they can't win. But that one up there..." I whispered as I looked up at the vampire hiding on the roof. "..is going to strike you later." I said.

"I recomend not getting in the middle of any vampire battle. He's stronger, but not faster. No one is faster." I said.

"It would appear he can't use magic eiither. He is preparing to attack. The other one will when he thinks my back is turned long enough. I think you could hold him off until he can be burned." I said as I prepared to strike the vampire that was waiting for me.

"No. He wasn't trained. I was. As for swords, we have nails for that, mostly." I said as I watched the stronger one carefully.

"Here he comes. If you want to do it, go ahead. Good luck." I said with a smirk and a laugh before disappearing.

"I'll be watching" I shouted from my position on top of the tallest building on the block.

I didn't speak. The other vampires watched carefully, and one came up behind me. I didn't bother to turn around. I knew who it was already.

'If this human is any good, he can hold him off for a while before I interfere. But if the other one goes for it...' I said as I eyed the other building. The man behind me got closer.
