they are staying level with doctor who - which will only have 4 parts next year. they're just taking a break, and RTD will not return in the 2010 series. he's out.
and i HATE to be "this person," but you all know it's spelled Ianto, not janto, right? with an I. look it up.

[Pink Pineapple] Is going to be a five part mini series. That is bull crap. I KNOW! It made me so sad 'cuz I came into Torchwood during the second series, and I was so excited for a third season. and then I got the news. Lame. And it's similar with Doctor Who. There's only gonna be 3 or 4 special event episodes, and the next full season will be in 2010. What am I supposed to watch next year? I guess Skins will have to do...*sigh*

[Pink Pineapple] darkshadow1031 Well, I kind of agree with you, the moment I found out I kind of wanted to cry. If it wasn't bad enough to kill Owen and Tosh off, they have to shorten the series. What bullshit!!! Also, most of the time, they have 5 episodes in the begining of the year, and five at the end, I hope to god thats what they are doing. Well, for now there is nothing we can do, and that shouldn't be all bad, atleast I can get my Janto fix. lol. Unless they decide to make it 'kiddy friendly' then it will just be focus on ooh let's go get this alien with absolutely no character relationship focus -cries a bit- Torchwood can't be kiddy friendly!!! That would be horrible! *sob* crying

After all, there's a brief shot of Jack and Ianto kissing in the trailer. wink Actually, I heard that there will be a DVD box set that takes out some swearing and violence or something... but apparently they still won't take out any homosexual relationships or anything, because they think it's stupid to censor same sex relationships.

Whne does it start? I've been totally out of it, school/work. Agh! I'm really excited though, sucks the only people that know about the show are on the online communitties. My 'friends' can't get past 'gray anatony' or some s**t. (no offense)
