Skylar slipped out the window of the house, tossing a bag of coins up and down. "Piece o' cake," he smirked, heading towards the nearest tavern.

Harden woke and quickly scurried outside, mainly to check the weather to see if it was fit for training, then moved to the mess hall, where he piled food onto his plate, and found a table.
Atton walked, staggered rather, past a woman carrying a girl on her back on his small journey to the inn, where he would buy a room, and sleep until he woke. His hopes were crushed when the innkeeper told him that they were out of rooms. Dang.

Magali had a sudden urge to sudder. Weird...
And then she figured it out. One: It was going to rain. Two: There was a fight starting.
"Aw crap... Hey, Marie, do you think there are any good caves anywhere?"
"Why would there be caves around here?"
"I don't know. C'mon, we'll buy a huge tarp or something and another blanket."

After Harden woofed down his plate of food, he left, heading outside the castle for his daily run. Halfway around the castle on his third lap, it began to rain hard. Dang.
Atton grumbled as his hair was plastered to his face by the rain. He needed to find a place to crash before he, well, crashed. Judging by the amount of wobbling, he needed to hurry.

Karen was studying some plants when it had begun to rain, hard. "MY BOOKS!" She dived at her books, and once they were all safe, she was throughly soaked. "Well at least the books are safe. She climb up a densely shrouded tree and settled herself a few feet off the ground. A chipmunk ran across the branch to the other tree and Karen watched in pure fascination. She pulled out her journal, ink, quill, charcoal and proceeded to record her observations in not only words, but art. However art wasn't her thing but she did landscapes, she began to sing a song while doing all this.

((Erin... I have the feeling to shout: "NO TREES!" but i won't. I'll just bold the word in my posts until you get the hint. XP ))
Atton dove under a large tree for cover, when he heard singing. He looked up, and what did he see? "Sing often?" He asked the woman in the tree, while hiding both the bite mark and the fangs.

Well, large tarp no. But Magali had found a tarp-like thing that she had pulled over herself and Marie. It was loose enough so Marie could see out and breathe, which was definitly a plus.
A faint tune made its way over the landscape and Magali snorted a little. Why did the words 'singing in the rain' sound so corny? Meh, either way they were headed in that general direction so she could choose to bypass or investigate later.
Magali liked having choices.

Karen who thought she was alone in the tree, fell out of the tree, and landed with a thud. Her book bag fell out of the tree and missed him by inches. "And, who in all land might you be!" She scrambled to her feet, grabbing the bag with one hand on her blade. Her next question was, there must be millions of trees in Magvel, hundreds of millions of trees, but of all those trees, he had to pick her tree. Like there were no other trees nearby... she should have hid better in her tree or something. xd

Atton watched the girl who was unhealthily obsessed with trees with curiosity. "You never answered my question, so why should i answer yours, treelady?" He smirked, before his eyes widened. He reached out as he turned pulling her into a mock hug hing , essentially pulling her out of the way as a lightning bold obliterated the tree. "Now then, would you please answer my question?" He asked, letting go of her.

"UH, thanks?" She was a bit stunned with the lighting and tree thing. "Stupid me should have seen that coming. I've read all about that, should have known better." She looked up, realizing she'd just totally said that aloud. "As you your question, I do, quite often in fact. Not very good mind you but I was bored." She dug in her bag for a map, pulling it out she crouched over it keeping it dry while scanning it. "Three miles northnortheast." With a flick she rolled it back up and in one motion got it back in the bag and the bag on her back. "Right, thanks for saving me from my own stupidity. " She was about to turn to go when she paused for a moment. "You okay? It might just be the the light, but your looking awfully pale." She waited, wondering just why he'd shown up or knew that was coming, no person had reflexes like that, her books said so.

What's up with trees?
Magali saw the bolt of lightning hit about an eight a mile in front of her.
Woah.
She picked up the pace to see if there was a fire or anything, but when she got there she just saw two people.
And one really burned tree.

"Well now." Karen hated to do this, but this is how it goes. With one hand she drew, all while dropping and diving under him. Coming up fast she faced him. "Just what I need, another guy who is obsessed with killing things." She faced him, circling while she slipped off the bag. "So, your not a normal one eh? I don't know what you are, yet. Come, can you face my blade?" Karen ignored the two others that had come, hoping he didn't turn on them.

Your a vampire with means I know how to kill you, but I know that you were once human. I also know you need people to survive, so you saved me for that very reason, wonderful maybe I wasn't that stupid after all. I pity you, because I know what you have become is not your fault, but the fault of another, it's not fair but it's how life goes isn't it?" Karen really didn't want a fight and the stupids over there were just watching and one of them for lands sakes WAS A FREAKEN KID! She circled him staying between the two and him.
