A sad look washed over her face for a moment. "Do you have any idea how we are gonna stop this and save them?" She pondered a moment. "Maybe we should spy on them for a bit, get to see what they normally do, maybe find something that way?"

Celesto nodded and said something to the boy in that flutey language. The boy grinned and started tugging on Celesto's arm, "Well Miss Elec, Miss Ana. We have a guide."

Ana nodded and gave the drome boy a wolfish, friendly smile.

((lol btw I figure we ought to be able to understand things here after a time too like all of it just... easier that way))
Elec nodded. "We'll I am ready. I think." She checked over the items she had, a gourd of water, a pouch with two fruit, and nothing else really. She went back over to where items where. The shaman happened to be in the area and eying her. Unlike the others he believed she'd be just as much help as anyone else and he wanted to make sure she had something to help her out. He tapped her on the shoulder and handed her a small golden cylinder. He showed her how to use this object, un hinging a small lever released a staff.
Elec smiled and thanked him adding this new item to a small leather belt she had on her. She looked over to Ana. "You ought to have something... even if you may not particularly need a weapon." She noted looking at Ana's claws.

Ana nodded and looked around for take with her. Suddenly, to her pleasant surprise, she found that she had regain her voice, although it was quite a bit more...gravelly than she was used to. "What do you think I should take?"

"Ha! that was quick Ana." She scratched her chin looking at what was offered upon the table. "Well you can hold something larger then I, I only have food and water enough for me. So maybe something like that? And well I don't know what do you need to have? A weapon may still be nice even if you don't use it as intended." Elec gestured to the spears and knives.

Ana looked over the selection and eventually chose a couple water skins, some food, a dagger with a serrated edge and a long, sturdy rope. "Alright, I think I'm ready."

Elec nodded "Alright then. Lead us." Before actually heading out though Elecd grabbed one last thing with her tail and placed it on her belt. A small knife, it would come in handy if she had to cut something, obviously, but she would have no other means of doing so otherwise.

The kid headed off to what appeared to be eastward and onto a what looked like an animal path. The trees and heat were both oppressive and thick and the flies swarmed around them, trying to bite. When they reached the outskirts of the Rhino people village the boy dropped to his knees and strted to crawl.
The village was more like a city with buildings and roads made out of stone. And everywhere you could see Rhino people with whips standing over peoples of other tribes, occasionally flogging them if they slowed even a little.

Elec swatted at a few flies trying to get em away from her to no effect. It was quite annoying but her fur stopped them from bitting, but didnt help much with the heat... a trade off. "This doesn't look good at all how can we stop them? We need some sort of leverage, and to permanently stop them, bashing skulls doesn't look like it's gonna work here."
Elec decided to get a better view and climbed to the top of a nearby tree, getting the full view of the large city. ((Anything in particular you had in mind that she'd see Kara?))

the only thing of interest Elec noticed was a damn not to far away. She slide back down the tree, hopping from branch to branch until she finally hopped onto Ana's back. Now worries though she wasn't that large and she was pretty dang light. "There's a damn on the other end of the city.. we might be able to use to our advantage... but we have to get the prisoners out first... maybe we should head back and give some time to think?"

Elec hopped down from Ana and looked up to Celesto. "That might work, but how are we gonna get em out without bein," She stopped speaking to swat at another fly or two buzzing in her face annoying the hell out of her. "seen." She finished.
