Cat smiled and laughed lightly. "Rasberry tea sounds good actually, I think I'd like some as well please." she told the waiter, still smiling. She looked back at Charles and tilted her head slightly. "Now what is it I should let you do?" she asked.

"I've forgotten, my dear, I'm sorry. I think I was about to say allow me to ease one decision from your mind. Let's think about what we're going to eat. This place is known for service, I doubt he'll take long with those drinks. Do you know what your getting?" The menu had a wide variety. It was only the best of the best of choices: popular, delicacies, fancy, exotic, and all you could possibly think of. It didn't have a lot of the more common things, though, so the menu was kept relatively a descent size.

Cat smiled and scanned over the menu. Some of the stuff she'd never heard of, but still sounded good. Finding something she had heard of though, and knew that she would like she decided. "Um, the Chicken parmesean sounds good."

An open one sided smile cracked. "Now way...That's what I was getting..." He gave a chuckle. "We're not so different, you and I." To the extent of which, he hid. He smiled again. "Chicken Parmesean sounds great!" Just as he finished, a cup was placed in front of him. "Very good, sir, and for the lady?" Rick's eyebrow lifted at the question. "Oh--same. Or that's what she said anyway."
"Good then, coming right up." The straws were left by the cups placed on the table. A rasberry tea and a straw for each of them, and soon enough, dinner. Before he headed off, he brought two salads and a selection of dressing to choose from. "That also comes with a side. We've got baked potato, sweet potato, fries..." He sighed. He somehow felt like slacking. "It's all potato, you're not new to this are you? It would make my job easier. Aside from potato products, there's apple sauce, or slices, and cole slaw, it's not new." He chuckled giving a brilliant smile.
"Hmm...Have any bakes apples? I'll take that."
"Indeed. And you?"

Cat raised a brow and smiled at the coincidence. "Really now." she blinked as the drinks were set in front of them. 'That was quick.' she moved and placed the straw in her drink and nodded as Charles gave teh waiter they're order.
She couldn't help but chuckle as teh waiter gave up on rattling off the sides. She always did wonder if that was tedious and annoying. "Fries please." she asked.

"Great choice, I'll bring it right out as soon as it's ready." The waiter went toward the back with the order. As soon as that was done, Rick realized how small the salad was by comparison. There was some of the finest brown bread on a wooden pattle with a knife, though the loaf was mostly already cut. "Well, this being small, we can guess one of two, or both, of the following. One, they're not going to take long with our dinners...Two, they're giving us a lot..." He gave a sort of almost nervous look at the thought. He began on the salad being just a bit hungry and impatient, but not fast as to preserve a sophisticated appearance. He was the kind that used a fork, and knife, for salads in such environment. A pause came. "I half expected you were going to get the apples, too." He smiled at her.

Cat smiled. "It sounded good, but fries seemed to balance out things in my mind." she took a bite of her salad. After swallowing she thought for a moment. "Maybe I'll make those for breakfast tomorrow." she thought aloud. "Caleb likes apples, so I think he'll like it."

"Ah, well normally when people indulge themselves on such a rare occasion, they don't think of balance, they think whatever would be good. Although, I admit, you don't want to have really bad aches or problems in the works the next day. But also on a different thought, the day could just be so good that the little bits like that wouldn't take it away. It's all in how you look at things, I suppose." He ate more of his salad. "How do you look at me, I wonder?"

Cat looked up from her salad at his question. She smirked. "Haven't I answered this one before, or am just anticipating it?" it was rhetorical question really and so followed it up with her response. "I look at you as a person that works for what he wants, but in away that looks either. I also look at you as a person that seems to plan things out so that everything falls into place."

"You're a bit off about that. I don't plan that perfectly, and my plans don't fall into place. There's always loose ends, and they stop the pieces from fitting. Missing pieces, too. I have general blueprints, but neither the confidence nor persistance to ensure the end result. I also submit blueprints with many errors sometimes, if that makes sense. I just skip by some imperfections rather than fixing them. Sometimes they're big, sometimes its not complete at all. It's rare that things go exactly my way, but I'm fine with it as long as in the end I can live up the dream. I see you as being content and standing up for injustices in the global world rather than your personal life. It's almost opposite me, huh?" Oh it was daring to say, but...Honesty was key.

"That seems like a pretty heavy load for a student." She explained. "I must of forgotten how hectic school can be. Your pretty spot on about me though, I'd gladly fight to help someone or stop something from happening that I know is wrong, without even thinking about the ramifications may be for me. I've done so on several occasions." she sipped her drink, thinking back to all the times she'd taken a package for HEC to the Faction HQ or side tracked a Uh's from going after people from HEC and starting a scene out on the street. 'I'm almost glad things calmed down.'

"Your meal, sirs" The plates were basically interchangable, being the same. It was as big as Rick expected. Next came the sides, the first difference of the night, fries to him and apples to her. "Just kidding," he switched hands and placed them properly. A bout of humor, but in a dry way. Rick chuckled. "Enjoy"
'Oh thank you very much. You saved me from an embarassing monologue.' He thought. "Well then, I guess we sum it up at it's part of learning, and part of life. And eating is a part of life, too--I've learned that this parmesean smells so good I could just stick my head right in there!" He began eating, still refraining from being a pig or embarassing himself.

Cat smirked as he started to repeat the line again, then looked up as teh waiter came with the food. It smelled delicious, and she was glad she hadn't finished her salad or ate any bread, it left room for the actual meal. "It does smell delicious." She smiled and tried a piece, happy to find it just as good as it smelled if not better.

Rick let out a sort of groan upon swallowing it, purely out of pleasure. "It is so good...Wow." He started on his side of apples next, finding they did just as good of a job. Cinamon, and thick syrup to go with it, just like a Boston Market, only much, much better ((if that's even possible, lol)). A good tip was going to be needed for sure.

"My compliments to the chef, hands down." Cat took another bite and smiled. She eyed the fries for a moment, wondering if they tasted any better then other fries she'd had. Currently she quite happy with the chicken.
