"It does? I never really thought about it before" Perhaps.. she thought. She shrugged it off and looked to the skies, it seemed to be darkening slightly and she had yet to fetch her lunch or dinner yet. "You wouldn't happen to know a good place to get catch a quick meal, would you?" she asked. It would be soon and it was usually better to get her hunting done before the sun went down. Her white fur usually gave her spot away like a white beacon.

"Uhhh..." She looked around, not being one of the best hunters so she wasn't exactly one of the greatest people to ask if they knew a good place to hunt from a bad place. "Oh wait! There should be a some stream somewhere nearby, with some fish in it..." She recalled passing one once, and it seemed to extend pretty far. How hard can fishing be? She's seen a couple ulayas do it before.

Fishing.. hmm "I haven't been in a while, but with the two of us it shouldn't be too hard." Kalista nodded and started leading the way till she remembered she wasn't quite sure which way they were headed. "Lead the way and i'll be glad to follow" she all but purred.

Victoria laughed, "alright then." Nodding she headed in the direction that most made sense. She twitched her ears happily, as she was right. Faintly she could hear the sound of water rushing past pebbles and stones, carry all sorts of things along with it. Like fish~! Hopefully they wouldn't be teeny tiny though, 'cause then trying to catch them wouldn't be worth it.

Kalista's ears twitched at the sound of running water. She continued followed Victoria until the stream came into view and she took the lead and glanced over the edge to get a look at what they were working with. A fairly good amount of fish swished around, they just might be able to catch something worth while. "Well here goes" She slowly waited into the water, careful not to scare ALL the fish away. "Slow and careful" she whispered to victoria as she waited for the fish to get used to her presence.

Victoria blinked as she sat next to Kalista. She looked at the sky, good for them the sun was on the other side of the stream, so their shadows could not be seen by the fish. She looked back down at the stream and waited for the right chance. Come on, fishiesfishiesfishies... She tried to control her paw, whom was trigger happy and tried to jump the gun every five seconds.

Wait for it, wait for it Her paw inched closer and closer to her target, the fish seemed oblivious to her which good for her. "Now!" She accidentally shouted aloud as she swiped the water with her paw, not knowing where the splash would eventually end up. But she had missed her catch. Kalista sighed and looked over at Victoria and grinned. She just needed to get her groove back, that was all, she could do this.

Victoria suppressed her laughter, "nice..." She had a feeling though she won't do much better. She saw a fish swim by and she swiped her paw at it as Kalista had done. She sighed seeing she failed, before pouting. Picking up a stone she threw it at one of the fish in frustration. To her surprise the fish's tail actually got caught under the stone. She blinked, staring at it, wondering what to do... If she didn't catch it quick it was going to squirm free soon.

Kalista groaned her Victoria then gave a smuge smiled when she missed her fish too. "you too." She hadn't noticed she caught the fish by the tail because she was concentrating on her next 'victim'. It was big, with a good sized stomach, a perfect catch. Only if she could catch it.
She decided to try a different route, she inched closer like before except when she got close enough, she pounced on it, digging her claws into her pray. Her fur and hair had gotten soaked but she caught something. "yes!" Her claws flexed on it, it was rough, not soft like it should be. The sand in the water slowly cleared revealing she had caught something, a rock. "What the..." she grumbled releasing it and left out a soft huff.

Victoria looked around and saw a thin stick. Perfect... Picking it up she quickly stabbed the fish, picking it out of the water. "Ha! Victory is for Victoria! FEAR ME, FISH!" She plopped it a little ways away and groomed her paws a little, before going back to concentrating on fishing. Probably not going to get lucky like that again... She thought sadly, hoping though that they will both suddenly magically improve and catch many more..

Kalista lifted her head to notice Victoria pull a fish from the water, scud on a stick. How the hell..? she opened her mouth to say something, then closed it quickly. She had to admit she was good, even if it was luck, or it could be that Kalista herself was a horrible fisher. She shook her head at the thought. "How did you manage that one?" she said with both amusement and jealousy hinted in her voice. Oops. what is wrong with me? She didn't mean to sound so.. envious, but in a way she was. She changed her tone as she responded again, this time sounding a bit cooler. "I mean, how did you catch it on a stick."

"Luck basically..." Victoria said, abandoning the stick, "I threw a rock into the water and a fish got stuck under it, so, yeah..." She wondered, perhaps if they put some kind of fish food at the end of a stick maybe they could trick the fish into getting caught. She picked up the stick again and looked around to see if there was anything around fish liked to eat... "...What do fish eat?"

Kalista shook her head and smiled sheepishly. She just couldn't believe this female had such luck. "Your a lucky charm I guess." she said giving Victoria a wink.
"Bugs I think" She raised her brow slightly at that. "Why do you ask?" what could she be planning? Slowly making her way next to her, she looked over her shoulder at the fish that sat on the bank, then back at Victoria and shook her head slightly with a smile spread over her features.

"Well, I always get what I want most of the time so I guess my conscious or which-a-ma-call-it isn't going to let that change now.~" Victoria grinned, "and now let's test that theory..." Seeing an insect crawled by she stabbed it with the stick, making a grotesque face at the crunchy-squish sound it had made. Getting over a slight shiver she sighed and stuck the end of the stick with the bug on it into the water and waited, hoping that her plan might work. "If this doesn't work I'll try another insect..." She mumbled, not looking too forward to that.

(*feels bad* i knew i was missing one i just couldnt find it xD)
As the wind blew once more, Kalista wiped her hair from her face and watched as Victoria made the preparations for her next fishing attempt. A big at the end of a stick. Seemed straight to the point. She gave a little nod of her head and stilled herself and waited for the unsuspecting fish to be attracted by the bait. "Very good idea.."
