...Doesn't he actually say something at some point...?
Maybe I'm just crazy, afterall, I haven't actually read much of the manga in awhile... At least not Captains parts... but... I swear he did... or at least I DO remember some hype in the fandom about "Oh, Captain CAN speak" or something...
Perhaps that hype was just because people where getting confused when Major is talking in the background in several captain scenes...?
Since I really cannot remember any words coming from our little mute, but I do remember a big fuss from alot of people about him talking...
*bangs head against wall*
....That's probably it, it was probably idiot-hype and confusion while Major was talking....Still... =/
Ah well,
Dita is right, we still need a VA to roar, and snarl, and grunt.

There have been a couple times when the Major's speech boxes have been mistaken for the Captain's, but the Captain never actually speaks. He doesn't even open his mouth, most of the time, so I don't think we'll be hearing much grunting, either, if any at all.

You know, he could actually be completely mute, and wouldn't have any sounds to make...Huh, reminds me of a duck my grandmother used to have...
It'll be a challenge for the fight scenes, that's for sure, if they can't have him making any noises at all. They'll have to focus on other sound effects to give things more life....

They just couldn’t do that. Fans would be greatly confused. They can’t have a werewolf Captain making no sound in a fight scene. It would be weird and look stupid.
There’s a reason why they create explosions and sounds in space. Movies look silly without it.
I’m quite confident that Captain is going to make sounds, and fans are going to exploit it in their comedy AMV 3nodding

The cast of OVA V has been posted on the official site. The voice actors for Seras and Pip aren't listed, so OVA will probably cover the last chapters of Volume 5 and the majority of Volume 6 (meaning that the battle at the Hellsing mansion won't happen until OVA VI). The cast includes: Alucard Integra Young Integra (for Penwood's flashback) Walter Sir Penwood Anderson Heinkel (whose voice actor is female) Yumie The Major The Doctor Schrödinger Zorin There are also supporting actors for Nazi soldiers, Penwood's comrades, civilians, and Willis.

That's very nice. If I couldn't wait for OVA V before, it's become infinitely more difficult now. whee
lol On October 24th I'll be shooting pumpkins full of glow-in-the-dark paint at a dimly lit indoor shooting range to celebrate Halloween. Now I'll be thinking of Hellsing as I fire away (not that I haven't been thus far). mrgreen
