Zife opened his eye after the Dark enigma was formed for some reason he passed out. The Zireath’s vision was blurry and he could hardly make out the figures, but he was able to see that there was one more person among them. Zife focused on the figure his vision starting to clear up, and then he recognized her. . . . “Thrais . . . Thrais!” Zife shouted, despite all the pain corseting through his body he quickly got to his feet, his right arm hanging unable to move.
The Keywielder held out his left hand and summoned Freedom. “You b*****d!” Zife screamed as he flew at Asmodeus, before he could get to the murderous man a hand quickly grabbed the blond by the neck and through him back against the railing. “You shall . . . not . . . interfere.” The figure said in a low snarl, it began to walk towards Zife Forbidden held at his side.
Zife slowly got to his feet, his breathing was laboured but he stood ready. Suddenly the figure shoot forward and swung his blade in a wide arch, Zife was able to quickly bring Freedom up in time and block the attack. The dark enigma smirked with his free he griped Zife by his neck and through him over his shoulder, then turned around and dove he came at Zife in a furious whirl, his blade dipping and diving, slicing at every angle. It took al Zife’s might to just block the attacks; he could not find the strength to parry a single blow. The Keywielder body was torn cuts riddled his body the only thing keeping him going was sure will.

The final door was finally in front of Prinz, and as he moved his hands to slowly push the doors open he couldn't help but shake in fear. What really lay behind this door? With the little strength he had, he pushed the white doors open, and the final room was revealed. There in corner of the room fought Zife...Fighting a losing battle. To another corner stood the terrifying Asmodeus with the final key in his grasps. And in the center of the room lay the weaver. She was motionless, and there was no life energy emitting from her body. At the sight of his beloved, Prinz's heart felt like it was withering away, but he ignored it. The chaser made his way to the weaver's body, and once he was there he slumped to his knees.
His heart sank in despair as he stroked Thrais' lifeless body. Soon his vision began to blur with wetness.
Was this really happening? Was this what the Chasers faced? Oblivion?
The body was already cold, and all Prinz could do was lay his head down next to the weaver's body. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled almost inaudibly. "I'm sorry..." he repeated, then repeated again. Hot tears ran down his face. Tears he could not control. Soon, he was screaming out in pain. "Ahhhhhh!" He felt sick. Angry. Uncontrollable. Despair. He couldn't move from his position, no, he would rather die then get revenge.

Syric stood some paces away from Prinz and Thrais's lifeless body. He silently watched the scene, emphasizing with the devastated young man. The loss of that dearest someone was world-shattering, the blond man knew that all too well. He felt a lash to his heart as he looked upon the wing weaver's corpse; after all, it was her words that had stopped Syric from bleeding to death. Beyond that depressing scene stood Asmodeus, holding the final mini-key in his damned fingers! His head then swiveled toward Zife. The powerful commander of the Chasers seemed to be fighting to his death, against a darker version of himself no less.
Even though his voice was lost in the transformation, Syric tried to scream out in defiance. This isn't right! The Order could not win! Failure came too quickly!
But, no matter how hard the holy knight strained, all that came out was a silent breath.

~~ The power of the Martyr... is this the path you choose?~~
~~ A miracle in midst of pain~~
~~Your path is set~~
"Child of the sky, servant of the light, dove among the falcons, listen..." "For what you do now, you have been waiting all your life, "
"For right now, for this very moment when you choose to give of yourself all that you have ever been and can ever hope to be, for the sake of those you love, and there is no greater love, no greater death than this."
"Now go be a hero, little cousin. We'll save a spot by the fire for you." "...I'm Ready..."
The body of the weaver though cold and lifeless looked somehow peacful. Her skin looked brighter then usual.... and that brightness grew. Within moments that radiance became an obvious illumination that flared beneath her skin like sunlight beneath the surface of water. Her form turned transparent. Tiny lines of whispy light seemed to unravel from her body and spred out like spools coming undone... the Threads. The threads of her body. The one and the same ones she always talked about, the threads she saw and used every step of their way here. The weavings of her form were loosening at the sems, like she were a tapestry and someone was pulling at the design. With every moment she looked less and less like a solid shape and more ghostly.
Then with one last precious moment, as her beloved wept at her side, the tiniest whisper of the heart was heard with his name, on lips that didn't move. Yet she was glad, a tear so clear and bright dripped from her lashes... And she was gone.
With a flash of brilliance her body ignited in a flurry of dispersing threads and feathers that snaked into the air ran about flooding and seeking each and every member. Like a wave of her presence it reached them all, and with it a suddenly wamrth, like an embrace fomr the inside, carrying with it an image of a smile and soft endearing words of encouragment.
'... Take from me... all of me... ..turn my strength... into your strength... ....my life... into your power.... ... for I love you... ...and my heart follows your footsteps. All of you. Always.'

Zife watched as Prinz collapsed, the blond broke his promise. He didn’t protect Thrais he let both of them down how could he face his friend now. The enigma found his opening, Zife’s mind wasn’t focused on the battle at hand his dark side kicked the Keywielder in the gut; Zife flew a couple feet and slid to a stop beside Sophia. “Sophia I failed.” He muttered. It was then that Zife felt something a small feather fell into his hand; it gave off comforting warmth. “Thrais.” Zife whispered and clenched the feather he felt energy serge through his body. “No I haven’t failed, not yet, I still have a chance.” Asmodeus ignored the arrival of the other Chasers; he was only focused on one thing opening Kingdom Hearts. The dark master walked close to the edge and held his arms up like he was embracing the giant moon-like heart “Awaken Kingdom Hearts grant me the power the truly deserve!” Asmodeus shouted, a sinister smile spread across his lips. In front of Asmodeus all the Mini keys materialized, all at once they shot towards Kingdom Hearts and a simultaneous unlocking sound echoed through the island. Asmodeus gripped the Oathkeeper and smirked and now for the final Key, but something unexpected happened The Oathkeeper min Key released a bright light. “What!? What’s happening.” He screamed dropping the key shielding his eyes from the bright light. Zife slowly stood up, “That light, Thrais.” The blond could feel he being her heart and Soul.

Syric felt the warmth, heard the words inside his head. He stood like a statue, feathers gathering on his shoulders "A sacrifice that will not be in vain." The powerful man wanted to say, but could not.
His charge started off slow, one foot in front of the other. Once he broke into a full run, an amazing feet for someone so armored, Syric leveled his heavy lance at Asmodeus. Letting out a silent roar, the powerful man rushed in to skewer the epitome of evil.

The mini Key glowed like it was on fire, power burning from inside so feircly it seemed to sing the ground it fell upon. The light grew until something burst from it and that warmth in Zifes hand grew stronger. The warmth upon Syrics shoulder grew stronger as well, as did that feeling that reach everyone else.
The light then glinted off of something that began to materialize in Zife's hand. Intricate lines of threading fusing and taking form until a solid hilt formed in his hand. From that hilt followed more of it's shape, until woven from this golden light... ...was Thrais's sould blade.
The Albus Anima. With it somehow they all felt Thrais smile in triumph from where she was... at each of their side.

Asmodeus cursed under his breath, and slowly regained his vision just in time to catch the sight of Syric charging towards him, “No, this isn’t over!” The Dark Master shouted, he raised his hand creating a dark barrier which stopped Syric in his tracks. “I will have the power of Kingdom Hearts!” Asmodeus ran and scooped up the Oathkeeper, which was known just a normal mini key. Thrais heart and soul where released from the key it was now just a key, to be used to unlock Kingdom Hearts. Asmodeus spread his demon-like appendages and took flight towards Kingdom Hearts. “It will be mine!” he screamed throwing the key this time a loud unlocking sound was heard and a door appeared in front of the giant heart that would lead Asmodeus to its center.
Zife stood speechless, he finally smirked and watched Asmodeus’s retreating figure. “Thank-you Thrais, and I’m sorry, I’ll be seeing you soon.” The key-wielder whispered gripping Albus Anima, he dismissed Freedom and bent over and scooped Sophia into his arms, then ran over to Prinz and Syric.
“Syric can you do me a favour and watch her please, Prinz get the others and go now!” Zife told Prinz, handing Sophia over to Syric. “And I’m deeply sorry, but I have a feeling if we do this right we can bring her back.” Zife lamented, he summoned Freedom and spread his wings and chased after Asmodeus into the core of Kingdom Hearts. The door opened and Asmodeus flew in followed by the blond Keywielder.

The warmth that Thrais left behind had completed enveloped him, and it was then that he felt his heart regain it's strength. The pain in his right arm also disappeared. His whole body felt light, but that didn't mean he was healed. Thrais was still gone. Her warmth, her strength, and her words meant so much to him, "Please, don't go." he whispered, covered his tear struck face. "Don't leave me alo-" he stopped. He wasn't alone...No, far from it. All his friends were still here, and he knew they would always be there in his heart, but he didn't want to let go of Thrais. Prinz stood up, "Zife...Be careful." he said with crestfallen face. He wanted to wish his comrade luck, but he couldn't bring himself to smile yet. He believed in his leader, he truly did, and he did not resent him in any way.
The key wielder would wait for everyone to arrive onto the final floor before making his next move. He didn't plan on leaving the world, no, he couldn't leave knowing that Kingdom Hearts had been opened. He would wait until the door was closed.

After slamming into the barrier created by Asmodeus, the stubborn ex-assassin could only watch as the Dark Master flew off into Kingdom Hearts. He moved back to Prinz, a look of rage and despair behind his faceplate.
Syric nodded to Zife and dropped his spear in order to cradle the young woman in his armored arms. His knight facade dispersed abruptly, like hundreds of golden fireflies disturbed by a strong wind. He was his normal self again, with his light blond hair, blue eyes, gray long coat, and even his voice. "Good luck, Zife." He said, holding Sophia like a fragile china doll.

Vice comes running through the door from Naught's Approach, panting from lack of breath "Where's........Zife?" he says, looking around frantically and noticing the door, then walking over to Prinz "they went through, didn't they?" he says to the Key wielder, sheathing his blades and unbuttoning his collar "I only wish I had gotten here sooner, that way I could have stopped them from ever having to go into that kingdom" he says, a mixed look of anger and happiness on his face as he turns his head to the door "Zife, don't you die in there" he says, sitting down on the floor and smiling

Jon was barely a blur by the time he reached the final level, burning the magical energy out of the ship around him to speed his ascent-
But too late.
He stood silent over Prinz in pure silence, seeing in a single moment all that had transpired just seconds before. The battle, the betrayal, Thrais' final offering.
It felt so...familiar.
Jon closed his mismatched eyes, the light draining from his body as he sank to his knees.
Struggle. Betrayal. Loss. Over and over, everywhere he looked.
No wonder Gabriel had gone mad.
He could hear the echo of Thrais' voice in the depths of his heart, he could feel her power, and as he opened his eyes again, for the first time he saw.
He saw everything.
Beyond every physical shape, he could see the Pattern. He could see the threads of light that bound the Chasers one with another, heart to heart. He could see the dark trail left by Asmodeus' flight through the door into Kingdom Hearts. He could see every heart within those doors, every living person connected to the Heart of All Light. He could see the faces of all those who had given everything to keep it safe. Generations of guardians, entire armies. Every champion of Light, from the first Keymaster down through the ages. Terra. Sora. Gabriel. Athrais.
And he could see what lay in store if they failed to defeat Asmodeus there.
"No....no more."
Jon forced himself to his feet, the glow of his power flowing from blue to red to searing white, energy cascading down the threads from his heart to the other Chasers, hastening their climb and strengthening them. Slowly, he put his hand on Prinz' shoulder. "Prepare yourself. We cannot let Master Zife fight alone. When the others arrive...we finish this together."

Maki dashed up the stairs, speeding through the previous corridors by using her wind to amp up her speed. She was in through the door just a second behind Jon.
She wanted to scream but clasped her hands over her mouth, tears welling up in her eyes from the loss of Thrais. Mixed feelings of anger were being overwhelmed by emotions of sorrow.
But along the wind of spirits, she could hear Thrais's voice as the others did as well. She whipped her eyes against her arm and took several deep breathes. Preparing for a battle in store. She walked to Prinz and stood behind him and Jon. "I'm ready." She said firmly, clutching her fists and trying to hold the tears back.

"if you're thinking of going into Kingdom Hearts, too bad" Vice says, rising from his sitting position a few feet from Prinz "the only ones who can survive in there are those with enough power to cut down anything in their path" he says, his eyes starting to tear up "but that's not going to stop us, now, is it?" he says, drawing his black sword and placing the tip of it on the ground, both his hands on the handle, and a wide grin on his face "I don't know about you guys, but I'm going in there to help our Leader"

"As much as we want to, I don't think we should take part in this battle. It's Zife's fight." Maki said, as frustrating as it was to her.
