Since this is the place to talk about era's I personally think the 80's were the best LOL great music (poison, twisted sister, scandal,10,000 maniacs, white snake and so many others), awesome clothes and really big hair rofl . I know most of the movies were corny but hey one day they might become classics LOL

I voted for "depends" cuz a movie based on a book can only be good if the director is a fan of the book and is also a good director. Take Peter Jackson and Chris Columbus. They took the plot of the books and made good movies out of them. I've heard that there have been flops like Eragon for example. I've never read the book so when i saw the movie I thought it was alright. Then a friend told me that the movie sucked cuz it wasn't as good as the book. Go figure...

That's right. I hear Kiss is one of those bands that doesn't seem to go out of style.

It's not just kizz but bon jovi, rem and alot more that people are still listening to, they were are the great bands of the 80's LOL "like totally" that is the only thing i don't miss if that valley girl talk.
I have yet to see a movie based on a book that was anywhere near as good as the book, they always disappoint me every time so now when I hear a movie is coming out based on a book I don't read the book until after I see the movie

Of course! Kiss is the only band that I could think of at the time of my post. mrgreen
You know, I think that's a good strategy. I've been able to read very little so I've always used it myself, he-he.

Well it's kind of annoying if you listen to it a lot, but it is kind of funny.
