With a final twist Katya got off her brother. "Hope you learned something." She hauled him up after and picked up her hammer.
"We should probably go put out the fire and put the armor away properly..."

Katya started chatting as the infamous dup went back to the forge and cleaned up.
"So Katie has been mooning after Nick and he has no idea cause he likes Anna. And Anna has a ginourmous crush on Katie's twin brother Joey. It's like a circle of weirdness and I can't believe Kay got herself involved. I mean, Kay's always been smart and independent but now she's all..." Katya shuddered at her best friend's apparent weirdness.
"So that about covers the youth of this place... Did you hear that Merie Baker is pregnant??"
Feeling slightly bipolar, Katya squealed.

((I have missed so much. >_<' I blame tests and misc idiots called students.))
Far off in Begnion, a wild man was thinking.
Thinking about life and its trivialities, as well as its uselessness. The man's red eyes were not weary, no, they were full of deceit and intelligence. Crafty intelligence. He blew his light green hair out of his eyes, and stood, the tome he was reading closed itself.
"Commander Carnicones! We have received orders to move out, sir." The loud young man broke the Commander's train of thought.
"What have i said about bursting in loudly?" Carnicones growled, glaring at the young man.
"I-I'm sorry, forgive me!" The man cried, dropping to his knees, holding out an envelope.
"Wretched youth." Carnicones snatched the letter from the man's hands, and turned away while opening the yellowing paper.

Back on the farm Lee was busy watering the cattle. After that she and Kari were working the unploughed ground. She was doing the typical singing random song while walking behind the plow. Soon were would be planting and harrowing, and weeding and well life would come again to the farm. Soal was digging in the fresh ground. "Soal! Git!" She flicked the the whip at him and off he went barking at something or other. "Well I named him right." She sighed and whisted to call him back. He did in fact come back, with a live rabbit in his jaws. "You prat!" She laughed and let him walk off, welcome to life on the farm.

((I almost died. It was awful. But fun in a twisted way.))
The letter was unexpected.
Bultair,
Take your men and carve a swath out of Crimea.
Burn the farms, kill the people. We will show them what it
means to fear. We will have blood. Annihilate any that come in your way...
Bultair didn't bother finishing the letter, he knew what he must do if he were to be provided with subjects. Let none escape. "Get up, you sniveling coward, and ready the men. We move at sunrise."

So as night fell another day on the farm was over... or was it? Actually Lee was on Kari, doing some target practice. Tomorrow at early dawn she would go on the final hunting trip of the year and check on the sap. There would be no meat until winter, and Lee wanted to be ready. She practiced some lance too, just for fun. Then set to work whittling arrows while Kari gazed in front of the house and Soal was sleeping beside her. The night was calm as was most other nights. You could hear the stock in the barn but other then that all you heard was crickets.

Needless to say, the men hauled butt to get ready before Bultair. He had a habit of burning the slow soldiers with his magic. That's right, isn't it? We haven't discussed this yet.
Well, Bultair was a master of Light magic. Shocking, isn't it? Well, there is a reason why he isn't a Saint. A Light Arch Sage is, after all, no way connected to the gods. Just the Light magic.

Katya threw Gael a dirty glance. "Just because you don't WANT to know where your next child-watching paycheck is coming from, doesn't mean I won't tell you. Anyways... Your little friend, what's his face, has yet to get me my money for that sword lesson. Tell him to move it or I'll go to his mommy!"

"YOU WORM!! YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO DO THAT!! You are so not getting ANYTHING on your next birthday!!" A wrench flew at Gaelin's head.
Followed by a hammer.
Followed by a piece of armor that had melted together with another piece of metal YEARS ago and sat in a corner for the rest of it's time before being picked up and thrown.
Katya was running out of things to throw so she stormed out of the forge, puncing him on the shoulder as she left.
"Stupid head..."

Katya lit the arrow on fire.
Flaming arrows were insanely fun.
The author would like to make it clear that Katya is not a pyro...
She fired it into the river and the stick go down the river...
"I need something to actually light on fire!"
