I think I lost any accent I had when I moved to the US at 10 years of age... I do find that I use the British spellings though, more frequently than the American...

If i mix American with some Northern Floridian..... I can really pull off an accent. And, I find the world "yall" very convenient, because you don't have to say "you all" so it's like "yall better listen up" vs. "you all better listen up" which is better? I find the "yall" one better, but that's just me. And, I do say "aloominum". Now how do you like that for a Southern Floridian?

I am from the mid-west U.S. and travelled to Winnipeg, Manitoba a couple summes ago. Really no difference in language except about a third to half the signs had French counterparts. That was fun practice for my French skills, or lack there of.

Personaly I can tell the difference between Australian, stereotypical Canadian and a British accent. Within Britian, I can tell a urban accent from a rural cockney, but I wouldn't push it further than that.

I think it's the 'proper' (as in formal, regal, traditional) London accent I like listening to the most.

It's fun the hear a black man with a British accent.

Sounds like hearing a white girl talk like she's from the ghetto here in the US. A natural thing as where you live doesn't depend on race, but still against the stereotype and so fun to take note of.

I'm a londoner but I don't have a cockney accent or anything. I don't have a real distinctive accent... I'm just British...

I'm in a small band so we have some basic recording equipment, and my voice is very strange when I hear it like everyones is.
