sweatdrop Well, I for one didn't like it when sometimes you were forced to have nimrods in your party, I kinda wish you could have chosen who your party leader was gonna end up as when Cloud is kicked out of the party, I wish you could choose who runs around.
But the one thing I really cannot stand right now, is the way that most of you people are refering to the character "MODELS". They are not sprites. They are models, it took the creators time to make the models, and they deserve to be referred to as models. Not Sprites. Sprites are completely two dimensional projections. Models you can look at from any side, including top corners, and there will be a difference everywhere. sweatdrop FFVI FFIV FFV FFIII FFII FFI all of them used sprites. There is a mighty big difference between sprites and models. You cannot do nearly as many truly amazing things with sprites as you can with models. sweatdrop

s0ul caper~ Due to the fact that you're in this guild, it is probably obvious that you are an FFVII fan. I know that I love FFVII more than any other FF game. But what are some things that you didn't like about it? I couldn't stand a lot of things. -Your teamates go inside of you when you're not battling or in a cut scene. - Cait Sith. gonk -FFVII didn't show the item "tent" being used and it just worked like a potion. -having characters that you can't stand forced into your team for an amount of time. not really flaws but ok...

WE MUST KNOW MORE ABOUT TEH VINCENT scream lol, that would be fun...i never got the point of having the name "1/35 soldiers" if you can't collect and combine them....and since they didn't give out much information about vince, they made a whole new game about him!! biggrin but anyway, one word: Corneo.

chibi_kaeru_chan lol, that would be fun...i never got the point of having the name "1/35 soldiers" if you can't collect and combine them....and since they didn't give out much information about vince, they made a whole new game about him!! biggrin but anyway, one word: Corneo. Hell yes... That was a major flaw.
Characters- Well, Cait Sith was useful in certain situations, but most of his limit breaks depended on luck instead of timing. Didn't like that much, seeing as I couldn't really get about half of his breaks (Slots).
Yuffie- Cute as hell, but annoying as well. I didn't much think of her as a ninja... kinda more like a thief.

Like Vincent and Taylor mentioned earlier, running around as whatever character you damn well please that's currently in your party would have made the game fantastic. But you know what would have made that idea even more interesting?
The NPC's reactions to the current lead character. As in, if I were to walk in the Weapons shop in Midgar on the third or second disc after getting the Key to Sector Five with Tifa in the lead, the scenario would play out as such...:
Tifa: May I see your weapons?
Weapons Dealer: Sure thing, miss. What would you like? *shop menu opens, and you do stuff*
Where as if I were to walk in with Nanaki as my lead character, things would be a tad different...:
Nanaki: May I see your weapons?
Weapons Dealer: eek OMGWTFBBQ!!!ELEVENTYONE!!1!111 IT SPOKETH TO MEH!!! eek eek eek eek eek eek
Nanaki: I'm not an 'it,' I'm a male, thank you very much. Now how about those weapons?
Weapons Dealer: eek ... Sure thing, buddy... (Damn it, I need a good drink...) *shop menu opens, and you do stuff*
You know, NPC's, be they shopkeepers or just people wandering around aimlessly, should react to each individual lead character differently. The guy NPC's might make a comment about Tifa, Aerith, or Yuffie looking rather 'nice' whereas characters like Vincent and Cid are bound to bring about an entirely different reaction. Things like this would add a greater depth to the game, don't you all think? 3nodding

Yuffie- Cute as hell, but annoying as well. I didn't much think of her as a ninja... kinda more like a thief. I got her before I went into that town place and I had to fight a boss without materia...But it still got pwned.

Haha, it would be funny to see different reactions from NPC's for Cait Sith too. "OMGEEZERS, RABID LION! *runs around flailing arms and screaming*
I hate Cait Sith. x.x
Haha, Corneo was funny.
And I agree about being able to move around as anyone you wanted. Hell, I'd run around humming the batman theme and making Vincent spin in circles. xD The Batman theme was the first thing that came to my head...
I wanted to kidnap Reno from the Turks into my group. But that would kinda... go against plot, wouldn't it? I liked the Turks. D:
Actually, when I play FF7 sometimes my backround dies on me. It gets all "SXKWVKJMCKQEGKQEMNM" with Cloud standing in the middle of it. Then I just wish then next Battle will fix it. Which it usually does. Anyone else get that?
The conversations were stange sometimes. I didn't want to say either choice I had for alot of things.
