Nooo Balthea!!! sad The way you put it is so sad! NOO! I don't like that everyone gets dispersed into the Lifestream!!! sad
But wait, isn't Aeris exempt from that since she's a Cetra? In The Maiden, though not canon, does illustrate how Aeris is able to travel the Lifestream easily and call upon the souls of the dead. It's left to your imagination but I still believe that Zeris has eternity together, conscious and all. smile

"I have in my hands the means, and in my heart, the will." I don't know... the end of Maiden to me implied that Aeris simply faded away into the Lifestream, but she still lived on through the planet. (totally didn't satisfy me. I like to imagine Zack and Aeris =possibly Sephy= all floating around in an ocean of green sparkles and having fun picking on Cloud. XD )

Well, even if we don't refer to the Maiden, it can't be denied that Aeris may be exempt since the end of FFVII shows her leading the Lifestream. Perhaps she has been dispersed into the Lifestream but has the Cetra abilities. I don't know. I prefer The Maiden's perspective of the Lifestream.

Aeris is still sentient from FFVII to AC, but eventually, like her mother, she'll have to absorb herself into the lifestream. It's sad, but it's the way of things. She wouldn't want to disobey the way things are meant to be. Though, her soul will always be with Zack's, that's something I can feel good saying. They just won't be sitting around chatting about how big Cloud's hair has gotten. XP

I think there's better Cloti evidence but yes, the way he looks at her is very adorable. And also yes, AC ending proves that even if Maiden was canon, Zack and Aeris are together in the end and they are acting like a couple and practically flirting with injured Cloud right in front of them. It's also very good proof that Cleris makes absolutely no sense.

You'll find things are very much settled. There are just people who deny what the creators have said to be true.
Though... there's a very good chance for another game, considering that DoC ends setting up for another game.

Even when I watched the movie for the first time, I assumed that Cloud and Tifa wound up together while Aeris and Zack did. But yes, people like to argue still.
