Michael and the knights are the best come and go characters. their not in every book but when their in it its awesome.
Thomas would be a great character if Butcher got over his puritanical values.
Murphy is overrated.
Molly is underused.
Ramirez is a walking cliche.

Okay, I finally read Small Favor and I still like Lara and Ramirez and Thomas and Harry best, but Ivy comes in at a very close fifth.

Harry has such a great attitude, so positive and upbeat (he says sarcastically). But Harry makes the series fun and interesting. Unlike Anita Blake or other characters who had their series of novels devolve into sex rather than stay with the stories.

I voted for harry but my fvorite is Ivy she is the bomb... literaly is you piss her off XD i just like the way she is so tough and hardcore then when she sees a cat she goes in to little girl mode its so cute plus she could whoop all of the others characters asses.XD

My fave characters are
Harry Dresden: he is a smart a** wizard who is good at what he does and always keeps cool under pressure.
Karrin Murphy: She can kick a** woman who can take down anything. She is smart and can keep up with Harry's shenanigans.
Bob: THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS bob the skull. He is helpful to harry but is very perverted which makes it all the more fun to say bob is awesome.
Molly Carpenter: Girl who never needs introductions cause her clothes pretty much shows she is a rebel. She does show signs of being a good wizard but has her stages where she doesnt want to do as harry says but she does what he says anyways.
Charity Carpenter: that woman is a surprise to all. She shows more then anyone ever believed and she can take down anything with a swing of a heavy axe. She is awesome mother and awesome fighter.
Micheal Carpenter: What is there to say but he is fun and has his ways of working. He is caring and great father and all around friend.
Thomas Raith: a incubus vamp who loves but never wants to lose him self to him self. He is just as much of a smart a** as harry but he keeps his remarks to a minimum.
Mouse: Big, loving, powerful, foo dog who protects harry every way he can. And understands harry and reacts to each of harry's smart a** remarks.
Ebenezar McCoy: Caring man to harry and always there for him.
Mab: Queen of the Winter Court and godmother to harry. She is icy cold and great to meet when she shows her self. She has her moments of anger but she keeps cool all the time. She is an evil character but she isnt deadly evil just scary which makes me laugh cause of how harry reacts to her.
ok so what im saying is i have fave things out of each character from the books and i cant help but choose them all ill post my other opinions on the others if you want hehe but this is what i have for some of them.

Harry, simply because I am exactly like him in almost every way, except I'm a few inches shorter, and I don't have the Blue beetle, or mouse.... yet... They will be mine, oh yes, they will be mine.
I mean, I'm like him down to the shitty relationships and the inability to stop being an insufferable wiseass.

Galad Damodred Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, I love Murphy and Michael and Charity and Molly, too. And Shiro and what's-his-name, the Russian fellow. Ooh, and Luccio. Oh, and Lily, and Maeve, and Mab! The Mothers, as well. I like Fix, too, but I like him better during Dead Beat than Summer Knight. Oh, and Bob! Can't forget Bob! Oh, and I absolutely loved Kumori! Her name means "fog, mist, cloud" in Japanese, y'know! Actually, there's no characters that I don't like. Except Morgan and the Merlin. Assholes. Oh, and Madrigal, the twit. And Cesarina Malvora, who creeps me out. And Bianca, who was icky and just plain mean. I may not like Morgan or The merlin much but I understood why they were that way and after reading turn coat I actually like morgan. But the ending of turncoat of soooo sad!
