"Well, have you made a move? Have you asked him out or told him you like him at all, god helps those who help themselves," said Sera feeling slightly like she was gaining an enemy. If she kept this up nai would probably end up hating her!
"I suppose but why not just cook better food," he said finally looking up, "Look I think your hot." He said this so quickly that he wasn't even sure if he'd said it, but after saying this he looked at his feet and blushed. Oh god what was he thinking now Kazu wondered

"Heh," Nai lifted her hand, opening it up to reveal two golden bands, "I've been doing it for years... But I'm starting to think he just doesn't want me..." she laughed wearily and shook her head, standing up and brushing off the seat of her skirt once more.
"Doesn't make the pain any worse or less, really. He pretends to not remember because he just doesn't want me. I don't see why he would anyway," looking down at the rings, she suddenly frowned, lifting her hand and pulling her arm back. With all of her might she chucked the rings into the large pond, watching them break the surface with a splash and begin to sink to the bottom.
"Unrequitted love is for idiots," she muttered darkly.
Tae's ear perked when he heard the rings plop, ear twitching back then forward once more, "Maybe he can't afford special ingrediants... Bro's like that... Food is very expensive for humans now... It's.. Hard to make this stuff called money to be able to get what you want... And other humans are really greedy, and keep wanting more and more..."
He flicked his tail slightly, "I don't like most humans... Just Bro and Sis..."
The comment about him being hot went over his head, looking down at himself, and then at his tail, he turned his eyes back to him in slight confusion, "I am? I don't feel warm..."

"That is horrible Nai, I mean he shouldn't blow you off like that," she said her mouth gaping in stunned surprise. "But you cant give up on love!" she said with renewed vigor. She was positive of this. No one can give up on love!
"I suppose, howl materializes all the food for us, but I like Sera though I dont like her workers her stupid little groupies," he said though he spat the last bit out with disdain. But he looked into Tae's eyes and said, "Your attractive, sexy, cute, nice looking, I like you, Do you get any of those phrases," he said slightly exasperated

"Meh, I don't think you'd be saying that if you knew the entire situation, Sera..." Nai sighed and sat down, hugging her knees to her chest. She was tired of always being chipper... Besides, "... I think he's gay anyway..."
When it had happened, she didn't know in the least bit, but regardless, her eyes watered and she rubbed them away, turning her eyes toward the side and ignoring the faint ripples from the rings plopping into the water.
"I was stupid to think that he would keep his promise anyway... No one ever keeps their promises..." she felt her brow knit a bit, glad her sunglasses now hid her face as she put them on, bangs falling in front and a grunt emmitting from her throat as she fell back onto her rear end.
Tae's ears both flicked forward and he turned his attention suddenly to Nai as she fell down. He frowned slightly, why was love so painful...? His ears both drooped, and he turned his eyes back around to face Kazu once again as he started complimenting him. His cheeks burnt up with each one and he turned his eyes away.
That was... Just strange, no one had ever called him those things before! He'd only heard them said about Aaya from Nai! He flicked his tail, trying to sooth out the fluff at the end, "Th-thank you...?"

Sera had no idea what to do in this sort of situation, she just stood there still. She looked around for help like somehow someone was going to need an ambulance. What the hell, she thought to herself, she was severely inexperienced in helping with this, she only was in the same situation as Nai.
Seeing that sera was going to be completely useless Kazu said, "It's True," quickly before dropping down to Nai's level. "Oh darling, some people keep promises, it going to be okay Nai," he said and he pulled up her head by her chin and looked her in the eyes. "No one is worth your tears beautiful, just remember that, we're all just privelaged to know you Nai. So no more tears love," he said in a very tender voice. He hated to see people in pain. "I'll tell you what dear you need a special chocolate ice cream cake."

Nai didn't know was talking to her at first, though once her eyes lifted she spotted it was the woman's heila... Her eyes widened a second, and she chuckled a bit, eyes closing behind her sunglasses as she let her knees go...
Just what could she say? The kid had a point, but still.. She wasn't as high and mighty as to believe that it was an honor to know her or anything along those lines. In fact, she wondered often if people didn't want her around, wished they'd never even met her...
And in some cases it was true, though she didn't know how Aaya felt about her anymore, just that when he saw her coming, he ran and hid like she was going to maul him, and she was about on that path of doing so..
"Heh... I'm... Not all that big of a fan of sweets, though, thank you..." she lifted her hand and ruffled Kazuki's hair a bit, turning her eyes to Tae whom had crawled off his rock. He moved to her lap after she sat indian style, curling up in it and purring quietly.
She chuckled at him, lifting her hand and rubbing her fingers through his hair, stroking him. Well, it was always said a great blood pressure reducer to pet an animal, and Tae was as good as any..

"Kazu ehm, enjoys helping," said Sera awkwardly she was still a little stunned about everything but she sat down into a loose indian style position as she pulled kazu towards her.
"By the way," Kazu said in a whisper to only Tae "You have a hot butt," he said grinning flirtatiously at Tae. Kazu said he was getting hot and then he took off his leather jacket to reveal his chiseled body showing through the tight t shirt. Kazu never stopped to think how weird and foward he was being, then suddenly thought, Don't pheromones only work on the opposite gender?

Nai continued gently petting Tae's hair, eyes half lidding as she watched her Heila comfort her in the way he knew best, by being there for her... Always had been, actually.
She felt tears form anew, though blinked them back, removing her glasses and resting them in the collar of her shirt, "I can see that.."
Tae tensed at the comment about his rear and wrapped his tail around his person, fluff actually covering his hind-quarters and his face burring into Nai's lap to hide his blush. Now that had just been uncalled for!
Tae wasn't used to people being so openly 'I want to go out with you!' around him! In fact, hell, had he ever been actually asked OUT on a date? He wasn't going to contemplate that question and just kept himself burried into a tight ball in Nai's lap.
His guardian was just laughing at the sight.

Sera chided him for his forthrightness and his harassing of another heila. "Stop scaring him," she said and bapped him on the head.
Kazu stood up and flexed and stretched his body, "What? I cant help that he is sexy," said Kazu quite loudly. "It is so hot out here, I wish it was snowing. I really love snow. It's clear crystaline structure that glittered in the sky like a diamond, it also is cool, you just want to tongue it and it makes everything beautiful" he said with a very glazed over eyes look to himself, his wonderment was held in an odd stare into air. Then regaining his mind he asked, "Tae do you love snow as much as I do".

"Ahaha.. It's all right..." Nai laughed a bit, though as Kazu started talking about snow, and a lot about snow, her eyes widened and she tensed when she felt Tae do the same.
There was a muffled sound, and he curled up as tight as possible in Nai's lap, eyes shut tight and fists at his eyes as well, body shuddering as he held it in.. Nai frowned faintly, and she lifted Tae up a little bit to burry her nose in his hair.
HE turned to burry his face in her shoulder and never responded to Kazu's comments. It obviously hit a few nerves, and the little tiger Heila began silently tearing up against Nai's tank. Nai finally stood up, "I-I think we better get going now... Don't want to get wrinkles! C'mon, Tae..."
Tae wrapped his tail around her waist and held onto her tight, face still burried against her chest and his eyes shut tight though tears visably fell from his face. Nai didn't have any idea on how to tell Kazu that 'snow' was the name of his past love... His first love, even... She sighed, nuzzling into his ear a bit and picking up her satchel.

"WAIT dont leave yet? What is wrong? WHAT DID YOU SAY KAZU?! What did he say? Is snow a heila" asked Sera in a horrified and severe voice. She couldn't believe Kazu had made the cute little heila cry. Snow, who was snow, she was trying to think, she'd read a huge history of every heila in existence. Snow was a male heila who looked like winter that hadn't been seen in ages, but why would the mention of his name hurt Tae so badly.
"There are only a few reasons Heilas cry Sera," said Kazu in an extremely pained and choked voice. "Usually that is when, they loose a friend, a person dies, or they loose their loved one," said Kazu with a hollow look in his eyes that bespoke of hurt and pain. "Which one is it Tae, was snow your friend? Or your love."

"..... Snow was.. Someone very special to Tae..." Nai's eyes darkened a bit, as though in understanding, but in an entirely different matter.. She held Tae close, he was too quiet at this point.. He didn't want to answer, he didn't want to talk to Kazu right now, he hurt too much, he just wanted to go home..
He burried his face deeper into Nai's shoulder, and Nai sighed faintly, "Anyway... It was nice meeting the two of you... But I think we should be getting home..."
She lifted her hand to rub at Tae's back a bit, causing a strangled purr to errupt, but it was quiet, and eventually died down to nothing as he shook against her person.

"Wait here sera. Dont follow me I will come back to this spot."
Kazu flew over to Tae and pulled his chin up so they were looking into eachothers eyes. The cold snowy stormy eyes fillled with ice of Kazu and the vibrant and, although lively, watery eyes of Tae. "A heart that dwells always in winter will never feel the beautiful warmth of the sun," he said in a normal voice. Then he stooped and said in a whisper, "Dont close your heart to love it actually causes more pain. I know what it is like," he said then he kissed the heilas cheek and zoomed off

Nai had already gone off toward the pathway when she heard someone approaching. Wait, since when do wingless Heila fly!? She blinked a few more times, but said nothing as she turned her eyes back forward.
Tae turned his eyes down to him for a moment, gripping into Nai's shirt he spoke quietly, ".... A fire demon always gets burnt, regardless if its heart remains in winter or not... The warmth of the sun offers no comfort to one constantly living in the blue flames of pain," and he turned his face away. He couldn't be healed by such simple words all at once. No simple phrase could heal the burnt scorches across his heart...
Nai grumbled under her breath. Meddling in other people's affairs like that only made situations worse! She nuzzled into Tae quietly, and he moved to curl up a bit more into her arms and turned his head to not face behind them anymore.

"Hey this is Kazu, I'd just like to apologize for my forthrightness, also I am sorry I mentioned that person. I'd uh like to go out some time for coffee and cake if that is alright for you. It wouldn't be a date, just a chance for you to get to know letter, anyway call me back at 695-1387".
