As the two Kyo clones are shredded apart they phase into pink rose petals as the Kyo with the mask on his face and kunai in hand, just stands there and rubs his mask with his pointer finger with his left hand.

"You really got to stop doing that you know"

Instantly as the Masked figure finishes his little bit of advice 15 of scratch's appear on Kei's body as though he was in the center of the attack again. as Kei unleashes his sixteen tempest aimed at the masked figure, the Masked figure removes his finger from his mask and begins to speck again

"Now you really should have not done that."

Right before the Mask figure is about to be ripped apart by the sixteen tempest he snaps his fingers together with his right hand. Once the sound of the snap fades the walls of the arena, the spectators in the stands and everything around Kei changes into pink rose petals each of floating softly as though they disregarded the wind that Kei made to separate the petals from each other. As the sixteen tempest hits the Masked figure he begins to laugh as his body is being ripped apart and changes into many pink rose petals. As the laughter fades from the destruction of the petal clone a voice can be heard in the back of Kei's head again.

"I guess its a good time for me to stop playing my little game of hide and seek for now, But first...."

As the words pause petals behind Kei fuse together as another masked figure lands silently behind Kei close enough to rest his hand on his shoulder.

"...I really hope you can deal with the shock, pain, and trauma of your own violent wind."

Instantly as the voice in the back of Kei's mind stops talking 100's of massive cuts instantly appear on his skin as if he was in the center of the sixteen tempest that he just unleashed on the masked figure. Once all the cuts form on Kei's body the masked figure behind Kei puts his hands together has rose petal form a short thin blade in his hand. Without making a sound the masked figure behind Kei goes to striking prositsion.

"Now its time for you to take a little rest my friend."

with those final words spoken in the back of Kei's mind the masked figure trusts his blade aimed at Kei's lower back.

Kei didn't cry out, he didn't flinch as the cuts appeared over his body and he didn't seem surprised when Kyo apeared behind him because he knew that Kyo was just trying to mess with his head. The pain felt real, his mind made it so but he also knew that was occuring wasn't possible and that spoke to him loud as words. Genjutsu.

Clever fox, but not quite as good as he thought he was; before Kyo could strike Kei lifted his hands together and made a simple sign. "Release" the word was spoken under his breath and the genjutsu fell away. The petals, the tempests; and all returned as it was; the audience was there, the walls had reformed.

With a pulse of chakra through his feet, Kei rocketed up into the air and turned around to survey the arena. In one hand he held his fan, with the other he summoned up his wind barrier once more. No cuts ran along his flesh, and the damage to the field had been repaired in a heartbeat.

From up in the air, Kei swung his fan at the ground below, the swing released a mighty gale that hit the ground and spread out to the very edges of the arena. The expanding attack carved channels into the earth where ever it passed as blades of air moved outwards. The blast of air he released pushed him up higher, allowing him to land on the highest point of the arena's walls so he could anaylze the field.

Kei examined Kyo's new defense carefully then switched his gaze to the other arm, "One for defense the other for offense." Kei muttered to himself as he continued to study Kyo. From here he considered his options, he obviously couldn't win through brute force and subtlety wasn't his strong point. With a shrug, Kei decided to wing it.

With one hand he pulled off his yukata and let it drop to the ground, it was restricting his movement. A pass with his hand and the hakama fell, they were too heavy. Closing his fan he slid it into his holster and using a set of signs locked it away into the seal on his left forearm. Now in only a black shirt and loose shorts, Kei was free of all restrictions.

Letting himself slide back to the ground across of Kyo, Kei studied his opponent from this vantage. "I like your poems, but is this the right place to recite them?" Kei asked as he stood up and began to slowly approach Kyo, his shades were now catching the sun's glare and reflected it into Kyo's eyes. Removing a leather cord from his wrist he pulled back his hair and tied it back at the nape of his neck.

"I don't mind, like I said they are rather nice poems; but they seem to be a waste of breath." Kei said as he resumed his steps and began to stride confidently towards his adversary. Again he paused now much closer to his enemy than he had been, he lifted his hands in a placating gesture "Words are only worth speaking if the one listening is interested in listening." Kei said and quick as a snake strike he leapt across the remaining distance, a blade of wind forming in his hands as he did so.

The thrust was aimed high towards Kyo's throat but at the last second, Kei twisted his weight on his back foot and feinted, the high strike became a sweeping slash to hack out Kyo's legs from under him. However, as much as Kei's strike might have changed a blade of wind was still aimed for Kyo throat, and the twist on his leg was to lure Kyo into defending the physical hit he could see. Not the invisible one aimed at his throat or the hidden one that Kei formed as he changed directions to strike Kyo under the left armpit.

Kei follows through with his low stroke and uses the forward momentum to roll under the projected petals, and comes up short of the black petal mass. He lashes out with his sword and unleashes a gust of wind that caught up the petals and tossed them to the side. Another slash fom Kei sent a wave of whirling razor winds to either side of Kyo, that blades cut deep gouges into the floor and stirred up dirt as they passed hazing out the rest of the field so Kyo couldn't see out.

Kei advanced, wary of the petals that adhered to Kyo's body, stopping some distance away he lifted his sword of wind before him and began to send a flurry of cutting blades at Kyo as the walls of wind closed in around them to forming a dome. The walls that imprisoned them were filled with a tumult of razor sharp wind blades that constantly whirled around, drawing up dust and dirt to blind Kyo to the outside surroundings forcing him to focus solely on Kei and the attacks he was directing at him.

Kei focused on overwhelming Kyo, keeping the other focused on the incredible flurry of wind blades that Kei produced and sent at him. Those that were dodged or missed met with the dome and simply strengthened the barrier. It would be nearly impossible for Kyo to force his way out of the dome without causing himself serious injury.
