There, since you were the only one to have voted I just remade it so its more clear. Anyways, I wonder if we can get more people to join in the production...
(Did you know if you take Ethics Class in school, you can find almost any information you need for your projects in the Gaia General Discussion? As long as you don't take the ones with swears in it... or the MANY ones about sex, which is like 80%)

Listen, we needed to do credits whether or not we use copyrighted work**. I plan[ned] to give credit for any and all members of this Guild who put ANYTHING into the Collaboration; Video, Audio, Still images, and anything else a Guild member adds in will be in the credits.
**I know a very good singer/song-writer who uses a Creative Commons License. Contrary to what every person other than me is saying, THIS type of copyright (Creative Commons) is the ***ONLY*** type of outside resource we can use...
Yes, we have to give credit, but:
(1) We're having credits no matter if we use a song or not, and
(2) You cannot use any song you want just because you "give credit".
(2a) You CAN use virtually*** all Creative Commons licensed art if you give credit.
(2b) You cannot use just any old song you download off of iTunes or whatever.
***Literally 95% of all Creative Commons. Very few people with Creative Commons licenses won't share their work. The guy I'm thinking of can and will share his work; he encourages it, actually.
...Okay, maybe definitely not HOLY...

Well... I want to sound like .... um... not an infomercial. By the way, Infomercials repeat a phrase in the exact ways a minimum of three times.

Script Eh... to ensure that we don't submit anything disturbing. (Martha Stewart in a Bra, AHHH!) Perhaps we can post our scripts in a reply to see if it will embarass (sp?) us. Or if we want our section to just be a rant then just submit it to you? Hows that sound?

Exactly. That sounds like a great idea.
Oh, and because I am editing the video, I want to set a few ground rules.
They will (if followed) ensure that the video looks like a bunch of people collaborated, rather than I just took clips from a bunch of people and tossed them together.
Do not edit your video in any way shape or form.
Do not add text/etc. anywhere at all, but if you would like to request I put some kind of effect, transition, text, etc., I would be happy to do all that I can. Ask me to do it, please don't do it yourself. Just make a note saying "At 3:46, please add "Example Text" at the top right corner of the screen!" Something like that would be fine; I'll take any and all effect requests.
Make your video resolution as large* as you can.
*There is a certain point where this is capped. If you've got the width above/near 1000, that's good enough. Nothing larger. But on the other hand, if you're using a Web-Camera you probably will only have up to 640x480, please use the highest when available.
If you mess up and have to do multiple takes, PLEASE leave all the "takes" in!
Trust me. Leave ALL the takes in. Just because you start over doesn't mean the stuff you did well in the beginning won't help. Oh, and by the way, it WILL help!

I don't know if this is okay, but I made a part of our video... and it's 5 minutes long. Here's the URL: CLICK HEREI am mainly the camera man in this video, but I make short appearances 3nodding Like Ryojo said, I only used text in 2 spots, and left the bloopers in. At one point, somebody says 'It missed me' and at another point near the very end, I screamed because I fell off of the location I was filming. LOL I slid off a pile of gravel.

I got to remember to come here more often I was used to the guild not doing any thing for a while. as far as coppywrite material I think we should only use music or fan art if the fan art is done as an animation. I have a number of links I like I love things like thiothisor thishowever if I do it alone since I dont draw well these are what I do 1 2 3also can post digital photos that I fully own my self or stuff that Ive downloaded from other websites and if you give me an E-mail I can try to e-mail a file, but what I realy need is a host that I can use for free that'll let me host video and MP3s or that'll be all I can share. and I decently cant share videos at there highest quality because the file size will be too huge. I can however write if I know what to write about. any how if there some thing you need PM me and discuss it it'll go faster. as for me filming some thing I dont have any one around I can make use of to help me out plus what I said before about the over sized files this is why Ive always stuck to AMVs and stuff with edited images. any time I did a mash up it gets removed (this ones not mine and poorly edited) but its an example any how if there is any live action I want to see it look good, take your time,make it look nice, be professional, get good sound, don't crack up on camera and show me samples of what your planning so I can give feed back. and if you cant do cosplay , after effects, green screen etc then have a good script and a clear delivery. these are some good examples 1 23 4 5 6and bad examples 12 3my sugestion, if you cant draw, go to a anime or comic book convention and bribe some hammy cosplyers in to doing some thing or look for some film students who know some thing about acting sound lighting and working a camera. I dont want people who cant show emotion or memerise lines. dont be afraid to do sevral takes. and I know its hard so go slow even I my self dont have any live action work Im proud of. and make shore you have permission to upload all the actors faces, if you use actors, to the net.

HOLY Caucasian Boojie!This guy is a VERY good musical artist. He has lower-than-average quality songs for download for FREE, and they're Creative Commons, which means we can use them if we give credit. Despite what EVERYONE other than I am saying, you cannot use ANYTHING [legally] under copyright just because you give credit. In fact, you can't use ANY copyrighted material at all; it doesn't matter if you give credit to the music industry as a whole, or say that you made the movie/song clip by yourself as a one man show. Creative Commons has more than half-a-dozen different licenses, each one has separate meanings and rules; but this guy has a Creative Commons that, put simply, allows anyone to use his songs as long as they give credit. And because we were going to have credits ANYWAY, we might as well use his songs. And I'm not saying this is a necessity, but I will pay for the song download if that means getting a high-quality song. Of course I'm not going to say "I'm paying for it, I'm choosing the song!"; this is a group project. We can all play the song-samples and nominate a song(s) we like, and then pick. Oh... And rather than changing the poll again, I suggest we all nominate songs we like; pick as many as we want, and the song that gets the most votes... Well, I'll buy the high-quality version of that. ...Okay, maybe definitely not HOLY...
