Hazagan The Gorean lifestyle really does interest me. Does anyone have any links to a reputable source of information? Thanks in advance if anyone does post some links. I have all the books and can email them to you if you like. Slaveflower sent them to me. Also, I live it and am more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Just PM me and let me know you want the books or PM me with any questions.

I know full well the aspects of the Gorean lifestyle, the many bodily positions of the Gorean slaves for anything from inspection from their Master, discipline, serving Master and guests, et cetera. If anyone has ever heard of Neverwinter Nights, there was actually an adult oriented server there a year ago (not sure if it is still around) that was fully dedicated to those who live/enjoy roleplaying Gorean lifestyles.
Even from a roleplaying perception, the lifestyle is amazingly complex, and equally exciting. The amount of trust that is built and exercised constantly within these relationships is, in it's own rights, rather romantic. Atleast in my own point of view.

When I first found the BSDM lifestyle, I was trained by a Gor group, and I find that on a daily basis I put a lot of what I learned to use, though it is virtually impossible to live a fully Gor life in today's society. A shame really, I'd LOVE to be a Gorean slave full time.

I was 15 when I found my first Gor book. When I saw it, I had no idea that three years later I would be corresponding regularly with a Gorean lifestyler and reading through all the books, nor that I would actually have a true interest in incorporating the elements of Gor into my own life. While quite a bit of it isn't viable on Earth today, there are still ways to bring it into your life and use it to better oneself. After nearly a year of corresponding and training under Gorean concepts, it's amazing the shift that happens in your own mind.
I find a great resource for learning about Gor is the Second Life Gorean Community. Though they're mostly roleplayers, there are a few that honestly try to be Gorean in their real lives. If you Google SL Gorean Forum you'll find a great, active forum of roleplay and lifestyle Goreans who discuss everything from if Free Women masturbate to if it would be possible to make a Twinkie using Gorean ingredients, as well as more serious topics.

For those interested I've created another thread that will eventually be filled with all sorts of Gor information. I'm starting with the slave positions, then I'll slowly cover other aspects of the lifestyle. The World of Gor

I remember how I found Gor. While I have been a trained slave since sixteen in rl, I found Gor on a game called Second life. Now after a while it is hard to find those who fully commit to gor, or thos places and people who turn it in to fluffy disney land. Either way I have always been interested in it since I came upon it, and my Master thinks he might give me that sort of training soon. I know it will be emotionally different then from what I have learned, but at least I know I am a slave not a sub so I already do not have a safeword, and I have to trust him.

I find the Gorean lifestyle fascinating, though I don't necessarily agree with a lot of it; like the lack of a safeword. No matter how well a Dom knows their sub, they cannot know that sub's each and every limit. Even if physical damage doesn't occur, emotionally certainly can. But I will say that I find the different slave positions fascinating.

I am intrigued by the idea of the lifestyle, but more or less the slave training and positions. I myself haven't read much into it and as others have said already some things do stick out that put me off. No safeword? Even I don't know all of my limitations, how can someone else? And even though I am a sub, I still believe in having a voice in the matter, no matter what it may be. I think this is something I need to look into further before drawing an opinion, but I am interested in some of the ideas.
