Lily stared at her, then looked over at Tess. Witbhh both of the not-so-nive soul' sin this room, she'd rather be back in the middle of that crowd. Beign only kloud enough for Jacob to hear, a skill she was good at, she asked lightly. "C-can w-we leave?"

Tess looked through the books until finally Shady pulled on her hair and pointed at the book she was looking for. "Contessa." He mumbled. "Oh, thank you Shady." Tess said as she reached up and got the book. She then walked back to the front of the bookstore.

Jacob nodded, taking her hand and leaving, "Would you like to go out to lunch perhaps?" He offered. "I'll buy." Not that he had much money, but he could still buy lunch. "There's a resturant somewhere around here."
Anna frowned, she didn't like fights in her bookstore. She was rather surprised that the girl's name was Anna. She had to stifle a giggle when she realized it. She quickly grabbed a book and went off to shelve it.

Tess put money on the conter for the book and then looked at Anna. "Um, Anna," she whispered, "I want to talk to you about...Ikuto.."

Lily looke dup at him, then shook her head. "No thank you." SHe smiled llightly. She knew that he didn't have much money, hse had great memeory. Suddenly, her cface brightened. "Wanna try playing for tips? As long as I'm singing, I don't really noticce the crowd. At least, I didn't last time."

Anna turned to Tess. "He's hot, single, and really likes you.." she said, low enough so Jacob and Lily going out the door couldnt hear.

Tess nodded as she said hot and single. "True." But then she heard the part about him likeing her. She smiled big. "HE DOES?!" She almost screamed.

Anna laughed, sounding sweet for such a harsh girl. "You bet! Thats the first time Ive seen him blush in 8 years! But I thought you went to cinema with Java?" she asked.

"Ikuto would be really, y'know, upset, if you picked Java. He annoys my guts, but he's one of my closest friends. I wouldnt like to see him sad.." She said, looking out the window. She didnt mean it in a threatening way, she had just seen him hurt too many times. "Anyway, Im going, I really only came in here to see what books they had, y'know, for future reference. Seeya." she smiled and waved, then walked out.

Layla walked in, as her usual gorgeous blonde self. She waved at Anna and smiled at Tess.
"Hi girls. Got any new books in, Anna?"

Anna almost feel off her small ladder. "Umm..." She reached in her pocket, underneath her frilly black skirt. She pulled out a small notebook. "Hey Layla." She said, looking through the pages. "We just got in some new mangas and animes but they are in Japanese for Aki...some testbooks...children's books...Oh, and we do have some new poetry books, Slyvia Plath. You might like her." She looked down at Layla, her glasses on the end of her nose. "How have you been?"
