I think me's obvious as well! Anthony! *pokes* The real question is, which version of your favorite characters do you like most? There have been plenty of productions of Sweeney Todd... I can't choose between the Anthony in the George Hearn version or the Johnny Depp version... I don't know either of their names too... How pathetic am I? sweatdrop

I like Johnny's version of Sweeney better than any other that I've seen. And I like Helena Bonham Carter's version of Mrs. Lovett better than any other that I've seen.
And yes I have seen the broadway version. LIVE! Yay me! XD
Although Helena and Tim are together, whether they're married or not...she is still keeping her name the same. Which is why it wasn't changed on the movie. ^_^

I think I like the Angela Landsbury version of Mrs. Lovett the best, but Johnny is my favorite Sweeney. He's my idol... 3nodding

Hmm this is true. Angela Landsbury did a really good job at Mrs. Lovett. Unfortunately when I saw Sweeney Todd live it was someone else playing Mrs. Lovett. I can't remember who though. sweatdrop

I haven't seen it live, but I plan to. As a matter of fact, my sister and I plan to both be in a production of it! *smiles* 3nodding

He just said that he's not a singer. He's a great singer, plus he was in a few bands as a kid and sang. Why wouldn't he think he could sing?

Yea he was in a band but he sang back up.
"Not that Depp was any more certain about his ability to sing. 'I knew I wasn't tone deaf,' he says, 'but I wasn't sure if I'd be able to sing any of it.'"
"'I was the guy who would come in and sing the harmony, very quickly,' he laughs of his rock 'n' roll past. 'It would be all of three seconds and they I was out, and I could find my way back to the dark and continue playing guitar. So I had never sung a song. I said to Tim I'm going to go into the studio with this pal of mine and I'm going to investigate and try and sing the songs, and if I'm close, then we can talk about it, or I'll just call you and say You know what, I can't do it. It's just impossible.'"
XD I have a whole book of how the movie was made with interviews and parts of the script. XD

I would love to meet him and Tim Burton together. Those two are such huge inspirations to me I think it would be amazing to meet them both.

Yeah. Johnny Depp is probably the best actor out there right now.
All of his characters are completely different! He's amazing!
You are a bit obsessive though...-_-

Haha. So I've been told. sweatdrop
But unlike most people I look at Johnny Depp as a person and an inspiration and not a man with a pretty face so to speak. Yes he is good looking...I'll give him that. But he is more of an inspiration than anything to me. He has taught me to be who I am. To be myself and not to worry about what others think of me. =]
So yea, I know I can be obsessive when it comes to Johnny Depp...but I'm not the crazy ZOMG HEZ SOOOO HAWWWTT!!!! Those bug me. stressed
