Sometimes stories like that are the best ones.

People can't associate with perfect characters. [Not that your's were, just sort of rambling on since, like you said, basically talking to myself.]

It's easier to relate to a character that has a jaded past or hasn't come to Christ yet bt will by the stories end.
It's hard to read a book that you can't relate too. People aren't perfect, and trying to read a story about one who is [that isn't Jesus] is hard and sometimes frustrating.

Then again, trying to read a book where the mc is a complete ding dong and keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over is also a bit annoying.
I guess you could say there's a sweet spot to writing, you have to be in the middle for it to play out. Your mc can't be too perfect, but they can't be too stupid either.

I have no idea why I said that, just tired I guess.
I'm sorry this guild has died.... again.
But, you've got to understand, we're only human.
Most of us are young adults with jobs and finals and life slapping at us every now and then.

I know you've tried so hard to help keep this thing afloat, and I'm sure it's probably starting to feel like wasted time.
But, I'm glad you were here, I'm very thankful for the time you put into this place.
