A Curious Letter

Carys had been expecting mail, hoping for something good to come even. There was supposed to be a new exhibit opening up at the museum that he went to often and they would send him fliers to tell him the date, time, and he would always be the first in line to go see the new things. He would be there for hours starring and doing his best not to drool when they were anything that involved jewelry.

"Bill.... bill... bill... coupons? I could use those. Bill, junk, junk, junk..." He tossed into the trash a trio of envelopes that he didn't see a point in bothering with.

One from a place that declared he'd been hand selected to maybe be considered to possibly win an awesome prize, one that said something about saving the pandas and whales and other species he didn't think twice about, and then another one that looks like it was from some sort of dating service. He walked away from the trash can and set to looking his bills over. Strangely though his mismatched eyes kept finding their way back to the trash can, looking at the letters he'd thrown away without opening and he found himself wondering about the contents the dating service letter for some strange reason. He'd no signed up for a service so why would he get something like that sent to him?

He did his best to ignore the unusual curiosity that he felt as he got out his check book and set to filling them out for the amount the four bills he'd gotten asked for. Rent, utilities, cable, and his phone, all things he used and needed but were costing him an arm and a leg. He was never more happy that he walked then now, at least he didn't have to pay for a car, insurance, and the gas it would require to get around. Carys was able to get the envelopes filled out, stamps in places, and all of it was set on the counter before he finally gave in. He found himself digging in his trash can to fetch the letter and looked it over.

"Cupid's Chokehold?" He read out loud then gave a bit of a grin. He didn't meant to laugh but seriously did they think they would make dating sound fun and exciting with a name like that? It sounded torturous... He shook his head and opened the letter up none the less, reading it over he went from amused to puffing up and feeling insulted, "Hey..." He growled at the letter or maybe at whoever had written it out. His love life sucked? It did not! He gave a hissing sound tempted to throw the letter in the trash but continued to read none the less. There was a 'match that was right for him' it was saying and he found himself growing a little curious again. A match, huh? He wondered what his match would be like and he found himself looking at the attached form and what it was asking of him. It all seemed pretty simple really, run of the mill stuff.

He was soon filling it out before he could think about it a moment more. He didn't see the harm in signing up. He wasn't so sure about there being a perfect match for him out there but he couldn't resist the urge to respond. It was a little strange that he would get signed up for something he'd never heard of, no doubt one of his family members had signed him up or maybe it was Kern? It was possible really. There were people among his family who would mettle with the best of intentions. He put the filled out form into the pre-addressed envelope that had been provided, stuck a stamp on it, then put it with the bills to be sent out in the morning. Once it was all done he didn't think about the letter again, as if he'd been enchanted for just long enough by the letter to fill it out.

Another Round of Mail

To say the least Carys was surprised when he got the next letter from the Cupid's Chokehold company, he'd forgotten all about it between when he'd filled it out and and now. This time instead of a small letter he'd gotten one of those yellow, eight by tens. He gave it a little look over before taking it and the other mail he'd gotten and retreated to the safety of his apartment to look over the contents. Within were three profiles much like the one that he had filled out and attached to them were the photos of the ones that had filled them out. He flipped through them, looking at the pictures first before reading over the profiles. He'd never said anything about gender when he'd filled out his own profile so they had given him a mix, two girls and a guy. No, no his mistake there were two guys he discovered as he read the profiles over. They all had their upsides he thought to himself as he set them down on the counter and stretched out all over. The three they had picked sounded interesting but his mind kept going back to one of the profiles in particular. The guy he'd thought at first was female and the fact that he was a Fae. He could recall only a little about that group, just that his family hadn't exactly gotten along with them.

He looked over towards the stack of papers, he really shouldn't base this decision on what would most tick off his estranged family he told himself. To which he replied aloud to himself with, "There are other reasons. He is kind of cute." He had a gem colored hair and eyes too which was attractive in the mind of the half dragon. He moved back over to the papers and reached a hand out to pick back up his profile, reading it over again. There were other reasons here for them to at least meet he thought to himself, look he liked sweets which Carys wasn't bad at making... to bad he failed at most other cooking that didn't come out of a box. He was musically inclined, something else that the dragon side of him found to be interesting, a good song played on one of those could lull any dragon... which meant he'd have to make sure he trusted him before he even thought to bring him here. His apartment was full of his gathered treasures, nothing he wanted to lose because he trusted someone to fast. His job sounded interesting too, something Carys couldn't imagine doing himself though. He wasn't one that wanted to many eyes on him at once time hence why he'd chosen the line of work he was in.

Carys moved over to get a pen, filling out which of the three that he wanted to try his first date with. The company sounded pretty dead set on the fact that they would find him love no matter what so if it didn't work out he was sure there would be more profiles sent his way. He tucked everything into the provided envelope and set it aside. He'd send it out tomorrow with the rest of the mail... and speaking of the rest of his mail. He set to going through it, finding most of it to be the normal junk, bills, and other randomness that he had little interest in at the moment. He went through the process that was separated the mail into stacks, filling out and paying the bills, and tossing out what he didn't need. It was a mechanical process as he wasn't thinking on the mail at the moment. Instead he was thinking on the Fae, Paroparo. What did he know about dating aside from what one gathered from watching TV or watching people you passed in the street?

The time between now and when the date was arranged was going to be nerve wracking he thought to himself as he gave a low hiss in the back of his throat. He would just have to make sure to keep himself extra busy in hopes of making it the last thing on his mind... though currently alone and with nothing to do it was the first and foremost thing on his mind...

In Response

It had taken less time then he'd imagined between when he'd sent back the form and when he got another response. This time it wasn't a form to fill out, it wasn't a date to pick, instead it was a place and a time that he was to meet with the one he'd picked out. He starred at the short note and his eyes widened. So this was really, real then and really happening... he was going out on a date with a Fae. He wondered how long before someone showed up on his door step with a complaint from his Father on this one.

He gave a shrug before he set the note down and went to get ready. It would have been nice to get a little time to think about it instead of a note going: And your date is tonight. At the same time maybe that was for the best. If he got to thinking on it to hard would he be able to do this without backing down? Blind dates had to be the scariest thing he could think up at the moment, even dentists and doctors weren't as bad.

A shower and a change of clothing later the half dragon was hurrying off toward the meeting point. Time to see what Fate had in store for him.

The night of the museum opening Carys had dug into his closet to get out his suit, took it out and looked it over. It was looking pretty good if a little bit wrinkled something that he could take care of with a bit of ironing. He headed to his bathroom to fetch the iron. It was one of those skills that he had picked up a while back after he started to live alone along with random other useless skills. When he finished up with prettying up his suit he headed back to his room, laying out the suit on his bed.

The half dragon was quite excited about the upcoming opening for the museum, even more so then was usual for him as it meant that he was going to see Paroparo again. He went digging around through his closet once more, this time for his good dress shoes. He looked them over before setting them down with the suit, they looked good enough, without need of a polish. Then again it wasn't often that he wore them, only really special occasions so he wasn't to surprised that they were still looking like they were fresh out of the box. Going over to his dresser to get out a pair of white socks and tossed them to the bed before he went from gathering his clothing to prettying himself up.

He first fetched himself a brush and set to brushing out his hair as he gathered what he needed to get ready for the night. He couldn't help but feel his heart raising a bit as he thought about the next meeting between him and the Fae. They had seemed to get along well enough during their first date, had things in common, and despite differences in race they were going on this second date. He held his brush in his teeth, hands going back to his long hair to braid it back, and tied it back at the end with a dark tie.

Once his hair was done he went to change into his nice clothes, checking the time on his watch. He was going to have to take a cab this time, didn't want to risk walking around in such nice clothing as it could put him at risk for a mugging. Wouldn't be any fun for the one that was trying to mug him giving what he was. He gave a grin as he looked himself over in the mirror in his bathroom. He looked as good as he ever would. Seemed strange that he was gonna be dressed up more for their second date then their first one. He fetched his wallet, tucking it into his pocket before calling for a cab which he went downstairs to wait for.

Phone Call with Paro

It had taken the fae quite a while to find the slip of paper he had taken down to belong to the half dragon. He had been nervous about calling, but after getting the letter from the Carys he felt more encouraged. He tapped a nail against the counter top the letter close by his hand as he grabbed it and read it over again before he grabbed the phone and dialed. He listened to it ring. He held his breath unconsciously hoping Carys would be home.

The phone rang twice before it as picked up and a familiar voice was heard on the other end greeting the Fae, "Good afternoon, Delano residence." He said, wondering who was on the other end of the line hoping that it was one person and dreading that might be another.

Paro had to take a quick swallow before he finally managed to meep out a reply.

"Ah...is this Carys?" He inquired feeling stupid, maybe he should or phrased that differently...now it sounded like he wasn't even sure what his potential boy friend sounded like over the phone. Granted this would be the first time he called the man, but regardless of that fact he felt a bit foolish.

Carys's eyes widened slightly before he gave a smile that showed in his voice, "Yes, this is Carys. Is that you ParoParo? Did you get my message?" He was rather excited over the call, it meant that the Fae wasn't so scared of his dragon half that he wouldn't call. It was a good sign.

Twirling a peice of his hair with a nervous hand he nodded his head realized Cayrs couldn't see that and hurriedly responded..

"Ah! Yes yes I did...um..it sounds like a lot of fun...w..when did..y..you want me to come over?" He inquired shyly. He still was sacred of the man, though not nearly as much as before.

One could hear Carys moving through the phone, then the sounds of papers rustling as he went about searching his date book. He gave a smile as he saw he had the coming weekend off, "Any time this weekend would be great, would give me time to get some stuff together for that day."

He had some ideas in mind of some stuff that would be fun for them to do. And this would be his first time inviting someone that wasn't family into his lair, progress on his part.

Paroparo twisted the phone cord through his fingers nervously as he listened at Cary's moving things around. He sure did sound busy...he wondered it he was just being a pest. He was half tempted to apologize for bothering him and hanging up when finally the date was announced. This weekend? he felt his heart leap into his throat.

"Uh...s..sure that sounds g..great. Did you need me to bring anything?" He asked feeling his face turn a couple shades of pink.

Carys gave a thoughtful sound, glancing over toward his kitchen and thought on it for a long moment, "Hmm, nothing comes to mind. Just bring yourself and I will have everything else ready for when you arrive." He told the Fae, after all he was inviting Paroparo over, he didn't want to invite him and then give him a list of things to bring along as well. It didn't sound to fair that way.

The Third Date: Part One

(( Paroparo belongs to Jayoku, RP done on MSN ))

The elf was nervous, he couldn't help it. He just was, and despite being told he didn't have to bring anything he felt it rude to come empty handed. So...wine. Yes..he had white wine held in his hands. He...wasn't sure if Carys's drank, he himself drank very little and very infrequently. But now his hair as neat as if could be and wearing a cute frilly shirt with pants he shifted the weight of the bottle before knocking on the half dragon's door. He really hoped he had gotten the right address...otherwise this would of been very embarrassing

Carys turned to looked toward the door for a long moment, turned to make sure that everything was in order in the kitchen before he hurried over to the door. He was pretty excited over this, it wasn't often if ever that he had company over. He was rather looking forward to the visit from the Fae, to let him in in such a manner was a new and big deal.

The half dragon opened up the door and gave a bright smile, "Hello and welcome." He said, stepping back so that Paroparo could come in.

The place was neat, cleaned up just today to be immaculate, not wanting any messes to chase the other man off.

Paroparo looked up ...he was short after all at the half dragon who answered the door. It..had been a long while. e had forgotten just how short he was compared to him. Smiling though he gave a bit of a chuckle and took a step into his house. His eyes going big as he noticed just how clean it was. He is going to think i am a pig! he thought desperately through his mind.
"Your place is lovely thank you for having me over." He stated as he took a couple more steps inside. "Uh...I know you told me not to bring anything but...uh..well here. I couldn't not bring something."

Carys closed the door behind the Fae, looking over at the bottle that he was holding and gave a smile, "Thank you, if you like we can put it in the fridge and have it with dinner." He told him, leading the way there. The kitchen was one of his favorite rooms of the house and currently there was a lot of stuff set up on the counter, he'd figured out something he'd wanted to do for Paroparo and all the items tied into that, they were all ingredients for making sweets.

He tried not to look too eager, but he daintily took off his shoes before stepping any further into his home. He then followed Carys intot he kitchen his eyes taking in all the interesting things he spotted until his nose caught the scent of sweet. Focusing on it he couldn't contain his glee as a bit of a happy squeal escaped his lips. He instantly put his hand to his mouth as if he couldn't believe he had just uttered that noise.

A soft chuckle came from the dragon as he looked over at Paroparo, "I thought that I would make something for you." He said, giving a grin before motioning at all of what he had laid out.

Paroparo moved to see what Carys's was planning. Chewing his lower lip as he eagerly awaited for his surprise.

"Y..you didn't have to go to th..this much trouble." He managed to squeak out.

He gave a smile as he peeked into the oven to check on what was in there before turning around to give the Fae a smile, "I wanted to though, it seems like it would mean more to make you something then to just buy you something." He said with a smile.

He felt his face flush a bit, he looked to the bottle in his arm before moving to place it on the counter a bit sheepishly.

"I can't say i am much of a wine maker..." He mumbled before turning back to face the man. He looked up to him with a smile, it would be the first time someone had made him something. His brother didn't count.

"Wow...I..n..need to have you..over sometime. ANd..I ..c..can cook for you too." He murmured with a happy chirp.

The half dragon gave a bit of a laugh, "I thank you for the wine, it was a nice surprise." He said, more so since he'd told the Fae that he didn't have to bring anything with him. He looked over at the wine before giving a grin.

His attention went to Paro and he gave a smile, "Oh? That would be nice." He said, finding himself a bit curious about what sort of place he lived in.

He nodded his head, his face starting to blush a bit. "It..really smells good..w...what are you cooking?" he inquired his curiosity starting to get the better of him. He was also a bit nervous as ..the closer evening came he knew that he would have to fight the urge to release his wings. He didn't...use them often..but they just sorta came out at night.

"Y..eyes! you need to come over soon." He continued with a happy sound.

"For dinner a casserole... its got to be simple for me to cook if its real food." He confessed, giving a bit of a laugh before he looked over to the stuff he had laid out on the counter, "Here though we are going to make some brownies." He picked up the recipe for the brownies with the somewhat threatening name of 'Death by Chocolate' and held it out for Paroparo to look over.

The Fae giggled despite himself. He couldn't help it, Cary's honesty was refreshing. He then reached for the recipe and looked it over. His eyes were shining as if he had just read the most beautiful thing int he world.

"It sounds lovely.." He drawled dreamily as he then rolled up a sleeve and then another as if he was ready to get down to work right this moment.

"You certainly know a way into my heart." He said with a giggle, though his face went red as he realized what he has just spoke.

Carys gave a bit of a grin at that, "Well I will make sure to create all sorts of nice treats for you if they will do so well in winning you over." He said, half serious and half teasing as he slid the mixing bowl over to sit on the counter where they would both be able to reach it. It seemed that Paroparo was wanting to help, something that he wouldn't mind at all. It would make it more interesting as the only one he'd ever backed with before was his Mother.

Paro's face went beat red at the tease, he rubbed the back of his head trying to half giggle it off, though he himself secretly hoped that it would come to pass. Having someone baking for him would be a change. He watched as the bowl was brought over, eager to start he reached for it, but then held back...it would be rude to take over. So instead he smiled sheepishly.
"Uh...what is the first ingredient?" He inquired.

Carys checked the recipe and then gathered what they would need, the first part of the recipe calling for chocolates, butter, and instant coffee, "We need to put these into a bowl and then microwave it until its all melted." He said, reading out the amounts of each ingredient they would need, "If you want to do that part I will get the next part ready." He said, getting a pots they would need.

He nodded his head and reached for the bowl and then changing his mind moved so he could stand next to Cary's. He then tried to..uh...'bump' into Carys's...although trying to make it look like an accident he ...knew he face was blushing anyway. Way to be obvious. Him and flirting ...just didn't work.

"...u..uh you said chocolate, butter and coffee?" He murmured embarrassed.

Carys looked down at him as he got close, bumping against him in a manner that seemed to have been a not exactly well planned 'accident' and he couldn't help but give a little grin, "Yes, those three." He said, finding the Fae's version of flirting to be a lot cuter then a lot of to straight forward people he'd crossed paths with.

Chewing on his lower lip he tried to not look at Cary's for a moment. he really wanted to...but feared the smile or laugh would cause him to just panic. He was a terrible flirt...so bad. Swallowing he took the three items measure them out and then popped them into the bowl. THen looking around spotted the microwave...which...was behind Carys...which meant he needed to go past him. Trying not to look nervous he smiled again at him before moving past and then...found he was...just a bit short. Standing on his tip toes he pressed the door open button and managed to get it open and close it. He then backed up a couple steps wondering how he was going to press the timer and backed into Carys. Meeping he turned around, "Ah..I..I'm sorry!"

The half dragon looked down at him, "Your alright." Assured him, giving him a smile, "Its only us here so you don't have to worry." He reached passed Paroparo to pressed the buttons on the microwave, starting it to melting the ingredients that were in the bowl before turning his attention to Paro, "Would you like a step stool?" He asked of him, having forgotten the difference in their sizes and that this kitchen was designed for one his own size.

He felt a bit embarrassed that he would have to use a step stool and thus shook his head, "Uh..no..if..if you ca..can help me I will be okay" He replied with a smiled, swallowing again wondering why it felt like his heart was in his throat. This was only their, second date...he shouldn't be so nervous should he?

"Of course, if you need any help with anything just ask." He said, looking up at the numbers on the microwave, waiting for it to count down before he reached up and fetched the bowl, "Here we go. Alright, now for the next step."

He set the bowl on the counter as he looked over at the Fae, tilting his head. Was it just him or did Paro seem a little out of sorts? He could only hope he wasn't still worried about becoming potential dinner or something like that.

Paro moved back to the kitchen table kinda feeling like a kid watching mother cooking. Well he would have to change that...

"What's next?" He asked wondering it would be rude to ask if the cracked the wine now...

Carys looked at the recipe, "Lets see." He retrieved the next set of ingredients, "We need to stir in the sugar, salt, baking powder, and extracts into the chocolate mix." He told the Fae, looking over his shoulder as he moved over to the kitchen table curious now if he were wanting to leave the cooking for him to do or it he just needed a little break.

Paro nodded his head and then went to retrieve the items listed. He handed Carys the baking powder and the salt, but hesitated with the sugar. before he finally broke down and opened the bag and scooped a tiny bit into his hand then then licked his palm. Sugar always helped calm him down....He looked up a bit devastated at what he had done...he did this all the time at home...NEVER before at another person's house.

"Ah! i am sorry! I...don't normally do that...well I do..but only at home! Oh my...I promise to buy you another bag of sugar...!"

Carys couldn't help but give a little laugh, "Its alright, there is plenty to go around I promise." He said, never having seen anyone eat straight sugar before, normal he would steal the chocolate chips when he was baking alone but was trying to behave himself at the moment, "You can have as much as you like, we only need so much for the brownies."

He gave another little laugh, not so much at Paro but more the situation, finding it to be cute.

Paro felt his face hot, more than a bit embarrassed at what he had done as well the fact Carys seemed to encourage it.

"Ah...n...o..that's o..okay. I..m..sorry I am..just nervous....uh..could...we...start...on that wine?" he inquired hoping to hell Carys wouldn't just throw him out thinking he may of been just after the sugar and alcohol.

The Third Date: Part Two

(( Paroparo belongs to Jayoku, RP done on MSN

Now with Shounen-Ai Goodness ))

He set everything down that he'd been working on, wiping his hands clean on a towel he had laid out before he reached a hand out to give Paro's hair a gentle ruffle, "Its alright, nothing to be nervous about." He said reassuringly before he moved over to fetch some wine glasses out of a cabinet.

He lifted them up to look them over before giving a little nod, he'd need to rinse them off

Paro watched and felt a bit lightheaded at the ruffling of his hair. A ...sappy smile replacing his nervous one as he watched Carys move over to clean the glasses. Dammit...yeah he was falling quite hard for this one. He was staring like a drunk puupy would and if he had a tail it would of been wagging quite happily.

Carys returned with the glasses after rinsing them out and set them in on the counter near the wine, "I think I have a corkscrew." He said, having to dig around through the drawer that held a lot of cooking implements. It took him a while as it was in the bottom of the drawer way to the back, rarely used, "Here we go."

He had managed to regain more of his common sense by the time Carys found the cork screw. He wasn't sure what he was thinking. Drinking? Before dinner? well..he couldn't just change his mind now...

"sorry to make you go through all this trouble." he murmured as he stood back up and moved over to Carys and lightly touched his arm in thanks.

The half dragon gave a smile, "Its no trouble at all, I promise." It wasn't what he'd planned but at the same time he wasn't to ruffled, finding the Fae to be adorable even when he was nervous... more maybe more so because of that. He picked up the bottle, and set to removing the cork from the bottle of wine. Once it was opened up he poured a half glass for each of them.

He was relieved at the half glass. He was a light weight as it was...taking the cup in hand he smiled up at Carys feeling a bit better to be holding something.

"Well..th..those brownies won't bake themselves!" he chirped as he turned around and walked back to the table, taking a sip..considering the flavor it wasn't too horrid. Kinda fruity. He then swallowed and placed his cup on the counter before looking back over to Carys. Wiggling his butt he just coyly smiled. "Well...I am too short to mix.."

Carys took a sip from his glass, finding the flavor of the wine to his liking so he finished off the what he poured for himself before he lifted one hand up to give a little salute, "Alright, then. Let me get to work on those." He said then chuckled as he set to stirring in all the new ingredients.
He paused half way through his stirring, finding his gaze being drawn to downward... then blinked and flushed a bit when he realized he was starring.

Paro was still smiling, though he was avoiding Carys gaze as he knew he had..been REALLY obvious in his flirting. Still....the sugar helped to bring up his courage. He caught Carys looking at him.. but instead of saying anything he only wiggled his butt again.

"h..how long till dinner is ready?" he ask now wiggling his butt to the beat of a song that popped into his head.

The half dragon gave a little grin, deciding that the sugar and wine caused some rather interesting reactions in the Fae. He reached an arm over to hook it around Paroparo's waist and pulled him closer. It was strange, he was normally so very standoffish, wanted to keep people out of arms reach of him but it was different with this person... he liked him being around, being close like this, "It won't be to much longer, the brownies should be ready to go into the oven when the casserole is ready to come out." He explained.

He suddenly found himself being drawn closer to the half dragon. A look of surprise on his face as he gazed up at Carys and blinked a couple of times. He smiled a bit and giggled and then butted his hip aginst Carys again.

"Oh? Well then. Best we get them ready...or there will be no dessert." He chuckled his face suddenly going beat red as he realized ..that many different ways that could of been taken.

Carys nodded, "Yeah, it shouldn't take to much longer to get these done." He said, wondering if brownies were what he was talking about... he checked the recipe again, "Alright we just need... to add in the eggs, flour, and nuts. After that we put it in the backing dish and into the oven for forty minutes." He was doing his best to keep his mind on cooking.

He nodded his head, liking the arm around his waist...but...they weren't going to get much done being like this. Reluctantly he moved Carys hand and removed it from his waist, before he smiled and then offered to get the pan.
"If you add the nuts I can get the pan." He explained. He hoped that the man wouldn't think he didn't want to be held..

"Sounds good." He said, reluctant to let him go but he couldn't really do everything with only one arm. It didn't take long but he was able to trade out the desserts for dinner, "Alright, all done."

Paroparo felt his heart starting to beat fast again, he took his glass and downed half the contents making a face as the tart liquid caught him by surprise.

"Ah.." he started to cough and then was laughing, "not use to the stuff." He explained as he put his glass down again eager to see how Carys dinner made out. he was hungry. Though he liked the warmth...of Carys more.

"Its alright, I will keep my eyes on you so you don't get into trouble." He said with a laugh, setting the casserole down on a hot pad on table, "If you would like to sit down I will get the plates and forks." He told the Fae, giving him a smile then went to fetch the dinner ware. He was looking quite eager, curious as to what Paro would think of the meal he made.

The fae plopped down, the smell of the food was enticing as he dangled his feet back and forth while he waited for Carys to return with the cutlery. He still felt a bit warm from his blush, he rubbed his cheeks trying to remain calm. One moment he is nervous another moment flirty...god. He was terrible and sending mixed signals wasn't he?

Carys laid out the plates and forks at their two seats before he set to serving up the caserole he'd made, it was as he'd said quite simple but at least it smelled good and was cooked well. It caused the half dragon to give a happy sound in his throat as he sat down in his chair, "Dig in, have as much as you like." He offered before taking his first bite.

Paroparo waited for Carys to take his first bite before taking his fork nimble in hand and digging in as he was instructed. He gave a happy sound as he tasted it. Sure..it was simple, but elegant. And the half dragon was proud of it, and so he should be.

"its very good!" he piped up his ears wiggling a bit as he took another mouthful and continued to eat happily. Though..he secretly couldn't wait for dessert...it was one of his biggest weaknesses.

Carys was careful not to stuff himself completely as he wanted to save room for dessert but despite that seemed to eat quite a good sized portion of the casserole. He'd spent the day readying for Paroparo's arrival and as such hadn't eaten anything until this point. It helped to take the edge off of the wine's effects as well. He was still feeling warm from what he drank but that was it now.

Paroparo despite his small size was able to eat quite a portian himself. though it was no where near the amount that Carys ate he still ate a surprising amount. Placing his fork onto his plate he gave a happy pat of his stomach. "That was really good! You did agod job!" he exclaimed much like a child may. He was perking up since there was food in him now.

Carys couldn't help but flush a bit at his reaction before he gave a grin, "Thank you. Now lets hope that the brownies turned out as well." He said, rising to his feet, "I should peek in on them, see how they are coming along." You could smell the scent in the air now.

Paroparo's eyes trailed after Carys, the food making him feel hyper, one may of thought he was diabetic the way the regular sugars just rushed into his system. Turning around in his chair he watched Carys move into the kitchen, he then hoped down and followed after. "Did you want any help?" he called after the man.

The half dragon gave a soft laugh, looking over his shoulder to see he was being followed, "Yeah, though for the moment we are only looking in on them." He said as he reached down and opened up the oven. Opening it only let the scents out, filling the area around them with the delicious scents of chocolate.

Taking a deep breath it made his mouth water, how could he wait?? He wanted that sweet chocolaty smell already. Moving back to the table he reached for his glass and then giving a small smile raised it to Carys.

"Can I have..s..some more?" He inquired with a playful wink.

"Mmm, of course." He said with a grin, making a mental note that he would need to keep a good eye on the Fae if he were going to be drinking more. He closed the oven after testing the brownies, deciding they only needed a few more minutes. He fetched the bottle of wine and he fill Paro's glass, "There you go."

Paro gave a cheerful sound as he did a bit of a twirl on the spot nearly slooshing his drink. He looked a bit bashful at the near spill.

"aha...oops. Um..did you want some?" he inquired offering the drink to the man. And...was..that...odd.. Looked like for a split second the fae had wings.

Carys's dual colored eyes blinked a couple times, starring at the Fae and then shrugged it off as him seeing things, "Haha, yeah. I will have some more once I take the brownies out of the oven." He said, not wanting to risk them or himself getting burned.

Paro gave a pout before sipping a bit more of the wine. A bad idea...he was such a light weight. But hyped on sugar and the fact more sugar was going to be eaten soon he couldn't help it. "You know..I bet you could be really great cook with more practice." He rambled as he took another sip. "I mean..your such a great guy....how could you not be great at everything?"

"Is that so? Well I will make to practice so that I can make more food and treats for you." He told him, finding that to be a good motivation to learn more about cooking things other then sweets. The second part of what was said caused a flush to creep over the half dragon's face and he turned to check on the brownies again to hide it, "They look good... though they will need to cool a little so you don't burn your tongue." He fetch himself some hot pads and took the pan of very chocolaty brownies out of the oven and set them on top of the stove to cool.

Skipping over he looked over the tray almost drooling as he did. Coughing a bit he cooly bumped his hip against Carys leg. "I am sure my tongue can survive." he giggled as he took another sip. Yes...eager was the world. So ...very..eager.

The half dragon gave a laugh, "Yes but best to be careful." He said, looking over at the brownies, "How about I cut you one and we put it in the fridge to let it cool off a bit?" He suggested, moving to get a plate, a knife, and a spatula to lift it out with.

The Fae looked embarrassed, he really was being impatient wasn't he? "Ah no no that is ok! Uh..why don't you show me the rest of your home while we wait?" He inquired trying to not let the dragon think he was only interested in the dessert.

The Third Date: Part Three

(( Paroparo belongs to Jayoku, RP done on MSN

Now with Shounen-Ai Goodness ))

Carys watched him closely before nodding, setting the items down on the counter for later, "Sure, I probably should have given you the tour when you first got here." He said, giving a little smile. They'd been so eager to get to cooking instead. He made a motion with his hand, "Lets start this way then." He said, leading the way to his living room.

The room was nice, had a comfortable feel to it, and sitting on all of the flat surfaces were random treasures that the dragon had gathered together during his lifetime. All of them seemed to be of value, a lot of them sparkling... it was the dragon in him that attracted him to such things.

"The living room." He said, though that was obvious then pointed, "That door over there goes to the bathroom if you ever need it."

Paroparo was a bit overwhelmed at all the sparkles. He was temporarily rendered immobile as he feared he may bump into something and break it. He looked around noting the trend and then noted the bathroom. "AH thanks. " He mentioned taking note of it. He wondered if they were going to sit in this room at some point in the future.

Carys continued to lead the way, motioning to a large curtain off to the side, "Behind that is a glass door that leads to the balcony." He kept the curtain closed since it was just an invitation to thieves to have it open... though it was less likely to happen due to being up a few floors... he was just a bit paranoid about his treasures.

He turned a took a few steps forward, "Down this hall are the other rooms, a bedroom, a guest room, and a storage room."

Paro tilted his head ,a storage room? He peered at Carys as he came to stand beside him and took another drip of his wine.

"so...is that were you lock up all your pretties?" He inquired.

He gave a little laugh, "Yeah, some of them are kept in there. The ones I don't keep on display." The ones he felt unable to show off, the ones he wanted to keep hidden away... the dragon in him was the cause of that room. He went in from time to time to take stock of what he had, starring at it in a delighted manner, all but purring over it... He turned to give Paroparo a grin, "Its a dragon's hobby to collect special treasures and hide them away."

He nodded his head as he listened and then gave a small laugh.
"Guess I don't need to worry about getting locked up in there." He giggled, as he himself didn't think he was particularly special or pretty. He just like girly clothes it felt more...open. He wouldn't pry into the sacred space, he would let Carys decide if he ever would show it to him.

He couldn't help but give a laugh, "Yeah, well... normally our kind keep Princesses in rooms other then storage." He said before he realized what he said, gave a blink then a flush, "Ahh... I mean..."

Paro's face went bright red he held onto his wine before taking a small sip before his bumbling mind tried to think of a response. "Ah..haha....I..don't suppose...y..you supply the princess's...with..brownies do you?" He inquired with the mild flirt.

"I am sure it could be arranged. Brownies, cakes, cookies, I can even make a few sorts of candy." He offered, wondering why he sounded as though he were negotiating for Paro to become his princess.

Paro shifted on the spot, and chewed on his lower lip. Now...his mind didn't normally tend to wander into the gutter, but right at this moment he ...felt his face burning hot.

"And what is this dragon's preferred dress colors?" He asked taking a small step closer to him.

Carys tilted his head to the side, thoughtful, "Most any of them are good but I am slightly biased toward gold." He said, giving a bit of a grin. It helped that he was a Gold Dragon and that gold was among his favorite things to collect.

He logged that piece of information into his brain. Gold. So he liked gold. He preferred silvers himself. More things could match with silver. He looked up Carys...suddenly wishing...he was taller. Of course...being taller wouldn't help matters too much....
"A golden princess...I can..be that..." he murmured his face very bright and flushed.

Carys gave a smile, a mental image appearing in his mind and he lifted his hand up to run it over Paroparo's cheek, "I think I rather like the sound of that." He murmured.

It was like a fuse went off in his brain. He was being touched again, and all he could do was look up at that man's duel colored eyes and melt. He trembled slightly before tilting his head to kiss the hand on his cheek. As if accepting the proposal.

His form moved faster then his mind, before he even really realized what he was doing he had Paro in his arms, the Fae's feet up off the ground, and he was kissing him... he couldn't help but flush again when his mind caught up with his actions... though it didn't stop him. Instead he finished the kiss before lowering Paroparo back down.

Paro's eyes went wide. Suddenly he was up off the ground, literally swept off of o his feet and lips were being pressed against his passionately. Then..it seemed over much too quickly and he was back out the ground again. He felt...breathless, like he had drained the very essence of his being out of him. He blinked a couple of times trying to regain thought before suddenly he jumped up arms reaching for Carys as suddenly wings appeared like a luminous bubble behind his back. It was what helped him up and kept him aloft as he wrapped his arms gently around Carys neck and then kissed him back.

The half dragon was dazzled by the wings, the colors catching his attention as the Fae used them to rise off the ground... and then he was being kissed back and his interest in the wings was forgotten for them moment. His arms moved to catch hold of Paro, to hold him close as he returned the second kiss, even more into it this time as it wasn't a spur of the moment reaction.

Paro felt his who being move with this kiss, the first one had been spontaneous this one...was meaningful. He felt his body tremble as he felt Carys hold him and when his wings flapped something like sparkling dust showered down upon them. ...This was only their third date. Was...this appropriate kissing? The thought was dismissed instantly, they were grown up...not teenagers... but still he twined a finger through Carys hair as the kiss continued.

Carys drew back only when he had to, coming up for a breath though he didn't release the Fae, instead smiling down at him. His mind wasn't really even thinking about how long they had know each other, instead he was thinking on the fact that this was comfortable. He wasn't a hands on person but he rather enjoyed the feel of having Paro so close to him.

Paro looked up at him, his eyes glossed over like he was dreaming. Hell...he never had kissed a man before...never mind a man nor a woman. He was always perceived as too girly for women...and..well this was his first for dating men. His early ...nervousness of Carys being part dragon seemingly forgotten. After their kisses he sighed and laid his head on the man's chest. It...felt so nice.

The half dragon gave a smile, taking a couple steps back so that he could sit down on the couch with Paroparo in his lap, one hand running over the Fae's pretty colored hair. He was contented with the quiet of the moment and the warmth, not wanting to spoil it with words especially as he had no idea what to say in a situation like this.

Murring the fae looked up at Carys as they moved to sit on the couch. He wondered idly where...they were suppose to go next int he conversation. It..could turn all so awkward so quickly. Instead he moved forward again to lay his forehead against Carys his hands coming up to stroke his face whilst he peered down at his beautiful eyes. What would his brother say? Oh ..dear god Carys had to meet..him.

Carys gave him a smile, having no idea what he was thinking about and seemed to be trying to decide upon what to say, think... think... think... everything seemed so strange to say after such kisses. He gave a bit of a smile as something came to mind, "Mmm, how about we get the brownies and wine and go sit on the balcony?"

He blinked and then realizing he was basically sitting on the guy hurriedly hoped off. "Ah....y..yes...t..that sounds good." He murmured his wings folding down against his back and disappearing. His face was still red, and it looked like he ...had been reluctant to move off of the man.

Rising to his feet Carys reached a hand out to run his fingers along Paroparo's cheek before he started for the kitchen, he got a knife and set to cutting the brownies. He was looking quite pleased with all that had happened. When the brownies were ready he fetch the plates and forks, "Want to grab the wine?"

Paro followed after the man quickly as if afraid if he lost sight of him this would all be just a dream he would wake from. When asked to fetch the wine he nodded his head and did as required. "I will ..g..get your glass ." He offered as he used his wings to give him the extra height needed.

Carys gave him a smile, "Thank you." He murmured, once Paro had the glasses and the bottle of wine he lead the way out onto the balcony, setting everything he was carrying down on the glass topped table that was out there. With it were two chairs and a few random house plants sitting here and there on the space.

Paro moved outside and breathed the night air. he gave a bit of a shiver, his clothes..dammit the fabric was always so sheer and thin. But..he could live with it. besides...he got his first...second..and other kisses with Carys this evening. He felt ...really happy. He poured move wine into the glasses offering Carys his first.

Carys gave a smile as he dished up the brownies, putting a big piece on each plate and then set the place meant for Paro next to the Fae's glass, "Thank you." he said when Paro was kind enough to fill his glass for him.

Beaming at the thanks he took a brownie and literally shoved it in his mouth. His eyes went wide and then watery with bliss as he chewed the...rather large mouthful slowly savoring the taste. It took him a while to swallow but it was done in such a fashion that he didn't gulp it down.
"Chaa! That was soooo good!" he nearly purred as he then took his own wine glass and swirled the contents moment before sipping.

Carys had paused in eating his dessert to watch the Fae as he gulped his down, seeming to be enjoying it a great deal from the looks of him. Carys of just that, he felt his heart skip a beat in excitement, "I am glad that you like it." He murmured, sounding a little bit breathless from happiness.

Paro nodded his head almost like he was drunk off of the brownie rather than the wine. "With brownies like that I would eat them off of anything..." he murmured in bliss, his eyes sinking half closed a smile on his lips, he drew his legs up to his chest as he leaned his head onto his knees. He was still looking at the half dragon as is bemused. "...even a strong dragon."

Carys nearly choked on the bite of brownie in his mouth, looking at him with wide eyes... then gave a bit of a grin. There was a tempting offer he thought to himself then had to tell himself to behave. He finished off his brownie and then his wine in attempt to cook himself off feeling warmer then he should... not that the wine seemed to help at all.

Paro let his wings spread out in a lazy fashion, he looked...tired, and flushed nearly fever like. The wings flapped lazily ...sending a shower of sparkly dust into the air. He gave a giggling sound as he watched Carys eat.

Carys looked the Fae over as he finished off all that he could eat from the brownies then gave a smile, "You look a bit tired." Maybe a little bit sugar and wine drunk as well he thought trying not to chuckle at that.

Paro giggled more his hands coming to cover his lips as if he could contain the giggles and prevent them from escaping.

".N.not. rea..really. J..just...y.ou know...thin.thinking.." He continued in a coy fashion. Wine..+ sugar...was probably not the best combination for this fae. It made him...very drunk. very fast and he was going to feel it in the morning.

Carys gave a nod though he would be sure to watch after him none the less, they were to high up for him not to be careful about the Fae. He lifted piled up the plates forks and set them and the remaining brownies aside. He seemed quite content with watching Paroparo for the moment. He was to adorable for his own good and the sort of drunken flush added to it.

Paro offered another giggle fit before he watched Carys move the plates he then flapped his wings again lazily. "Hmm...ca..can you fly Carys?" he inquired , the man was half dragon after all...he never had the courage before to ask about his other half...maybe now was a good time to find out.

"Sadly no, I used to think that it must be something interesting to be able to do." He'd seen his father do it a few times, watching him as he left the ground and was a bit envious of him and that ability that he lacked. He tilted his head as he looked the Fae's wings over, "Your wings are amazing..." If they were a gem he would have already made off with it, hiding it away in his room of precious treasures... He shoved the very draconic thought aside and gave a grin, the one the wings were attached to was much more interesting then just a gem he thought.

The Third Date: Part Four

(( Paroparo belongs to Jayoku, RP done on MSN

That was an interesting fact to know. He was surprised really, he assumed all dragons new how to fly. Or at least could fly.

"Did...did you want to try?" He inquired as he moved to stand up on his chair and lightly stepped across the glass table on his tip toes...so to leave less smudges. He did use his hands to balance slightly though it didn't look like he really needed to.

Carys was on his feet instantly, "Always, I watched others doing it a bit envious of them." He said, lifting on hand to offer it to Paroparo wanting to make sure he didn't fall down off the table or worse off the balcony.

He took the man's hand and encouraged him to join him on the table. The magic of his wings made him nearly weightless. Like a bubble. He was lucky enough to transfer this special effect by holding others. "Then join me ...we can dance by moonlight."

Carys flushed a bit, the idea of such a thing was both interesting to him and caused him to flush a bit. A game that felt as though children should be playing, not adults but he couldn't resist it though... no doubt it was the wine that caused him to follow Paroparo's lead instead of backing off away from it.

Paro giggled lightly pushing off from the table and extending his weightlessness to his dance partner. It was probably the only way he could manage to pull a man who was much taller up into the air. He wouldn't take them too far... just a couple of feet off the balcony. he didn't want to over due it... He pulled Carys in for another kiss, though this one was light and teasing.

Carys gave a little jump at the floating feeling, his arms tightening a little around the Fae though the kiss helped to calm him. It seemed like safe enough and they weren't that high up... he gave a bit of a smile when he felt relaxed, letting his eyes sink half shut as he enjoyed the sensation that was flying, "Wow."

Hovering or floating was a more apt description, his he relaxed in the man's hold before he giggled a bit and started to hum. The song was silly enough from a Disney movie involving a dance scene. Tale as old as time... ran through his head as he gently rocked in the air.

Carys couldn't help but chuckle at the song that the other was saying, pressing a kiss to his forehead, "So... I am assuming I am the beast in this story." He said in a teasing voice.

Paro half closed eyes snapped open, he looked really embarrassed. "A..ah...n..no ..t..that isn't...wha.." Dammit dammit dammit. he was once again reminded that he was...with a half dragon. Who could probably eat him if he wanted. ".....Ah..." he looked down to where the brownies were as if trying to focus on something as he then clung to Carys. "I..m..s..sorry..."

Carys gave a smile as he pulled the other close to him, "I'm teasing Paroparo." He murmured quietly, giving the top of his head a kiss, "Though you need to admit your more like the 'Beauty; then I am."

Paro was still flushing despite what Carys was saying. He still felt bad...he couldn't help it. He pressed his small body against Carys as if he was afraid of being rejected his wings fluttered a moment at the compliment.
"I..if by..th..that you.just mean I look more...li..like a girl." He murmured honestly.

"I was thinking prettier." He said feeling the ground against his feet and almost sighed, touching back down after floating made him a little sad. Being grounded once more after floating like that... but it was a passing thought, instead wanting to look after the Fae, "Maybe a little feminine but not to the point of looking like a girl." Okay... he had mistaken Paroparo for a girl when first looking at his file but he wasn't about to admit it.

He licked his lips and then looked back up to him, before he looked away and brought a hand to his mouth shyly.

"I...I would w..wear a dress...f..for you.." He murmured. Not that THAT was particularly out of the norm for him, though he was imagining something like out of beauty and the beast rather than a nice cool summer dress. "J...just...so..you could rescue me.."

Carys lifted an eyebrow looking quite interested in that offer, "Really?" He murmured, then gave a bit of a grin, "Though you know that dragon's steal pretties in dresses, we don't save them." He gave a litte wink at that then started into the apartment with Paroparo in his arms.

Paro gave a bit of a meep as he was once again swept off of his feet and taken back inside. He peered up at the dragon a moment before laying a hand against his chest lightly.
"but...d..don't d..ragons e..at the pr..rincess t..too?" He murmured trying very hard NOT to sound worried.

"Some sorts of dragons do that yes, but I am of one of the nicer sorts of dragon families so you don't need to worry about being devour by me in that manner."

Paro's face went an even deeper shade of red his hand moving to grasp the cloth under it. He couldn't meet the half -dragons gaze as he murmured.
"..I...d..don't ..m..mind being devoured.....b..by you."

Carys's dual colored eyes went wide at that before they sank half closed, "Don't tempt me." He murmured, nuzzling against Paro's pretty hair.

Paro swallowed a bit and felt the man nuzzle into his hair. His heart was beating wildly, what was he thinking? Maybe he wasn't....but having no experience what so ever in the field...of...love or intimacy..perhaps he craved it. This was a first for many things this night.
"...w..what..? i....have...to ..squeal...Save me first?"

Carys drew back so that he could gaze down at him, eyes widening slightly before giving a laugh, "Oh? Would you?" He asked with a grin, "I think I would be tempted then..."

Paroparo swallowed and nodded his head a bit shyly. "..I am..a damsel..in..n..need of saving...or devouring...which..ever..f..first." He replied looking up to Carys with a small smile.

The half dragon starred down at him, eyes going a bit wide at that before he gave a grin showing his teeth, "Sounds good Princess." He murmured, already moving toward his room with the Fae in his arms.

The Morning After: Part One

(( Paroparo belongs to Jayoku, RP done on MSN ))

Carys was rather lucky it was one of his days off as it was quite late at the moment, the dark curtains were drawn to keep out most light aside from a sliver of it that slipped in between the curtains. The room was a bit of a mess, pillows tossed here and there, blankets half off the bed but the pair that were sleeping on the king sized bed seemed to be content enough. The numbers on the clock, glowing a dull red, proclaimed that it was already afternoon even though the pair seemed not to care at the moment.

Carys was laying on his stomach, sprawled out with one arm wrapped about Paro's waist is a lazy but affectionate manner, one could almost see a smile on his lips as well, whatever he was dreaming seeming to be a pleasant memory. Where the sliver of light ran across it reflected off the golden scales that ran along his arms, up his back, and across his hips, markings of what he really was that were normally hidden by his clothing.

The room was comfortable feeling, everything just as expensive looking as the rest of the apartment, the sheets silk and the blankets a soft, rich sort of cloth all of it black with golden trim. It was Carys's room, where he slept and was most content and as such it was among the nicest rooms in the house which was saying something.

Though the night had been...rather exuberant for the both of them, little Paro the strange little Fae had found himself bedding with a dragon..well half dragon anyway. A slow smile painted itself across his face he was waking up slowly, he didn't really want his dream to end...as the night had felt like that...all a great dream. But now he awoke blinking lazily at the light that filtered through the room , he felt pressure around his waiste and then he looked down his face flushing slightly as he noticed that Carys had an arm wrapped around him rather protectively.

Afraid to move, he didn't want to wake him, instead he stared as the light glittered across the half dragons scaled back.. It was...possible the most frightening and most beautiful sight he had experienced. Mostly due to the fact it reminded him that...yes he had just...bedded down with a dragon...something he had been terrified of before and still felt a surge of fear on occasion but now he very carefully and very gently went to brush a finger top along one of those golden scales. He held his breath waiting for some sort of rage to erupt from beside him. But he couldn't resist.

Carys's form shifted a bit as though the half dragon felt the Fae as he started to wake and the smile on his lips widened at the feeling of a finger moving along his scales, it took him a long while before his eyes fluttered and then slowly opened. He felt a bit of an ache in his head not at all used to drinking and especially not as much as he'd had last night.... he blinked a couple times when he realized that having someone touching his scales wasn't a dream at all... it was Paro.

He gave a bit of a grin as bits and pieces of what had transpired the night before came back to him, well now that was a little surprising he thought to himself, "Mmm... morning." He murmured to his bed mate.

Paro withdrew his hand hastily as if he had been touching something much too precious and that his little finger had soiled it. He gave a small smile in response to Carys's greeting. His head didn't really hurt much at all. For being a light weight he had suffered more from his sugar binges.

"Wakey wakey?" He murmured softly as he fidgeted with the sheet in his hand before realizing it was silk and hastily dropped it. He felt like a elephant in a china shop. Everything was so precious and important to Carys...and he had been allowed in here... He tried not to let the aww surface on his face but he was always a bad lair.

"Mmmm, do I have to?" He asked, giving a bit of a yawn before he sat up the blanket that was tossed half over the pair of them falling down into his lap. He stretched his arms up over his head giving a bit of a groan, he was feeling quite good. Normally he didn't wake up up feeling so good, normally he woke up in a rush, having to rush off to work. This was quite nice he thought as he lowered his arms back down.

Paro watched much like a starstruck person may, he had never really seen Carys with his shirt off until the previous evening but he had also been a little distracted to appreciate it. Carys was toned, and beautiful, he always knew Carys was handsome even pretty, but now it was just a bit overpowering. He felt a little insecure about himself He barely made the half dragons chest in height.

"I...suppose you d..don't." He stuttered a bit swallowing feeling very much like he was suffocating in all this luxury. "I....know I should make you breakfast! you must be starving!" He rushed finding a good excuse to leave the room and gather his wit.

Carys gave a grin, putting his hands on the bed so he could lean forward to steal a kiss from the Fae, "Are you feeling up to that?" He asked, sounding a little concerned over the idea of the Fae having to get up already... and making Paro make their breakfast didn't seem very nice either since they were at his place, "Mmmm... if we are gonna have breakfast in as host I should probably help out."

Paro was ...not expecting it. As his lips touched his he felt his body quiver. All his ..courage from the night before was due to the alcohol. Now he felt a bit more fragile than before, but still...out of instinct he reached out to twist a bit of Carys's dark hair with his finger. He said nothing for a moment just gazed at Carys until he realized he was staring. He tore his face away his face going red.

"Ah...no..y..you made..d..dinner..af..after all." He stuttered feeling the urge to want to kiss him back nearly suffocating.

The half dragon gave a little smile, "If your sure don't mind." He said lifting a hand up, brushing his hair out of his eyes and looked around his room... a bit of a mess he realized then gave a bit of a grin. He turned back to Paro, looking him up and down then asked, "Do you want to look in my dresser, see if there is something that you'd like to wear?" He asked as he didn't see Paro's own clothing off hand, he'd have to look for it when he was neatening up the room.

Chewing on his lower lip, his eyes scanned the room quickly wondering if...they had been hiding on him on purpose. It was a bit embarrassing...but he wouldn't go cook naked.
"Ah...I ..don't think anything ..of yours would fit.." he muttered a bit as he shifted somewhat to adjust his leg that was falling asleep and then angle him a bit closer. He realized he didn't really want to to leave the room...or have Carys move away from him. Such conflicting desires made him very confused. But he still sidled up closer inching his way to the half dragon.

The half dragon gave a smile, "I think that would make it that much nicer though, don't you?" He seemed from the look on his face to be daydreaming for a moment over the idea of Paro walking around in one of his shirts, that seemed to be what lovers on the television did. He blinked a couple times when he realized where his mind had wandered then pulled the Fae closer to him, nuzzling against his shoulder.

While having Paro walking around in his shirt cooking for him was one nice option having him just stay right were he was was just as good to Carys.

Paro now crushed well perhaps crushed was not the right word but pressed into Carys the fae gave a bit of a squeak. Sure he had been working his way to that goal anyway but he had been taken a bit by surprise. After a moment of stiffness he then relaxed and closed his eyes. Ura would be jealous.

His eyes flew open. Oh god...he had to go home eventually to face his brother. Not good. Maybe if begged Carys would let him stay with him for the next couple of days...no months..even years. The idea of having to face his brother was ...not something he really wanted to experience. He wanted to swear but he had never sworn in his life. Instead he just stiffened and then buried his head into Carys shoulder.

Carys blinked a couple times as the Fae stiffened in his arms and then hid his face causing the dragon a moment of worry, "Hey... you alright Paroparo?" He murmured against his ear, his worry showing in his voice. He wondered if maybe the boy wasn't feeling well now that they had woke up and everything that had happened under the influence of what the drinks they had was very obvious... he felt his heart skip a beat at the thought that he might not be happy with what had happened... while it was a little startling to Carys due to it being so fast it wasn't something he saw as a bad thing but what about what the Fae thought? He did his best not to fret though, wanting to take care of Paro first instead of his own worries.

He groaned against Carys shoulder, limp like a rag doll. He almost wish Carys HAD eaten him. Turned into a giant dragon and consumed him. He would never hear the end of it from his brother.

"....Its...Ura.." He mumbled into that solid flesh, "My brother....." he continued to explain where this was all coming from. "I...will never...hear the end of this..." He pulled away a bit and looked up Carys with wide eyes. "Are you sure you can't just...eat me or something? it would be a less far worse fate than going home to face my brother." He pleaded.

The half dragon blinked a couple times when he thought about that, "Your brother, huh?" He tilted his head to the side and he found himself wondering what his Father would think of such a think were he to realize his son had slept with a Fae... not that the man could really say anything given he'd slept with half the races in existence.

"I don't know about eating you... but I suppose I can chain you up here and keep you hostage forever." He said, jokingly.

Paro let his shoulders slump he looked up with pleading eyes. "No no, that would be worse..then Ura will think your bad or evil...I don't want that...rather him make fun or get angry with me than that...you...don't want to make him angry..." he murmured thinking on his brother was normally very good natured....till you pissed him off. "Please...just a nibble?"

Carys gave a laugh, "As tempting as that is I can't eat you with ulterior motives attached to the nibblings." He told the Fae before pressing a kiss to his forehead, "You shouldn't worry so much, surely he can't be mad at you for something that wasn't entirely your fault? Blame the wine going to your head if you need too." Though he didn't like the idea that the wine might be the only reason behind what had happened between them.

Paro groaned again letting his head fall forward to butt against Carys. "That...s almost worse. He will tease me for centuries..." He mumbled in utter torment with his rather vivid imagination of his brother towering over him (only but a couple of inches) laughing, jeering and what not.
"....what...are...how...d.o..you feel...? A..about this?" he whispered quietly almost afraid to hear the answer.

Carys stroked a hand over the Fae's hair feeling a bit bad about his having to deal with a brother that sounded like such a hassle. Not that he could say that he could really relate, his siblings, if one could call them that, weren't exactly people he ever had conversations with...
"What do I feel about it? I am a little surprised as its moving a lot faster then I had expected but I can't say I don't like it." He murmured.

Releasing a breath he hadn't been aware he had been holding he relaxed. Yes...fast was one word for it frighteningly fast. He tried to move away but found himself oddly comforting where he was.

"Maybe...I really should make you breakfast...here I am ruining the mood." He soured his face annoyed with himself.

Carys drew back, "Paroparo... I would rather know what is bothering you then for you to keep it secret for me." He murmured before he scooted to the edge of the bed and rose to his feet, stretching out again, "I will find you something wear and then we can work on making breakfast together." He was half afraid to let Paro leave the room alone, worried he might head for home without saying anything about it.

The half dragon padded across the room to his dresser and set to digging around for something for Paro to wear... and something for himself to wear as well.

Paro wasn't eager for Carys to move away...and a small whimper left his lips before he knew it. Blushing he covered his head with the bed sheets listening to Carys move around his room.
"I...ts no..not necessary...I..i sure I..can find ..m..my clothes..." He meeped out.

Carys pulled on a pair of black sweat pants and grabbed his brush off of his dresser, "Are you sure? I can help to find your cloths, I am sure they are around here somewhere." He just had to clean up a bit and he was sure they would turn up.

Moving under the blanket like a little bug he wiggled around till he could poke his head out the other end. Heaving a sigh at fresh air Paro peered at the messy floor..uncertainty filled him..."Uh...maybe...a shirt then..." He muttered in defeat. Where were his clothes???

Carys gave a soft chuckle as the Fae wiggled and squirmed around under the blankets and when his head popped out from under them he gave another laugh, "Cute." He murmured before walking back over to the dresser to get out a shirt from the dresser and carried it over to the Fae. He wasn't sure why but something inside of him kept whispering that they weren't going to find the cloths... he wondered why that thought came to him... and he found himself looking around. What exactly had happened to the Fae's cloths...

"Here you go, wear this until we can get you something your size to wear."

Reaching up he took the shirt but managed to slide much too far out and thudded into the floor at the half dragons feet. He was...naked and his embarrassment lit upon his face by the deep blush. He sat up quickly and slid the large shirt over his body. He felt like a child playing dress up with his daddies clothes. The arms were too long they draped comically over his hands. "I.....maybe... we should go out for breakfast." He said with a scowl..how could he cook with sleeves ten miles long?

"We can do that." He said, giving a smile, "We can go anywhere you like though we might need to see about finding us the rest of our outfits." He would need a shirt and maybe a belt to tie around the dress that the Fae was wearing... Ah! An idea popped into his mind, "I have an idea, what sized clothing do you wear?" He asked of the Fae.

He raised an eyebrow at the man as he then stumbled like a toddler in the over sized shirt. "Uh..I ..don't know. I usually just go try things on and take what fits." He explained before finally looking up to him with scrutiny in his eyes. "Why?"

The half dragon chuckled, "I was going to see about getting you something wear. I figure you could take a shower while we wait." He told him, feeling that he was somehow responsible for the missing clothing.

He tilted his head again, a shower?....it sounded nice but it meant he would wash ...he realized what it was the scent of Carys off of him. HE wasn't really ready to do that yet. Hugging himself he shook his head and then on tip toe tried to give Carys a kiss. "No...I...change my mind. Eat me instead...I don;t want to face the outdoors yet."

The dragon blinked a couple times, lowering himself down so that he could wrapped an arm around him under his backside and lifted the Fae up off of his feet, "Its alright, we can hang out here. Its fine by me. We could always order up some breakfast, hows that sound?" He told him reassuringly. He wasn't going devour the boy but keeping him here at his side was nice.

Paro felt a bit childish, but he nodded his head in agreement. He really didn't want to go outdoors...Ura would find him all too easily. Not that he probably wasn't searching for him right now.....he didn't come home after all. A first for Paro.

"Sure. " He stifled a yawn and wrapped his arms around Carys's neck. He suddenly felt tired again after all his anxiety...

"Poor little Fae... you shouldn't worry so much." He murmured, nuzzling against Paro's pretty colored hair. He moved to sit down on the bed, letting the Fae settle onto his lap, "What do you think we should do to help clear everything up? Between us and where your brother is concerned?"

The Morning After: Part Three

(( Paroparo belongs to Jayoku, RP done on MSN ))

Paro had tensed a moment, he had hoped they would move past the subject so he wouldn't be....thinking about it. His ears wilted a bit as he thoughts on Carys's words.
"Ura...isn't...like most fae. He....doesn't flit around or leave when bored, he is...constant ..he had always been with me...the only sibling I actually know and care about...but...he is a bit cynical, and snide. Perhaps a bit overprotective." that word didn't even seem strong enough to discribe him. "Its...mostly the teasing. He loves to torture me with it..." He sighed.

The half dragon listened to his description and tried not to bristle, he didn't like the sound of this 'Ura' person that he was talking about... he sounded like someone that he would rather not deal with if he had to but as he was Paro's brother he had the feeling they would run across him at some point, "Maybe... I should meet him? To let him know that I am not going to eat you or hurt you in a way that a more dangerous type of dragon might."

Paro gave a muffled sigh as he covered his face with the sleeve. "Its...not...that...I mean he ..is concerned...but..I am...more afraid of...the comments. He will try to egg you on...and prove you are dangerous. " He muttered. Ura hadn't really liked the idea of him dating a half dragon at all.

"I will need to face him eventually... and I doubt that we will be able to become serious if we try to avoid our families completely." He told the Fae, finding himself wondering what Ura would say to egg him on... he could only imagine really, no real way to know without facing off with him. As for dangerous he couldn't say that he really was all that scary though that was just his opinion of himself which didn't count.

The idea...of meeting Carys family...froze him. Sure...he was ..comfortable for the most part when he was with Carys. Not to say he didn't panic a lot and frequently but ...it wasn't as bad as meeting a full fledged dragon. He thought he might die of a heart attack right then and there. "...y..your parents?" He whispered.

"I am sure at least my Mother would be interested in meeting you." He said, he wasn't so sure about his Father, "As for my Father... he's rather busy so I don't know about him." He decided he would put it nicely instead of telling the Fae that it wasn't exactly likely that his father would want to meet up with Carys let alone meet with Carys's lover.

He felt relieved but sensed...something amiss when Carys spoke about his father. He didn't personally know his mother and father....but that was natural among Fae. They bred and then left. He peered at him wondering if he was worried about his father wanting to eat him or something more.

"Oh...uh...well...you...your mother is human yes?" he inquired hopeful.

He gave a nod, "Yes, my mother is human and she is very gentle so you needn't worry about her at all." He assured him. He could only imagine what she would think about her boy finally finding someone... she would probably huge Paro and fuss over him, tell him all sorts of embarrassing to Carys stories about when he was younger... all the normal 'mom things' that she seemed a fan of doing.

Human. Good. Paro could deal with human he relaxed further maybe he wouldn't have to meet his dad after all. Leaning into Carys he stifled another yawn the neck of the shirt slipping to reveal his bare shoulder innocently. "You still up for meeting my brother?" He asked his tone a bit teasing.

Carys was happy when Paro seemed to perk up again and he gave a little nod of his head, eyes on that shoulder that was currently bared to his gaze, "I will do my best to get along with him." He said, for the Fae he would try to behave no matter what his brother said. He lowered his head to press a kiss to Paro's shoulder before he laid back, letting the two of them lounge on the bed once again.
