I am not afraid to post my age... I'll be a quarter of a century on the 20th. I would love to say I've been a fan since the movie first came out, but it came out in 86, and I was too little to know of it.
I saw it when I was little, however. Then there was a few years after I saw the movie when I though "I want to see that movie again". I was hooked. I loved everything about it, the music, the actors, the costumes... everything.
Now I read the manga, and wait for the movie to come out on Blu-Ray. That, and annoy my husband with how much I love said movie (I get a lot of eye rolling, but he puts up with it. Hey... I put up with his Star Wars obsession, but I digress).
Needless to say... Labyrinth is a wonderful movie, and I admit that I am obsessed.
Other things about me that aren't Labyrinth related... I love Japanese things. I want to learn the language, and I love the music (Gackt, Hyde, Ayumi Hamasaki, hitomi, Nana Kitade, Malice Mizer...).
I'm recently married (May 19th, 2007). I've just started playing World of WarCraft. I love to roleplay. And I love to read (historical romance, yes, I'm a sap, and fanfiction) and write (fanfiction). My father was diagnosed with throat cancer in October and went through seven weeks of radiation (five days a week) and chemo (once a week). His last PET scan revealed the one on the side of his neck is gone (YES!) but more test may be needed. And he's been eating without using the feeding tube for over a week (double YES!).
Anyway, thank you for letting me ramble.

@ Nilithyana: Shucks, there's nothing wrong with reading sappy romance. I read it myself and it just so happens I have such a sappy shoujo manga sitting right in front of me. So, this young 16 year-old finds no fault with reading it. wink

I second the art section! I happen to have a drawing lying around somewhere that'd I be happy to share.
Now, you may be wondering how I got into Labyrinth. It was a dare. A friend from England asked me if I had see it. Of course, I asked about it, since this undercover blonde (no offense to those of you who own the lovely hair color) had no clue whatsoever as to what it may be.
As it turned out, a newly wed cousin's wife had it. I watched it and was blown away. Now. My dilemma now is to stop staring at Jareth's... ... intimate companion.

Since I am only seventeen, the movie had existed for quite a while before I had the chance to see it. I was quite young when I did. Although I cannot recall my age, I do recall sitting on my parent's bed and watching it. From then on, I was obsessed. I know the film by heart, I listen to the soundtrack more often than I listen to the radio, I own the comic series based on the movie created Marvel as a tribute to Jim Henson shortly after the film was released. I own several versions of the movie..and a talking Jareth figurine...and the deaf door knocker. As well as several other things related to the film. I watch it as often as possible and I share it with my friends (and total strangers) every chance I get.
Aside from Labyrinth things, I am a heavy reader and writer. I spend most of my time doing either or both of these things. I also like to draw, though I'm not as good as I'd like to be.
Some of my other obsessions are as follows:
Alice in Wonderland
The Dark Crystal
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Evil Dead
And anything Disney >.<

I, myself, am Lexy Blackwind, and I do a lot of lurking. I hope it goes to show that I am indeed a Labyrinth fan, and Jareth invades my dreams while I sleep at times, enabling me to wake up as one very happy woman (I just don't let my husband know about it).
I also like coffee.... I like coffee a lot.

Hiya! My name's Sumeya and I've been in love with Labyrinth since I was a child. It came out in...1986. I saw the movie when I was about four or five, and I'm now eighteen. I thought David Bowie > GOD. Haha.
I even have the Labyrinth soundtrack that I had to bother the lovely people at Borders to find and retrieve for me. 3nodding

Hello everyone! Well, I do not have a name you can call me on here (unless you're like Javinus and call me Queenie lol), so I guess you can call me really anything you think would be suitable... =P
I have been a fan of Labyrinth ever since I was two years old, and watched it so many times that my tape eventually wore out o.O. Now I have it on DVD and am so excited ><. I fell in love with Jareth when I was three... (obsessed??? o.o) and have loved him ever since.
I love to rp Labyrinth, and in fact I have one going on right now in Barton Town... its a lot of fun, and I think its my turn to post... lol >.>

My name is Angie, and I have been watching this wonderful movie for as long as I can remember. Disney Channel is actually responsible for that, and then I found it on DVD some years later. My closest friend since middle school and I make a habit of listening to the soundtrack anytime we're together in the car. We're simply nuts about David Bowie.
I was delighted when I received this invitation, so thank you to whomever sent it. biggrin You rock.
This was a wonderful idea for a guild, and I'm glad it finally got started.

Kiwi, I say "Poo!" on your dad for saying that the Underground and the Labyrinth isn't real. If I was told that, I'd simply say that that person had no sense of imagination. scream
If I ever have kids, I'd totally let them believe in fairy tales and what have you.

Hi there! I'm Eru, age 24 until July 16, when I'll be 25. I've loved Labyrinth since... well, gosh, I can't even remember a time when I didn't. My two friends I've known since childhood and my sister are also huge fans (but alas, they aren't on Gaia...). My friends even got a white, spikey-haired guinnea pig and named it Jareth. xd
Other things I love include reading, writing (though I'm terrible at it... so cliche sweatdrop ), drawing, putting together furniture (really!), video games (mostly RPGs), manga and anime, cosplaying and the list goes on and on and on... but I'll spare you.
