Though I'd be hard to give up Kurogane and Fay's first born. He or she would be so cute, and simply gorgeous considering both parents are the smexy-ness!

(This totally reminds me of a KuroFay fanfic where Fay was practicing magic and somehow a side effect of drinking one of his potions caused him to be able to bear a child... Kurogane's child. xD )

So I'm not the only one who has thought of that outcome.

I'll come up with more later...

But anyway, about the happy ending; I think we are missing something or no one has written it down yet. Toya and Yukito knew that Sakura and Syaoran were 'destined for each other' and 'adversity waiting ahead'. They probably know something else too.(I'm getting this from the Del Rey manga, although the fanmade ones are closer to the translation so try those). Plus the Clow ruins are in the middle of a dust storm. I'm guessing that~~~~OMGDS!!!(Oh My Goddess!) I just thougth of something about FWR's hide out. What if it's underneath the ruins? Yeah I know that's crazy but hey worth writing down.

Anyway, if the gang comes face to face with FWR, who's going to kill him? If they kill him at all. Kurogane can kill him cause he killed his mother. Fay can kill him cause he like killed his brother. Syaoran can kill him cause....we don't know his past do we? And I wanna kill him for manipulating all these guys.

Yeah, I think we are getting off topic.

So let's see, I won't read the later chapters after 179 cause I want to read the rest in like one night and one big blur. Just thinking here, how is CLAMP going to sum up all the past cliffhangers. Does KuroFai happen? Does Fay get his eye back or just stay a vampire? Do they all stay together or go there seperate ways?

DAMMIT!! I wonder if they will have a side story?

SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. They better start to wrap things up before I come up with more theories. Cause at work I get to think A LOT.

@Dark-san: Same here; shelving books at the library for 15 hours a week gives one PLENTY of time to come up with crazy Tsubasa-related theories. xd

@Clammy: That would be adorable! It'd be like another indirect love confession that CLAMP's been so notorious for for the past 184 chapters! xd heart

Erm, yeah, uh -- random thought!

I know how everyone is hoping/wishing that Kurogane and Fai will get together in the end of the series (I'm so one of them, too ;3) but I think that if they actually do get together It won't be grand or obvious (unfortunately... *cry*) Because if you take a look at CLAMP's past works, their couples are hardly glorified.

Take Yukito/Touya - In Card Captor Sakura, they "got together" but CLAMP never actually said it, it was just insinuated.

Tsk. Tsk. CLAMP. Always the sneaky ones...

Kurogane, Fai, Sakura, Syaoran and Mokona function as a family unit. It's hard to imagine them parting.
However, I don't think it would be likely for Kurogane to stay in Clow now that he's gone through all the trouble of making his extravagent promise to come back to Tomoyo.
It seems most logical to assume Fai will go wherever Kurogane goes, but it'll probably be a huge struggle for him to decide where he wants to stay, you know? I mean, Fai has shown the most emotional attachment to Sakura and Syaoran; he tries to save Syaoran's heart despite the fact that he knows it's impossible -- and he flips out when Sakura is sent off alone to retrieve payment for Yuuko. Embracing her hurt body is the first time we actually witness Fai have an emotional breakdown. He loves them.
And I don't want to make light of Kurogane's feelings for them either. He expresses implicit trust in Mokona when it comes to Fai's near-death experience. He cradles and protects Sakura on more than one occasion and freaks when he thinks she's stopped breathing. And he's shown that he has a special fondness for Syaoran that you can't even describe with one instance.
If it's hard to imagine Kuro not going back to Nihon, it's even harder to imagine Sakura and Syaoran leaving Clow again. Sakura has Touya and Yukito and a country to rule. Syaoran will definitely stay with her, no matter what they wind up doing.
So I guess if Kurogane has to go back to Nihon and if Sakura and Syaoran stay in Clow, Fai is a little harder to predict, but there's a good chance he'll go with Kurogane, despite loving Sakura and Syaoran. It's kind of like the parents letting their children grow up and move out, or something. And we've seen that he obviously has a warm place in Nihon. It's easy to imagine him settling in with Tomoyo and pouring over embarassing photos of dear Kuro-baby and his naked toosh, or garnering respect from Souma for his recent Kuro-abuse. So, so easy. XD



In the Horitsuba radio show, the white Mokona happily states that its gender is female, while the black Mokona says its gender is male. This might be different in Tsubasa because in one of the books CLAMP says in an aside that Mokona's gender is ambiguous, but Horitsuba directly relates to Tsubasa. Who knows? XD
If Mokona doesn't have to be returned to Yuuko, I can't tell you for sure who she'd go with. She loves everyone!
Kuro and Fai would kind of need her more, though, if you think about it. They have the language barrier, wheras Sakura and Syaoran are pretty much set.

I like to think that in the end, THE most logical conclusion is... their journey doesn't end. They may just continue world-hopping. Didn't Syaoran promise Ryuo he'd revisit Oto? wink

We can only speculate on the future. But I think CLAMP has it planned out already.

And I don't know but on more than one occasion I've thought that Fay is going to die. I don't know why I just feel that Fay has something more to over come. He's always keeping people close but yet at the same time keeping them away. It could just be me but then again I slightly hate Fay. WHY? Because he's always keeping Kurogane at a distance. They belong together.

Then again Kurogane is to blame as well. Because he doesn't call any of them by their names AND he has to go back to his Nihon.

So many barriers. How can the future be happy for all of them? crying crying crying crying
