"Weeell... Yeah. That's about right. I mean, I can control my fire pretty well. But apparently, there's something extra odd about it. Not extravagant. Just odd. But they won't tell me. Probably afraid I'll do something to outsmart them." She laughed. "But if you're referring to the rumors of a new kid, I was hoping it was you... I've been here for about 5 months now. What about you?"

He didn't say anything and let a new plan hatch in his head then snapped back "Two years....I think i was the original...but i'm not sure." he closed his eyes and softly focused on his arm and fingers "you ready to get out of here?" a spark of deviousness was in his voice. The arcs began to vibrate around his hand and fingers. "I'm itching to see what has changed in the world." a spark lit his eyes "can you conjure a fire ball?"

Cas grinned, noting his voice's tone with enthusiastic excitement. "Heck, yes! It was one of the first things I learned!" She grinned and a whirling ball of exaggerated warmth sparked to life in between her fingers. "Ready!" She could already imagine the scientists swarming in the camera room, calling security, calling the department of fire and the branch of electricty scientists. Aww! What fun could be had with toying with them. Cassi could already hear the faint pounding of footsteps down the corridor.

"wait till you see the door open, then fire two one at the camera and another at the open door...then run like crazy down the corridor and to a blue door..ill see you there., Kiss kiss Cassi." He waited and his door opened, he fried the circuits and knocked out the guards and scientists taking off down to the said door

Cas nodded, though he couldn't see. Right then, the thick metal door swung open and there stood a few guards in flame-retardant suits, helmets not all the way on. "Sweet, sweet teachers!" she teased with an innocent smile, flashing two fireballs simultaneously at the two targets indicated by Kyle. As soon as the captors were distracted, Cassi bolted for and through the door. She sprinted to the blue door and slid to a stop right beside it. "Phew..." she panted. "All right. Time to go..." Scientists and guards swarmed down the hall, armed with rubber and extinguishers.

Kyle opened the door behind her "Come on, not far now! The door to the outside shouldn't be far now." he zapped a few guards and scientists down and offered his hand to her. He stood about six foot four and and had a slightly tanned face. A gentle smile played on his normal face, his eyes shined a soft blue and green. His hair was a soft brown specked with blond. his arms and body were skin and bone just about, though a little bit of a bicep showed. His legs were those of a runner and one used to carrying something heavy. his feet were size 17 in mens and he was only 19.

"Nice to see you, Kyle," she commented, taking time to joke and ducking through the door, while also taking his hand. Her grey-green eyes slid along the off-white colored walls in search of the door he'd specified. There. On the right. Only 2 feet away. Cas slid to it and wrenched it open. Or attempted to at least. It was locked. "Grr..." she muttered. Of course, it didn't stop her for long. Her left hand fell on the know and it melted easily, allowing her just push the door open before the metal could cool. "Kyle! Hurry. We can use their door against them, but you have to get out before it cools!" Her nearly curly, chocolate brown hair whipped in the sharp wind, blowing angrily through the foot wide gap. The metal was cooling quickly. Tugging on Kyle, Cassi tucked her 5',4" through the gap, praying the metal would remain heated for just a few moments longer.

Kyle followed her through somewhat happily. She had soft hands, really soft hands for some one who used fire...while his were rough and nearly abused. "Ok, now the final door should be a few more yards ahead...about 50...and that will lead us to the outside and a free ride." he smirked gently and watched as the metal cooled and closed

Cas grinned. "Half a football field's worth of sprinting. Not too bad." The girl couldn't help but notice that her hands were tiny compared to Kyle's. Tiny and cold, compared to his. For being a fire manipulator, her skin was truly cold. The warmth felt wonderful on her own. She blushed unconsciously, realizing her train of thought. Not now, Cas! This is a getaway... "Come on!" she cried, joyful and excited at the nearness of freedom. And so, the 16 year old started pulling the tall male with her in a sprint to the last door.

Kyle smiled and zapped the coded ke pad the door slid open immediately. THe sun was high and shining brightly, he didn't give his eyes time to focus. So he ran ahead of her and pulled her along as he grabbed a car door and unlocked it from the out side. His eyes focused as he opened the door. "Hope on in Cas....free ride to safety right here and now." he grinned and cranked it up with out the key.

Before Kyle could get her too far, she melt the door hinges into place. Then, Cas let him pull her to the car. Heeding his statement, Cassi nodded and slid into the passenger seat, after yanking it open. "Ready for a free ride!" She giggled and grinned and nodded once more, showing she was ready.

Kyle smiled and headed out of the gate, laughing at the look on all the guards faces. "So where do you normally shop?" He asked so he knew which way to go for the quickest getaway seeing the scientists and guards follow behind them in a sleek black sedan.

A glance at him showed that the girl was confused. "Uh... Shop? Oh! Shop. Umm... Well... I don't do a whole lot of shopping, but if I had to, the mall probably? Why do you ask, exactly?"

He jerked the wheel towards down town and the mall "Then that is where we are going...to the mall perfect place to ditch and change and blend in..." he pulled something from his back pocket and gave it to her "This is where i am going if we get split up....we will meet up there...ok?" worry and concern were in his voice as the sedan was still behind him, and the mall was getting closer

Cas took the paper and glanced at it. "All right. And yeah. We'll have problems blending in if we stay in these hideous things..." She tugged scornfully at the beige shirt and breeches. "Apparently, they don't have many women at the 'school'..." Another glance at the sheet, and she asked, "What is this place? The address that is."
