Rippedstripe saw Icepelt in the distance, and lead Mousekit with him towards Icepelt. "What is it Icepelt?" He asked, his tone quite bored. "Is it anything of importance?"

Ravenpaw excused herself from Fireface, grabbing the jay and running it back to Fireface. She changed the moss bedding as fast as she could, and she raced over to Runningshadow and Rippedstripe.
"Can I come too, please?" she said, stumbling over a root. She blinked innocently.

"Fine." Rippedstripe simply said, nudging Ravenpaw's head with his front paw lightly.

Moonpaw followed Ravenpaw out of the elder's den and stood near Icepelt, and whispered softly to him, "Keep an eye on Ravenpaw. She sometimes inadvertently wanders off."

Icepelt and Runningshadow exchanged glances. "Go with Rippedstripe, young ones. That includes you, Moonpaw. Since you are a rather large group, filled with youthful companions, you will go on a full patrol," Runningshadow mewed.

Icepelt nodded, and followed Rippedstripe into the woods. "Come on, now. Follow us closely, you never know what's in the forest," he said. "Mousekit, you stay behind. After all, you are just a kit. A few more moons, though, and you can come with," he added, after watching the small kit.

"Hurry up Ravenpaw." Rippedstripe purred impatiently, walking besides Icepelt. "Mousekit, why don't you help one of the elder's this morning." He mewed over his shoulder at the kit.

Ravenpaw stumbled forward, following Icepelt and her mentor.
"Coming!" she mewed, bounding over to them. She walked on the other side of Icepelt.

Icepelt grinned. "Let's go, then, shall we?" he mewed lightly, and feigned walking away like an aristocratic kitty-pet.

Rippedstripe shook his head to himself, bopping Icepelt lightly over the head.
"Now Ravenpaw, what is the first thing we should remember while on patrol?"

Diamondstar flicked her tail and padded over to the fresh kill pile, she took a mouse and started to eat.

"Ravenpaw, take this seriously." Rippedstripe said with a sigh. "You do want to become a warrior, don't you?" He questioned, stopping and staring at Ravenpaw, tilting his head.

Ravenpaw stumbled to a stop, her paws catching on each other.
"Of course I do!" she mewed, her green eyes widening.

"Yes, Rippedstripe," Ravenpaw mumbled with a small sigh. She padded after her mentor, her black paws dragging in the dirt.
