Fujin patted him on the shoulder with a smile. "That's good. Wish you luck on your new position." He handed him a envelop. "I heard it was your 40th birthday. I think what's inside there will help you remember me always. haha." He laughed and moved over to the rubble, reaching down for several scrolls and placing them in his pouch. "I've been meaning to do some studying and I think these could benefit me. He placed a handseal up and gave Yamanaki one last grin. "See ya later and let the wind guide your movements." He vanished with a gust of wind. When Yamanaki opened the envelope, he would find inside Fujin's tab. Leaving a pretty sizeable dent in the mitsude's fortune.

Fujin appeared infront of Yamanaki in a burst of wind. Tired and covered in dust, Fujin took a knee. "Yamanaki...Something happened....I think Karu saved me?"

Fujin caught his breath and continued. "Well I was in sound, so I decided to do a little info gathering. I happen to find Karu...or I guess we can say Amano. It ended up in a fight and well..." Fujin paused. "Well not only was I only saved by a voice which felt like Karu..." He stopped again and spoke quietly like a boy who knew he had done something bad. "And I guess I may have killed Orochimaru." He tried to chuckle but knew that what he did could come to bite him in the a**.

Fujin sighed while nodding his head on the war issue. He had also sensed it comming too. "Well. As you can guess since being in Sound, he has gained a type of curse seal. I'm assuming Orochimaru gave it to him but he found a way to make it better." Fujin thought for a moment. "He's also selling some sort of vial to the different villages. Must be something important."

Fujin nodded. "No problem. I've learned that there are things about yall that must be kept quiet...Or else."

"Basement?" Fujin had listened to the advice of Yamanaki and stayed close while looking around at his surroundings. He stopped behind Yamanaki. "I didn't know you had a basement. This place is big enough and now it's even bigger."

Yamanaki smiled slightly, and the door behind them slammed shut, sealing the both of them in total darkness. "Fujin, there is a great deal you don't know about us."
He pressed his hand against the wall, and a glyph appeared where he touched it, glowing brightly.
"There is a great deal about us that even we don't know about. We claim to be the most intelligent people on the planet, and from the standpoint of another that may seem true, but when you think about it..."
The glyph's light intensified, now spilling over into lines that spanned the walls, floor and ceiling alike, a deep rumbling resounding throughout the hallway. When he finally pulled his hand away, the walls had arranged themselves into a single, straight path, lit brightly with the thousands of glowing lines.
"What we actually know about this world is, for lack of a more dignified term, jack s**t."
