"Daichi, you and I have been partners for as long as I can remember. You know I would never think such things about you." Said while looking up at her. "But you have to remember, when one accuses you of being the father of a child which you do not even remember helping create, it is natural for that supposed father to be a bit skeptical."

"How about the mother one day is told, 'You're pregnant! Have a nice day!' when the mother doesn't even remember doing something to cause it except for a hunch that happened three months before? How about it should be inpossible for that mother to be pregnant? A woman almost in her sixties? How about the not knowing who the father is because she was dumb enough to get drunk?" Daichi sighed, it was becoming more and more childish as the conversation progressed.

Inmetsu jumped up and landed gracefully in the tree, softly placing himself on the limb in which she was laying on. "I am sorry you are feeling this way, I truly am. I am sure nothing I say will be able to compensate you for the way you feel. All I can do is try to help you find out who the father is. Even if I am not, I would help you in your time in need. That is what I have been doing ever since we became a team."

Daichi stared at Inmetsu for a long time his red eyes holding hers, "I know... I'm just... jumbled..." She pulled her legs up to her chest, resting her head on her knees, while both of her hands lightly stroked her stomach.

Inmetsu sat down on the tree branch, looking out into the sky. He did not really know what to say to her next. "Daichi, what do you wish to do now?"

"Like currently? Or are you talking about making a choice for future? Because right now, right now... I want to sleep," Daichi stopped stroking her stomach but didn't move from her current position, infact, if Inmetsu had know her any less he would have probably thought she was asleep.

He continued to speak in a monotone voice about it. If she did not like the choices, that was her qualm. Whether she liked it or not, it would retain essence of her, and would be a Senju even if it was in name only. It depended on which parent had the most dominant genes. And since the only Senju the world knew of were Shodaime and Nidaime Hokage, as well as Tsunade-Hime, and Shodaime only possessed the Mokuton traits, then it could safely be assumed that Daichi's genes in her child would be recessive.

Daichi didn't even need to think about such a matter, she had already told herself long ago that if she was going to get pregnant of her own stupidity, there was only one thing to do, "I'm going to keep, raise, teach, train this baby to the best of its abilities. To give it up, there is no such option; that in its self is failure. And I will accept no such thing under my name."

Inmetsu nodded slightly. "Alright. Then I will make sure you have this child safely. It is the least I can do as your partner. I can not say much for what Itami might do for you." His Sharingan flashed slightly at her. He could see the color of her chakra. It was a like blue-green, and the child in her was a solid blue.

Daichi looked up at Inmetsu and nodded. She could tell that he was already trying to figure out who the father of her child was by looking at it's chakra, amoung other things. But really, after calming down and being able to think rationally, she was really happy. So happy, that she felt this strange warm sensation when she thought about her being a mother, Not as scary as I thought it would be. She thought to herself, Well... for now at least.

Inmetsu looked at her for a moment, his eyes locking with her own. "Well, Daichi, I suppose you want to be alone, to collect your thoughts. So I will not hinder you."

She nodded, "You know me too well... I'll be back in an hour at the most." Daichi smiled slightly, knowing no matter how much she loved the out doors, Inmetsu couldn't stand them as long as she could. Short than most actually, "You go do you clean business, I'll be fine on my own."

Daichi laid in the tree for longer than she said she would have, almost all night. She could tell as the darkness of the night became less dense that the sun was not far from rising. Maybe I shouldn't have stayed out so long... she thought to herself as she rose and stretched. She adjusted Itsuki before jumping down to the ground, but as she landed she felt her stomach drop and lurch back up. She resisted the urge to rid her body of last nights dinner and spit out the bile that refused to listen. "Disgusting!" She waited a few minutes for the feeling to disappear before she began her slow trudge down the mountain and towards her home.
