She had managed to crack a dry smile on his face. And then out of sheer curiosity he pulled the whistle out of his pocket. Giving it a brief blow. "Maybe it will bring us some luck." He said. "Don't you still have family here somewhere?" He asked as the got closer to the inn.

Suddenly a furry thing dropped on Dowen and stanched the whistle from his hand before jumping away and running down the street. As the creature jumped down they saw that it was a monkey that was running away with the trinket. Sylvia blinked and then looked at Dowen. "It wasn't worth anything and you would get in trouble in these crowds. Lets just hit the inn."

Dowin snarled heading inside the inn. There he looked around, for some resone his mind always looking for something to steal. Perhaps it was the way he was raised. He moved towards the front counter in showering stride's. "Inn keep." Dowin said placing his hand on the table. "Yes sir?" The man said looking from Dowins hand to his face. "I want a room, two beds please." He said. The innkeeper gave him a strange look, looking at his companion then back to dowin. "Are you sure you wouldn't...."The inkeeper started in trying to upsale them. "Yes, I'm sure I wouldn't..." He said staring coldly into the man's eyes. The innkeeper nodded, then suddenly his garb caught the innkeeper's attention. "Oh yes sir....if you like we have someone who can mend those cloth's for you."
"No." Dowin said waving him off. "Just have the room ready." The innkeeper nodded handing him a key. "Just up the stairs, door 135." Dowin nodded, taking the key and dangling it in front of his companion. "Shall we rest, there's an entire town out there waiting for us."

The dancer just signed and shook his head a little. "Come on then. Lets go relax." Her tone was as it always was when she talked to him but there are some who would read into it as she started for the stairs with that provocative swagger she had developed over the years. She knew how to get attention and how to hold it. It was all part of her trade. She looked over her shoulder at her partner and smiled impishly at him. They had plans to work out.

Dowin nodded following her upstairs. Immediately he took a seat across on the bed in front of her watching as she sat down. "We should hit a ship." He said rubbing his hands together. "There are going to be alot of lonely and distracted people coming off port. and if we need to make a hasty retreat we can always come back here." He said with a grin.

As she sat down she crossed her long legs and leaned back a little. "True. However if we hit the wrong person we will have to run again." She looked at her partner and then sat up fully. "How long have we been working together Dow?" She wiggled a little getting comfortable on the bed.

Dowin shrugged a little. "I'm not sure, I know its been awighle though." He said with a smile. "Why do you ask, is something wrong?"

"I was just thinking about it. I mean...all this time and we never got to know each other very well. I mean well enough to read each other's movements and trust each other but...do we really know each other?" The dancer asked as she started to take off her shoes and then remove her jewelery. "I was thinking that since we are taking a little bit of down time we could make the most of the time we have." Her eyes looked into his and she smiled gently in a way Dowen had never seen before.

Dowen was moved, a little bit and nodded. "I believe it would be best if we can get some information on a good score. I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen here." He said laying on his back, looking up to the ceiling.
