Sanee Man, that sucks. Well, you have friends over the Internet that will fangirl over ShikaNeji, with you, so I guess that's good. ^^; (Though, there doesn't seem to be much diversity in the people. I mean, a lot of the fandom are simoutaneously in different communities/websites.I mean, I'm on Gaia, LJ, dA, and soon ff.net, so I already have four groups to consider....) Yus. =3 The overlap of people does make for a smaller fandom, but it's actually really, really cool, I think! ♥♥♥

I was able to do it on my old laptop, but I forgot how to do it now. (All I did was go to some Japanese site and installed the Language pack. I've tried that now, but it won't work with my new, spiffy, non-ghetto computer.)

XD If you have the numberpad on your keyboard (on a Windows PC?), then the black heart is holding down [ALT] while hitting the number 3. ♥
Japanese characters-- Start → Settings → Control → Regional and Language Options → Languages [x] Install files for East Asian languages Have your Windows installation disc on hand. ^^ That's where it'll install the data from. And tada!

Hm. I guess I'll have to find my Windows Instillation disc, then. Though, it'll prove quite troublesome to explain to my dad why I'm rummaging through boxes in the garage just to find some disk, just so my iTunes playlist won't show up a bunch of squares and weird symbols for song titles. ^^;
Speaking of which, installing that won't harm the English default settings on the computer, correct?

Correct. XD It just adds the ability to use Japanese as well. (And in my ex-roomie's case, Russian... in my case, Korean... in another friend's case, Chinese...) O.o Oh, will installing the language packs fix iTunes doing that, too? XD I've never noticed, since I had the language packs before I had iTunes, so I could type in Japanese/Korean. ^^; だってばよ!

XD Can you read the characters, or is it just coming out as blocks? For reading, you can often just switch your browser's language settings to Japanese. ^^; But I wrote (だってばよ) "dattebayo!" =P

Haha, nice.
Edit: I just did it, and it worked. Displayed your text and fixed iTunes too! (Now, all I need to to learn how to type in Japanese, and I'll be set. ....As soon as I learn some Japanese.)

XD To type in Japanese with that system, you just type the sounds in English. Like, typing [shikamaru] → [しかまる]. Hitting the space bar lets you choose kanji. ^^; So if you type [しかまる] and hit the space bar, it becomes [鹿丸]. biggrin

Oh, nice. But, how do I even access Japanese characters on my computer? Do I need to imput some special code, or something? (Remember, I am a computer-noob. Please go slowly and explain things throughly.)

 And then just type it the way you'd spell romaji. ^^;

There were nine members when I first made the post. There are actually 30 now (it's hard to keep track since I'm so busy).
