She pulled herself up as she sat up she didn't care bout her wounds "Cedarstar..." she said quietly she felt like a hapless kit now she hadn't done her duty in protecting poor timidpaw.
Sunfur scampered out of the warriors den as she came to pad next to cedarstar "Hey cedarstar what's going on?" she asked head cocking to the side.

"Well, Ferncloud is badly wounded by a BoulderClan fight. Timidpaw got carried away by one of the warriors. Nightpaw found a rouge with a strong knowledge of herbs, so our deputy is being treated. Oh and Nightpaw's warrior's ceremony is going on tonight." Cedarstar meowed between bites of the mouse he was eating.

"Dam i missed a bunch!!" she chuckled as she sat there "Hey need more fresh kill?" she asked head tilting her head to the side as her ears twitched "Oh nightpaw definitely deserves it.

"Thank you Cedarstar." She mewed gratefully takeing the peice of fresh kill."Fernclaw should be better soon, she just has to let those wunds heal and get some rest. If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to do with me when Fernclaw is better?" She had been wondering that for a while now.

"We would enjoy it if you would join our clan. MeadowClan is in need of a medicine cat in these times. The clan will protect and feed you, in return for you healing them when they need it." Cedarstar said as he returned to the burrow. "I'm afraid you would have to travel to Moonstone in BoulderClan territory to receive your medicine cat name."

Windy's eyes sparkeled."You would really let me join?" All her life she ahd to fend for herself and jumped at the chance to be with another cat. But the wasn't very often. To live in a clan help and help others while they helped you would be her dream."That wouldn't bother me. I've traveled long distances before. I just wouldn't know how to get there." She hoped this would work out. These cats were kind, and she would love to heal them. Excitement bubbled in her chest.

"Wonderful. I'll announce it to the clan tonight and when FernCloud heals I'll send a warrior with you to Moonstone." Cedarstar said, his expression one of gratitude. He walked out of the burror and leaped up on the large treestump used for meetings. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet under Tallstump for a clan meeting!" he yowled.

Blackpaw heard Cedarstar say that Timidpaw was captured by Boulder Clan. He needed to find a way to help. He ran over to Cedstar and looked at him. "Timidpaw is a hostage?"

Cedarstar turned to see the newly mentored apprentice ask him a question. "Yes. A BoulderClan warrior grabbed and took Timidpaw away. I don't know what we'll do to get her back."

"Boulder Clan talk! I've never met a Boulder Clan cat, but from what i hear they fight not talk. Do you think we should wait until the gathering?" the apprentice asked curiously.

"The Gathering is many days away. I don't know how Timidpaw is doing there. I will have to think and talk this over with my warriors." Cedarstar meowed simply, before leaving the question filled apprentice and heading into his den. He curled up and closed his eyes in deep thought at the problems that he and his clan faced.
