Jacob shivered. He could hear a voice form far off. What was it saying? What? He couldn't comprehend the words. A fresh flare of pain shooked his body, his skin hot to the touch. He swallowed, trying to talk, his throat scratchy.
"Garlic....Garlic and...and..." He coughed, his fingernails digging into his right arm, drawing blood. "Hurts...burns..."

Her eyes went widde and she remembered the thins she had cofisted from ostudents. She reached into her pcket and pulle dout a bag of garlic. SHe poured it into a blender that sat on the counter nad thought bak to hinm dorm, it had smelt of blood and garlic. SHe grabbed her pocket knife that she kept hiddena nd cut her arm deeply, pouring all the blood into the belnder. She then wrapped a stripp of her skirt around her wound to stopt he blood flow, before cappngit and pressing blend. As soon as the mixture was done, she brought it over to Jacob, and began to help it go down.

Jacob didn't need any help whatsoever getting it down. Once the first drop touched his lips he pulled himself shakily up, grasping the blending cup. He gulped it down, eyes closed. Slowly the shaking subsided. His fangs clinked against the plastic, a bit of red dripped down his cheek. His eyes halfway opened, a deeper red than teh mixture. His thoughts and memories disappeared. He drained the whole thing in less than a minute. He brought it away fron his wet red lips. He opened his eyes slowly, deep hazey and red. "Thanks." He whispered, tired. His senses dulled and shaking almost completely gone. "Just gonna lay here...for a minute." He layed back down, closing his eyes again. "Tired."

Lily smiled to herself and moved away, her arm brushing her leg. SHE winced, she had cut the wound awefully deep, and awefully jagged. She looked down at hte strip of her skirt that was now completely teh color of her blood. You couldn't tell ti had once been white.

Jacob sighed loudly. "I'm allergic to garlic..." He mumbled, not meaning to invade people's minds. "It dulls my powers..." He drifted off. He opened one eye and sat up slightly. He looked over at Lily's hand. "I can stop the bleeding." He held his hand up, "If you trust me enough." He looked over at her, is dark brown eye watching her.

She looked down at her arm and watched drop of blood drip from the soaked bandage down o the floor. In an instant she remembered anothers blood, the murder of another, the inabiliity. . .She smiled a shook her head, writing out quickly
I trust you, deeply, but right now you don't have the energy to do anything. Rest first, okay?
She gave him a slight smile
I'd much rather I lost a little blood then you get seriously hurt.

Jacob gave a slight smile his mind getting fuzzy with the effect of garlic. "Not this kind, mate." He nodded, resting his head against the couch. He never really slept, not like he used to, he always remained halfway in the world and halfway out. "I trust you too, Lily..." He mumbled, the sentence probably wasn't even audible.

Her expressions softened and she tilted her head to the left a little bit, smiling lightly. She had heard it, she had extreemely sharp senses. She hadn't been trusted or trusted since it had happened, it felt good to again be someonmes friend.

Miss Hannigan came in. "Oh dear! What's happened here Ell?" She turned and spotted Lily. "Lily darling, you're needed in the dining hall. One of the first years felt a bit queasy, and I got there just a second too late." She went into the store cupboard and brought out some gauze. "There," she said, when she had wrapped Lily's hand up securely, "Off you go dear."

Ell made sure that Jacob had drunk all his potion, then settled him back to make him sleep. "Aha, Elli, glad youre back! Max is feeling kinda queasy, and Jacob is just settling down to sleep. I'll deal with Master Teran." She smiled, glad Eliza was back, then bustled over to Max.

Jacob felt himself get cared away in thoughts and memories. Kat's smile, her dark brown culy hair. Then the way she held onto Jack, Jacob's best friend and practically big brother.
Jacob twitched in his half sleep.
The night he was by himself on the street, that feeling of endless loniness. His feet splashed in the puddles of gray water on the asphalt. He felt numb, invincible. He felt wreckless and broken.
Jacob bit his lip, hard, the metalic taste of blood in his mouth. He jolted awake, his eyes red. He looked around confused. "Wha..?" He said, blood dripping down his chin. "Where's Lily?" He blushed, for she was the firt thing he noticed as having changed. Then he noticed Ell. "Huh?"
