Invincible Cydonian Creep Oh wow, so many Muse fans! You should all come and join the Muse guild. We're having our annual celebration soon. It'll be really awesome (yes, I am organising a lot of it...) Yeah, that would be a good idea, I just joined and I feel kinda lonely being there...

I like a lot of the same stuff that you guys have already posted: Mika Led Zeppelin Snow Patrol Coldplay Lifehouse Deep Purple Elton John The Beatles The Click Five and a lot of other stuff.
I've never heard of Muse, but since so many of you like it, I'll definitely check it out. Any particular CDs you recommend?

Any CD recommendations...that's kinda hard...Muse are really different in each album and you might like one more then the other...but if you want stop by my profile, I have a video of them preforming live (Muse live is perhaps one of the best things ever.) Some songs I suggest are Sunburn, Muscle Museum (thats the one in my profile), Space Dementia, Citizen Erased, Stockholm Syndrome, Endlessly, Ruled by Secrecy, Map of the Problematique and Knights of Cydonia...there I gave at least two songs per album, a bit of a Muse sample for you.
*Oh, and I really fought all urge not to just be shocked and write "WHAT? you have not heard of Muse???" and actually tried to be calm*

I'd say the best album to start with would be Absolution.
Then, if you like that, try Black Holes and Revelations or Showbiz. I'd leave Origin of Symmetry until last, because I found it the most difficult to get in to, but very rewarding. But that's my opinion.
...you should still check out Absolution.

Interesting...I thought Origin of Symmetry was the easiest to just love...along with BH&R...
An another more important note, I was wonder if there was anyway to associate the Jane Austen Guild with the Muse Guild, considering so many of the guild members are fans of Muse, too, and promote the Muse guild here and vise versa, I began a topic of this in the main forum if you would like to look at it.

I remember singing a Cirque du Soleil song for Choral Festival last year. It was awesome. We won.
I need to get more Gomez.

Yup. Wikipedia says (as does the lyrics book in his latest album): Patrick Wolf plays many instruments including harp, clavinet, harpsichord, guitar, piano, autoharp, kantele, organ, mountain dulcimer, clavichord, harmonium, accordion, theremin, ukulele, viola and violin. I wish I was that talented and that sexy.
