I dont have much of a warddrobe for rockin out. Mostly comfywear. Probably not a good philosophy if I ever wanted to become a model... sweatdrop Yea but the clothes can make you noticable or at least let people in on what youre about, just a little. Maybe just to feel good looking a certain way. Then again it could just look good on you. Bleh no advice, just balls!

metal fashion, hmm. i just wear jeans, shirt and heavy studded black jacket (not right now though, screw the jacket, its friken over a hundred degrees everyday where i live... damn, i hate the summer.)anyway, but whats metal without the horrorshow kicking boots for those crazy moments of ultraviolence? (or is that punk?) but boots are a necesity, i need new ones and i have my eyes on a pair of Doc Martens, but man they're expensive.

I just wear a shirt and a skirt/jeans. Even though rock fashion is pretty cool, I don't believe it's a part of metal culture.

Pretty much what my avi is wearing. T-shirt and jeans. Some cool accessories, like a studded belt or a leather wrist cuff are my favorites. Can't forget the chain. cool
Honestly, while metal DOES have a pretty stereotyped wardrobe, I don't think "looking the part" is a must. I mean, I have a style I'm comfy with, and it tends to be a mix between girly/fashionable and rock. Its just me. I think what makes most rockers and metalheads have a cool fashion is that they don't care. That is, like say, "preps" (I hate labeling, but lets face it, it's a must) always look exactly the same. While most people I know who like rock and have a rocking style don't look like everyone else, but you can still tell what they're into.
OH! Also, its not just the clothes that make for a great style, its the attitude you bring with it. Don't go around wearing studs and leather if you act like "EWWW! OMGawd!!!" lol. I mean, you can, but it just wouldn't work.

I think it's okay, but we shouldn't base everything just souly on the clothing because anyone could dress one way just to say they are something they are clearly not. Metal is inside the person rather than outside the person.

Heh a guild about metal fashion? seems like you will all be talking about faggy quarter inch suspenders and 50 zippers hanging off of pants that look to be clown pants sold for 50 dollars at hot topic
I'll keep an eye on that guild you can dress metal without being a f** just get oldskool
