L will always be best as seme to me.

He's nowhere near as naive as some of fandom makes him appear. His apparent passion for sweets and unusual ways of sitting and holding objects are overplayed in fandom to make him appear "innocent" (sometimes in a manner that makes him ridiculously girly), but no innocent could keep people in confinement the way L did. In actual cannon, his attempts at playing innocent are glaringly obvious when he makes them because they're in such contradiction to his usual character. And if he were at all passive, he certainly wouldn't be as unconcerned about how often he ended up physically battling Light. He's direct, blunt, and pretty much a slob, albeit one that's easy to get attached to.

I can't say anything about the state of his experience when it comes to sex, as there's certainly nothing apparent from the anime/manga about either himself or Light being more or less experienced than the other. (Sure, you can quote how many "girlfriends" Light's had, but how many people have fallen into bed with every person they've dated?) I just think that some people would be really surprised if they seriously focused on cannon facts and forgot what they know from fannon. rolleyes

Honestly though, when it comes to who's who in the seme/uke positions, they'd probably fight for top and switch off more often than not (because they're geniuses and the same thing all the time would get boring, right?)

Anyway, I hardly expected this post to become so wordy. sweatdrop I'll just leave it with, I definitely support LxLight over LightxL, but as long as they're together, whatever works for me.

I personally think that if someone HAD to be the uke... It would be L.
Mainly because he has alot of the uber calities of an adourable Uke will Light is VERY over protective of multiple things. (death note hidding place, Misa being Misa, carefully planning how to get away with being a murderer, ect..) And L can be one of them too...

I see L as seme, if only for the fact that most of the fanfictions I've read depict him as innocent and mewling and way too naive for a world-class genius detective solving dozens of murder cases. Then again, I'm also a supporter of the pair of them switching it up, provided the author doesn't make them so outrageously out of character. Timeline's important too, if it's memoryloss!Raito, then L would definitely be chalked up as seme in my book.

I have to go with the switch hitters to be honest.

While the more female type L is cute, it gets old. I don't see L as fem. Odd, eccentric and a bit out of touch with reality in some ways yes, but not fem. If I'm in a fluffy mood, then I want fem L. *g*

However, when honestly keeping with the way the characters are, totally switch. Neither of our boys are less in any way other than size. Lets face it L is as manipulative and sadistic as Light, he just goes about it differently. They both want control, they both want superiority and they both hate to loose. Would make for some AMAZING hot angry sex with whoever gets pinned first being the uke.

In reality, they are barely compatible at all as a couple...You put two people in a room alone who hate to lose and they'll fight to the death...
even if it's a fight for the top(lol), someone might end up dead(and this is without a deathnote). Poor unlucky uke...

I'd like to think of L as seme sometimes.. But really.. It could go either way. It really depends on how Raito is feeling. xD I've done both in a roleplay. But being seme.. Well you kind of get addicted to the power.
