As for the girl I'd say Tsunade, but I think Sakura will surpass her soon :]

Well, not Gaara for sure, he gets his a** kicked by Sasori after he becomes kazekage. Yeah, Itachi is probably the strongest, and Tsunade for the girls for sure.

Kakashi I think is pretty strong, but I think that they all have the srtong and week points.
I think The fifth Hokage is pretty tough.

Out of raw power, Kakashi is the strongest of the ones mentioned. Out of skill, one on one, it would be Itachi. This is not what I say because of likes or dislikes, it's speculation, otherwise I would say Rock Lee. I think Guy should have been included in the poll, as he's stronger than Kakashi in raw power.
Tsunade has the most power as for the girls.
On a side note, thanks for the Gaara spoiler, I haven't watched Shippuden yet. evil

Hmmm... I dunno, its hard to say. I could say Gaara for his [almost]unbeatable sand jutsu, but then Rock Lee overcomes Gaara because of his speed and taijutsu, but hes no match against Neji and his Byakugan(?) and his quick thinking... But Kakashi could wipe him out Easy... And Itachi is on a whole different playing field than Kakashi, but Tsunade might be able to put up a fight.
In my opinion, Sasori could wipe the floors with these guys. mrgreen
