Sanee XD Yeah. This is my first time ever doing something like this. Being the leader of something, I mean. Even though it's just a small community on the Internet dedicated to a fanpairing, it's still something. *lol* If only you could use that as part of a resumé or college application or something! I ran our small Japanese club in high school (well... our club of varying sizes depending on the year and time of the year), and I run a very small, very casual LJ community for Nagisa Kaworu, but that's it. XD

XDNice. "Miss ______, our college likes to see leadership qualities in our applicants. Tell, us, do you have any of these qualities?" "Yes, I do. I am the owner of The Deer and the Screw (blah blah blah). We...encourage the idea that love is not limited to only heterosexuals. (?)" Lol, I found me a loophole. Who's Nagisa Kaworu? I've heard of Nagisa Aoi, but she's off of Strawberry Panic, so... ^^;

ShikaNeji *blink* He. XD Nagisa Kaworu is a male character in Neon Genesis Evangelion. XD My bad. ^^; (I assumed that this Nagisa was a girl since Nagisa Aoi in Strawberry Panic was a girl. I mean, SP is a shoujo-ai anime , after all. sweatdrop ) He's the white haired one who kills the kitten, right? (Please don't spoil me any more than that. I've only seen up to volume nine in the manga, and haven't seen much of the anime.)

That is correct. XD And I won't spoil it. ^^;
Nagisa is a surname. ^^; So it can be any gender. Aoi = Girl's name; Kaworu = ... either, really, but boy's name in this case. XD There are Kaorus that are girls, too, though.

I see, I see. God, I hate it when people put family names first. I know that's how it's supposed to be done, but I really prefer it when the names are switched, like how Americans do it. (I'm spoiled. xD)

Really? I prefer surname first. XD Call it being Asian, call it being a Japanophile... but I like organization, and I like going from general to specific. XD So I like surname, then given name. It gives you an association or a context before saying who you are. ^^;

That makes sense, but I just prefer it the way Americans do it.
I also don't like putting the day beore the month. I even put it month-day in Spanish class, when the order is supposed to be switched!

=P I like putting the day first. Actually, I like putting the year, then the month, then the day. (Order again.) But if the year has to be last, then I prefer the date first-- specific to generic. ^_^
SO! Uh... Nara, what a nice name. biggrin And Hyuuga. Mmm, pretty. [/name-date tangent]

My name would look absolutely horrible if I had "Nara" at the end of it. (As much as I love mah Shika, I'd never be able to fan-marry him.)
Here's why (and I even put family name first, like you like it):
(last name) Sara ---> Nara Sara
How horrible is that? gonk gonk gonk

XD Hey, my name in Japanese is pronounced the same way they say "darling." That's not much better!
Daryn --> deerin/daarin Darling --> daarin(gu)
Nara Sara/Sara Nara is kind of cute. XD In a funny, "Oh god, don't ever do that to your child!" way. ^^;;; Some of the names people give their kids... *sighs and shakes head*

...Well, I wouldn't ever have to worry about my name becoming like that, since one can't marry a fictional character. (It's just a fling since I can't get a boyfriend in real life!)
Actually, that's kinda cute.
How would my brother Matt's name be pronounced? Matto? (I mean, take Light from Death Note. His name is pronounced "Laitto", so I figured that any name ending with a "T" would get an "o" after it, if only in pronunciation. Still, it's really funny.
One of my neighbors named one of their children Nevaeh. Y'know, "Heaven", backwards? It totally makes sense. rolleyes

Nevaeh... that's so cute!
Yeah, Matto/マット. There's a Matt in DeathNote, too. XD
Light = Raito/ライト ^_^
I had a friend named Sarah who went by Salad because in Japanese, the most blunt, informal way to introduce yourself is "Sara da." And sarada = "salad" in Japanese. XD
