RPG. What's FPS?
Lord Of The Rings. Movie or book?
FPS is First Player Shooter
smile Halo, Halflife and Doom are examples of these. The differences between RPG and FPS is that RPG is almost always fantasy, and the major difference: in RPG your character can become stronger. Higher levels, better skills.. You name it. In FPS your character only can get better equipment, the character itself cannot improve, and you usually do not *create* your character yourself with race, appearance, skills and all. I personally like RPG the most as well, I'm obsessed by Baldurs Gate II: Shadows of Amn for the moment. If you have more questions about the difference between FPS and RPG, or other game types as well, feel free to PM me, as this is a subject where I feel at home
xp But I think I made myself rather clear in the difference between RPG and FPS
