i can play the base, the drums(all of them, my dads a collector, used to be in a bad and his favorite instrument is the drum, so i play alot....^_^), the guitaron, and the guitar, the concert piano, and i love the violin but in horrible at it! well i really wanted to play for my band because their trombone section could rock if they paid attention to what they were reading! so i wanted to, but band in my school is a class and you cant just join cause they practice during forth period. and i had art, so i couldn't go. i tried, but my councelor really hates me so she totally refused to change my schedule.
that was 2 years ago but im in the 12th grade now so that wouldn't even matter.

DaNcEr316 Emangle DaNcEr316 [~Heaven~Awaits~You~] DaNcEr316 At my school you start at Varcity Marching band in 7th grade but i'm in 8th too coolio...what do you play??? Drums hense the snare drum in a jar on my sig. Drums?? That's awesome. I hope ur better than the drumline at my school. They can't keep in tempo... but it's really cool that you start in middle school!!! are drumline rocks where we live we won the percussion award almost every time Our percussion is good in high school, sometimes the middle school percussion slows down.

i started band in 5th grade- plus 4th was a preveiw type thing where we had ppl come showing us all the diff insterments-but our marching is not till 9th grade -we just did festival of bands all our school districts bands played at it and it was on tv it is every year

No marching bands, but we have like fifty in high school. We do festivals as well.

Emangle Sweet!!! Anyone here in marching band for their school? I am, well, I'm forced to. Manditory for all band members, but it's fun. What about other people? What's your opinion on marching band? I'm a senior in high school and have been in the marching band (also forced) for 4 years. It can be difficult at times, but I think it's really fun. I'm also in the school's concert, jazz, and pep bands. I play lead trombone biggrin

I started playing my flute in fifth grade and I still use the same flute I blew my first note into! I love my flute! I also love the name of it, Yin biggrin

Howdy! I play French Horn in meh middle school concert band! -.^ We just had a solo/ensamble competition, and for my solo "The Hunt", I got a 1+!!!!! biggrin

HEY! i play alto sax in middle skool band. saxophones rok but i havent seen anyone in this guild who plays it yet! crying o well so yea band is awesome! biggrin

Hey!
Yeah, well I'm going into the ninth grade and I play flute.
Our high school band does concerts, festivals, field shows, parades, and SOME reviews.
Our JH only does 2 concerts, 5 out of town band reviews, and 5 parades for our town.
The high school starts band camp on the third.
I'm kind of scared, but it should be fun.
